I visited this store on my birthday this past Saturday. I have been on a strict diet for three months and I wanted to cut loose for breakfast with my family. I wanted French Toast for a month. The service and the food was good I really enjoyed it. The only problem I have with the store is the health rating. The store scored below 90. I have a rule not to go back to a restaurant if they have a score below 90. My wife loves the restaurant but was hurt to have one so close to the house with out a good score. read more

Nice place with a larger set of options than your typical breakfast place. The portions are "man sufficient". The French toast breakfast... I couldn't finish it. The grits always get cold fast at a typical diner but this place serves them in a kind of fancy ceramic mug to avoid quick cooking. The bacon was nice and large/thick. As well, it was baked which made me feel better about stuffing myself. The waitress was attentive with the coffee. There were several guys at the bar watching some next morning college football recap on the big screen tv. If you're into Bloody Mary and mimosas (I don't know the draw personally) they seemed to have a lengthy list of options. You can buy their cool mugs for approximately $20. They look cool. I recommend this place as a fancier more expensive option to Blue Plate Cafe. read more

I LOVE breakfast! And, I travel to different parts of the US. So, I get to visit many breakfast restaurants. There are more and more each time I visit a new city. I gotta say, this place is great! The service was above and beyond. The food is plated well and scrumptious. It's not too expensive and they don't skimp on the portions. I have tried the seasonal and the norm, both are delicious and filling. This location takes their customer experience seriously! The manager, Richard Guillen, greets you with respect and is very open. His staff seems to have a good relationship with him and they truly try to start your day on a positive note. Visiting from out of town this was close and had good ratings. Well deserved. The food was good (Hard to mess up breakfast food). We had the vegetarian omelette and a customized omelette as well as a waffle. Ingredients were fresh and I recommend the biscuit. Service was excellent. We had Susan as our server. She was very pleasant, friendly, and most importantly to me when it comes to service, attentive. We sat outside so she had all the tables there and it was apparent that we all arrived within minutes of each other but she managed to juggle all the tables and be just as attentive to everyone. She made sure my coffee and water were constantly full. Atmosphere was nice. The weather was perfect for dining outside. If I lived here I would be a repeat customer for sure. I've been here about 4 times so far, always fairly early in the morning. Standard traditional breakfast food but also a good variety that keeps the menu fresh. Definitely a nice change from the typical heavy southern or greasy spoon diners that overrun the area. Atmosphere is nice and casual and the staff have always only ever been pleasant. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful every experience has been in Another Broken Egg Cafe. This is the third location I've been to and have enjoyed all of them. I've been to the one in Destin, Fl, Atlanta, Ga, and here. This was our 4th or 5th trip to this particular location. Every time we are in town to visit family we have to make a stop. I will generally try something new but have stuck with Bananas Foster French toast and Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict. The service is ALWAYS top notch. The atmosphere is lively and fun. If going on the weekend, I recommend going before 930. I cannot overstate how absolutely tasty and satisfying the food is. read more

It was yummy had great flavor for all the items our party had. Coffee good - could be stronger but nice middle of line flavor the place is nice inside a good place to bs with friends family and have a pretty good meal. Don't bother calling ahead, young man informed us that's not actually how they queue the waitlist (and then proceeded to accommodate 2 people on the "waitlist"). Aside from that part of the frustration, food was above average , pancakes a bit dry, and wait staff was working hard but not very attentive--we were after the rush, assuming they were doing other punch out lists to close up. Overall super average. The downtown location was a much better experience. Probably won't go back to be honest. read more

Weekend get away in Huntsville, this place caught our attention I am glad it did!! Sarah was excellent with suggestions and keeping up with our needs. Food was very good, I had the Huevo Rancheros, with chorizo, wife had Blackberry stuffed french toast. Food was over the top, portions are overwhelming. The only thing I'd say that I wasn't a fan of was the fact that the waitress didn't want to serve drinks to one of our party because they didn't have their ID, but had a clear, CURRENT photo of their ID (not expired) on their phone. Great place to come for a casual brunch with your girl friends! I had the granola, fruit & quinoa power bowl and it was really filling!! Perfect option for someone with a sensitive stomach like me. They also had a seasonal menu which is fun for the holiday season. There was a Kenya AA coffee pancake which is what my friend got. I've eaten here a couple of times and it's been okay. This weekend I tried ordering To-Go from them. I am currently waiting on the results of a COVID test and didn't want to come inside and risk possibly infecting others. I called twice and no one answered, it was a Sunday so i'm sure they were busy but when i finally did get someone on the phone they were very rude and laughed at the fact that i had been trying to place an order for 20 minutes. I placed my order and called for curbside when i arrived. I waited outside for 10+ minutes. No one ever came out with my food, so i left and placed an order at the location on Pelham. I'm glad I did because the service there is so much better. I've dined in at the 72 location and even though it's closer to my house, I will not be visiting the Highway 72 location again. My first time here. I've tried to go on Sundays which isn't a good idea because it's ALWAYS packed. When I did a few weeks back on a Sunday, the hostess was so rude, didn't greet me, nor make eye contact with me and asked how many was w me, then said " hour and 45". Hour and 45. Ok cool. Her presence alone made me not even want to go back, but on a whim today we did. We got there at 11:00 and it wasn't busy, but you could tell they were shortstaffed( also in the kitchen) the hostess was nice this time, a different girl, very sweet with cool red hair. Anyway! Needless to say the food is very mediocre. Lacked flavor and season. We waiting just as long for our check, as our food. Our server seemed overwhelmed almost as if he forgot about us . My friends and I went here for brunch today and had the best experience. First off, the food was so good. We got the chicken and waffles and also the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, and both were delicious. They also had the friendliest staff there. My daughter and I met here for brunch today. We ordered drinks and beignets and were talking for a minute. She had just mentioned that she wasn't that hungry and really not feeling well. We ordered breakfast and almost immediately I saw her face change and she asked if we could leave. I called a waiter over and asked for the bill as she went to the restroom. I believe it was the manager who came over as I prepared to pay and told us to not worry about the bill. It was all handled gracefully and discreetly. However, the wait is often somewhat long and 4/5 times i've been there it has taken 30+ minutes to actually get the food even if there aren't many people there.
