I really enjoy eating here and I've never had a bad meal. I love the variety of bloody Mary's. Prepare yourself for a short wait. All the food is really good. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. read more

One of the freshest, yummiest best breakfast we ever had, I could see why people waited for a table at this Cafe when other places had tons of open tables. Everything tasted so fresh! Large menu, tons of options, creative and great service, James was are waiter and awesome but many people working and fast service. We are only in Siesta Key 3 days but we may need to visit this place twice! read more

Save your money for what this place costs it is absolutely not worth the time, effort or money. I ordered a bloody Mary and was immediately disgusted when I had a rotten carrot and completely dried out rotten what appeared to be a lime garnish for my drink. For my meal, thank goodness I got the hollandaise sauce on the side because it was so tart it would've ruined my entire meal. I got the cheese on my potatoes and they couldn't have been more bland even with the cheese. My friend got a coffee drink and asked for a side of espresso to add more coffee flavor and after receiving it in a plastic dressing take-out cup we later found out that they actually don't have espresso even though that is what he asked for. The waitress made no mention of the fact that they didn't brew any espresso on site and that what he received wasn't actually a coffee. Waited a long time to try this place out and unfortunately have zero reason to return. There are too many other good places in the area worth trying. As someone that used to own a food establishment i don't take negative reviews lightly and went there based on the positive reviews and was completely disappointed. read more

Anna is the best. Super bubbly on a Monday brunch. Very accommodating and very welcoming. She was a great welcoming face to walk into on a busy wait. read more

Mega breakfasts, use Yelp App to get in the waitlist. We sauntered over and out our name in and we're surprised at the wait time, but even more pleasantly surprised when we were called up ahead of the quoted time. We ordered Chicken & Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy, a delicious Eggs Benedict and well it was all amazing. The servings were generous, the bacon was thick. Staff was working hard, extremely friendly and accommodating. OH and the potatoes were delish!!! Food photos didn't happen, but don't forget to use the Yelp Waitlist to get your tail in a seat fast! read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Somebody eles's amazing sand castle on Siesta Key Beach. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Siesta Key, Florida

This was a fantastic spot for breakfast. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly - from hostesses to wait staff. Food was great as was coffee. I highly recommend the grits as well as the blueberry lemon goat cheese pancakes. There was an amazing looking pound cake French toast but I didn't have the time to try that one. Outdoor dining on the deck was great but be sure to arrive early unless you have a reservation- they are pretty well full by 8/8:30am. The only thing about broken egg that was confusing was the dress code of the staff. Every service person was wearing heavy jeans and black t shirts despite 90+ degree weather and humidity. They were all super friendly but you can see people sweating and struggling in the heat rushing from table to table. I was surprised to learn they are not allowed to even wear linen pants in that climate (which would be a much more comfortable and still professional option given the setting). Hopefully this is an oversight from leadership and not a statement about a dis-compassionate stance on a hard working team's attire. read more

GLUTEN FREE pancakes!! That might say it all but I have so much more to say... this my favorite breakfast chain. This is the fourth location I have visited: Winter Park, Boca, Broward, and now Siesta Key They are all so good, I always try to make it in when I'm visiting. The lemon- blueberry goat cheese pancakes are my ultimate favorites! I always choose their sausage made in house from their own recipe. The bacon is good but I prefer that delicious sausage. My gluten-eating family ate some outrageous cinnamon roll French toast I also highly recommend. Their menu is extensive and I doubt you will go wrong ordering anything here. read more

A great place for breakfast. They have a wide variety of dishes and meals for breakfast and brunch. Portions are excellent and the people are great. Highly recommend this place on SARASOTA beach! I loved the Beignets that they give with each breakfast. The eggs were perfect. The bacon was as crispy as I like. The carrot pancakes were fantastic!! read more

