Each session is charged by the hour starting at $29/h. There is a huge selection of games from fighting to horror to sports to exploring and many more! The staff is super helpful so don't worry if you have never tried VR before! They give you an extensive tutorial and continues to help you throughout your session if you need it. We had such a great first VR experience!

The staff was courteous and answered all our questions when they walked us through how all things work. This place uses the VR in a neat way than the one I have I home. The play room has sensors that earn you in the game if you are too close to the walls. Then you can also Play a team game that you play against each mother which was the best. Many many games to select from. Easy to very hard. With either nothing to do or minimal movements too very intense. For all age groups as well. Fun place for sure. Two hours well spent!

Very slick, clean and organized place, great selection of games and the staff are wonderfully helpful. If you need help getting used to the equipment, they're there. If you just want to log in and do your thing, they give you space but will pop in on mic once in a while to make sure you're comfortable. The price is a little steep for me so I can't go as often as I"d like, but the two times I've been thus far have been a blast. I really think it's a great place to give VR a try if you've never played it before! One thing I wanted to stress is cleanliness. When you walk in, the smell reminded me of a hospital - which to me was great because that assures me that they keep the equipment clean and sanitized and I had no qualms about using it - I was completely at ease. They also have a pretty good referral and monthly membership program that gives you all sorts of discounts - I used mine to bring my sisters and everyone got 15% off which REALLY helped convince them to try it out, lol. All in all, a great place, come try it out!

Note - before entering the space you'll need to take off your shoes so you will be shoeless throughout the entire facility (including the communal washroom - which was an interesting experience lol but not the end of the world) The staff were really friendly and great at getting us all set up and explaining how the games work. They have a large selection of games to choose from. I definitely recommend going for at least an hour or more, especially if it's your first time, because we found that getting used to the mechanics and learning the games takes some time. Once we got into it we had a blast playing the games! Overall it was a really fun experience and we definitely want to come back again to try more games!

Location/service This place is in an industrial area, very…read moreaccessible off the highway. Easy to get to and to find with the signs. Lots of parking available. Inside is one single giant room. So you actually use up the entire space. I like how there's a couch if you have spectators wanting to see you play or take turns between sessions. Staff was very nice, informative and helped set everything up with ease. Experience Was invited to try out so decided to do 2 games that were coop based. Once is with zombies and another with aliens. Both were pretty fun and exciting. I like how you have to move around to experience everything and the graphics were pretty good and realistic. I also like the assistance from the staff to let us know what to do if we are stuck or give us clues so we can move forward. This place also has pvp options and competitive mode that adds more fun to the experience depending on what you like. Worthy to check out!

This game really shows you who's ready to SAVE you... and who's ready to SACRIFICE you immediately for the greater good We had the whole space to ourselves so we were literally running, screaming, and fighting for our lives with ZERO judgment The staff were so sweet. He geared us up, explained everything, AND even helped record our chaotic moments while we were out there "surviving." Wanna stay away from the cold but still want to have fun? Y'all should come here. Group activity? Yes. Date night idea? Even better. Impress your date, your friends, or yourself, and find out how good (or chaotic) you really are lol

The fun part is that there are no instructions so you have to figure it out on your own. Most rooms have QR codes that you can get hints. The cool part was that you had bracelets that can tap on the rooms to reserve and track points. There were some rooms that were super fun and some that were impossible to master. But, that's the fun in it! We had a blast with all the rooms. There's a cool bar area with pour drinks and bar food. Definitely highly recommend!

I love their drink station that serves alcohol. You pre-authorize a card with a payment method and away you go. It's an on-tap wall of an assortment of mixed drinks, coolers and beer. As you fill your cup, you can see the price increment of what you're pouring. You hang onto the card till you settle your tab. The staff mentioned that there is alcohol max that - should you reach it, you can go back to them to approve additional purchases (a way of controlling inebriation level I suppose). Very reasonable pricing and just fun to use. I could learn to love this self-bartending system. There is a sign that states if you lose the card, there's a $10 fee. So note to self, don't lose it or you might be buying for someone else and slapped with a fee. The rooms, which are the main event are fun. Some are somewhat challenging and some were less. All sorts of different types including physical and mental. Best to go with friends or a group of 4. There is a points objective for each room so the competitive drive of individuals may lead to a repeat of some rooms over and over until a score of 100 is achieved. It was really fun overall. Definitely a place to suggest to others and to consider for corporate team building outings.

None of the mechanisms work and the staff don't pay attention to manually start them either. So basically you'll solve a problem and wait around and wonder for 20 mins why nothings moving even if you got it right from the start. Then you have to ask for a clue (which they won't give, it'll just be a condescending phrase that tells you to do what you've already been doing.) then after fighting with them for five min they'll realize it's their fault and manually start it, wasting not just our time but our money. 30 dollars a person is just ridiculous for what this is. If you want more fun lock yourself in a dark closet for 30 min and try to get out, you'll probably feel more satisfied anyways. I will say that we did ignore all of the red flags 1. The bad reviews online 2. The two groups that came out super pissed off before us fighting for refunds cause nothing worked for them 3. How the place looked So kinda on us but... Did this for group bonding and I will say we did bond pretty well over how terrible this was and how much we got scammed, so maybe if you want team bonding then this works for you idk? Definitely tests your teams patience....

So many rooms to go through that it made the experience well worth it. My only criticism would be the staff. We didn't escape the room and only had one section left to get through. When the staff came in telling us we were out of time, the normal procedure would be to walk us through what we had left. Instead, the guy said he was unable to finish a walk through because the next group had arrived. It seemed that he was unwilling to walk us through the remaining aspects because if he did, then he'd have to reset all the puzzles... I've been to quite a few escape room locations and never has this happened before, even if the next group had arrived.. Overall the Osaka High room was pretty cool, but I only wish I knew how it ended.....

The arcade space here is massive featuring many games as well as an elevated rope course and several air hockey tables. We took advantage of the $20 eat up game on deal for kids to have a meal and 1 hr all-you-can-play which can be activated after the meal is eaten to maximize the fun including claw machines. Card fee is extra but can be recharged via a prior game card. There is a large dining space in addition to the party runs ideal for group gatherings. The kids meals were huge, including large pizza slices or burgers that came with fries and a pop drink. Suffice to say our group had a great time at Playdium Whitby for several hours. We miss the old batting diamond at the OG location but this reinvention with Cineplex targets younger kids. Skip it or hit it? Playdium is once again a great place to play and we're glad they're popping up all over the GTA including at this Whitby location.