Disappointed I did t take pictures beforehand... this place is so good. My husband and I both got the buttermilk pancakes. Let me tell you, you can TRUELY taste the buttermilk in them. So many places claim to have "buttermilk pancakes" but that flavor just isn't there. The maple chicken sausage was great as well. This is day 1 of vacation and we have 3 more breakfasts to go... we may have to come back every day. (If we do, I'll update with pictures ) Service was also great. Tables flip quickly so even though there was a wait to get in, it moved quickly. Highly recommend! read more

Anna O. provided great service. She made sure that our coffee and water was always full. The food was terrible. The potatoes were soft and chewy and the beignets were harder than rocks. If I were to return, I would only order the pancakes or a biscuit. read more

a great breakfast place in the siesta key area! I've been to several of their locations (tuscaloosa + Orlando) and this one did not disappoint either! I got the seasonal Napoleon Temptation - Stack of one buttermilk cake, French toast, Belgian waffle and cinnamon roll French toast topped with fresh berries, rum butter sauce and powdered sugar. Served with two over east eggs and baked bacon. To die for!! I loved every bite and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and not too rich. I wish the coffee was better but that would be my only minor complaint! read more

Wow, big fan of this place! We were driving to Siesta Key after spending the week in Sarasota. Since we wanted to get a nice, big breakfast/brunch, we decided to head to Another Broken Egg! And I'm glad we did! Everything was great. From the placement of our table outside on the patio, to the service and the food. I wouldn't have changed a thing! The bloody mary was spectacular and worth every penny IMO. Also, the brisket benedict off the limited-time specials was amazing! The best part, our sweet waitress brought us some on-the-house beignets to top it all off! (I wonder if she heard me say I was interested in the mini donut stand down the street haha). read more

This was right near where we were staying and we love a good breakfast. It's VERY popular so be prepared to wait a little bit. Once seated our waitress was quick to take our order and kept the coffee flowing. We both ordered omelettes that were big in portion but not too big. Food was tasty and hot. Recommend the home fries! Very casual ambiance. Bustling and busy. read more

Arrived with 3 tables seated on the patio, first greeting from server was with 12 tables filled and many that came after were greeted before myself. Perhaps a little picky but operation is not very effective this AM. Once my server arrived, she was friendly and apologetic. Ordered the vegetable omelet, fruit cup, English muffin and coffee. The meal was plentiful but omelet was flat so required, spice, hot sauce, something. Server did not return before I ate omelet so no hot sauce. Remainder of meal was good but I have been to better. Not bad, not great, but Goldilocks. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - 50 degrees at the beach. Love it - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Siesta Key, Florida

Start with 1/2 order of the beignets with powdered sugar and marmalade. I had the shrimp and grits which will last you about three days. Amazing flavor and texture. Never had grits so creamy before. And the cheese doesn't hurt. Also tried the crabcakes. Got the hollandaise sauce on the side because it is a bit much. Super rich. Immediately fell into a food coma. Had to walk it off. Worth every calorie. Come and get it! read more

I have always driven by this location and finally my husband and I decided to try it out. What a cute restaurant, it's right in the village, which is great as they are a few steps away from the beach (entrance 2)! I started off with a cucumber bloody Mary! Yes yes, you read that right, it was delicious and refreshing all in once! The lobster eggs were mouth watering but be ready to waddle your self to the beach or a nice long nap after that ;) my husband got the Benedict burger and it was juicy and mouth watering - I had a bite and def wanted more of his!!! Overall, it was a great spot with some good food and drinks!!! read more

The best breakfast place in Siesta Key! Definitely recommend this place. First time in Sarasota and wish I would this place on my first day of the trip. Ohhh so good! I did not realize this was a chain restaurant, it has such a small town small business vibe that I just would have never guessed. In a way it actually makes me happy, more chances of bumping into one of these little gems! He secretly ordered beignets when I went inside to use the restroom. The beignets I am used to are light and fluffy, akin to say Italian zeppoli's - these were kindof thick and dense, they almost reminded me of biscuit batter. Either way, even if the consistency threw me off, their texture and flavor paired with the orange preserves they were served with actually worked really well. I liked them, but they were more filling than anticipated. I had a tough time deciding which breakfast to order, the bananas foster pancakes, the Floridian omelette, salmon avocado toast.. crab cake benedict, Hey Lucy chorizo omelette.. so many good sounding choices! The Floridian omelette won the internal battle - it's a cream cheese omelette topped with garlic butter sauteed crab meat, jack cheese and green onions. To say it was great is truly an understatement. The potatoes are the homefries (fried) kind, crunchy and fine, but nothing super exciting. On another note, perhaps strange - their ceramic mugs in which they serve their coffee are great. They are beautifully crafted and of a nice thickness and weight. We bought one.. they are available for purchase in many colors behind the counter. read more

OH MAN. Yummy yummy! Another Broken Egg is a must when on Siesta Key! The menu has so many delightful dishes and boozy iced cold brew? Sure! Amazing food!! Will definitely return as soon as possible. Restaurant was clean and friendly atmosphere!

Great breakfast place. Lots of food. A little pricey, but the food was outstanding!

We're locals and love the vibe here. We usually walk the beach and then stop for breakfast. Always friendly staff. Food is usually good. It was great today! We will always come here. Question for the management, why does the staff have to wear long jeans? It's crazy! It's a beach place, no need for jeans, shorts would be so much better. Today, at 9am the heat index was 100 degrees. I was sweating with shorts and a t-shirt so I know that for the staff it must be unbearable. Also, two of the outside fans were not working. Please rethink the dress code for your staff. I was not the only customer wondering about this. read more

I usually avoid chains like the plague. However, what a pleasant surprise!! The food was good and the cucumber bloody Mary was excellent!!! The Bloody Mary mix was homemade and so much better than anything I've had. Coffee was good and the cups were amazing. My only complaint: the potatoes needed a ton of salt. Bland. Luckily, they had sea salt on the table to kick it up. Worth the visit! read more

Excellent breakfast. Reasonably priced for Siesta Key. Very diverse menu for breakfast. Totally enjoyed. Only reason it has four stars for me is we were there on a Tuesday at 11 AM and had to wait almost an hour plus the service is somewhat slow. Would still highly recommend though. read more

My breakfast was very tasty. I requested a substitute cheese on my omelette and there was no problem!! Food and service was great.

This is my all time favorite brunch in Siesta Key! From the friendly attentive wait staff, to the seasonal specialties on the menu, will NOT disappoint! A great place to get together with family and friends for the most delicious breakfast and don't forget the Strawberry Nectar Mimosas! Be sure to get on the waitlist online before going to avoid long waits. The checkin system is so convenient and gives you estimates to keep the little ones appetites covered! You must hit this place at least once in your Sarasota plans! I'll bet it will then be your favorite whenever you come to town! read more

Overall had an okay experience. Could've been better. My order was incorrectly made and I asked for an additional item which was forgotten to be put onto my meal. Maybe I screwed up when I ordered but the server didn't repeat the order to us before submitting to the kitchen. However, I enjoyed the andouille sausage and grits. The huevos ranchero was very tasty as well. I'd come back to give it another shot. The location is great. read more

Great food, service is always fantastic, get the pancakes, so good! Parking is so much better than years in the past! Thank you valet!

Visited 03/25/2019 Stopped by for a little 'brunch'. We love this franchise since we ate at the one in Charleston, SC a few years ago. Great bloody Mary's... great egg breakfast options and good coffee... what else do you need to know. My wife ordered a crab Benedict, while I had a smoked salmon (lox) Benedict. Both were very very good... the poached eggs done just right. (Not too runny... not too firm.) Service was friendly and prompt... with a smile. Probably going to the one in Charleston on the way back to NJ this weekend. read more

We visited the same restaurant in Tennessee and wanted to try it again because we remembered it was delicious. Siesta key was even better than we remembered. The coffee was delicious the pancake trio I chose with berry pancake lemon curd blueberry goat cheese pancake and bananas foster pancake was divine. The beignets were also very good. A tip I wish I knew was that you can add yourself to the waitlist on yelp and save a lot of time. We waited a little over an hour on Sunday morning for breakfast. read more
