Small (12 oz) crème brew lait latte - $6.25
    Bailey B.

3.5/5. I'm a sucker for drive through coffee shacks and I was in the neighborhood, so I swung through and grabbed a drink even though I'd just had dessert. This new drive through is on the corner of Wall Triana and Gillespie. There are two drive through lines. I did find that if you're trying to exit either of the drive through lines and you're turning left, against the flow of traffic, it seems especially difficult, so be careful. Not really their fault, just something to keep in mind. It's a cute little shack and I found the wait time to be reasonable. Staff were abuzz inside and on top of their work - one staff member took my order and went to prepare it and another opened the window a minute or two later just to make sure someone had taken care of me. The menu is fairly simplistic but has all the standard varieties of coffee creations, from americanos to cortados. They also do a couple of smoothies, chai, and hot chocolate. For food, they have croissant sandwiches, muffins, and bagels. I'm someone who likes a lot of syrups/flavorings in my coffee, and I generally prefer it when shops create combinations that work for me, rather than leaving it up to me -- I always feel like I'll make an icky combination. This shop does have a large list of available syrups, but only a couple of pre-crafted drinks: their crème brew lait latte and a strawberry something-or-other for Valentine's Day. I chose the former as I don't really like strawberries + chocolate or coffee. It was alright. The drink had a rich, nutty flavor and a decent level of sweetness. It usually comes with whipped cream but I chose to not take it that way this time. I was a little disappointed because I didn't get the chocolate covered espresso bean everyone in other reviews spoke about. I got it with 2% rather than whole milk; I wonder if that contributed some to the slightly over-thick texture of the drink. It was also a little gritty in some sips. My other note is that I do feel it was expensive. A 12 oz was $6.25. A 16oz of a very similar drink at my fave drive through shack is $5.50. The other drinks here (eg, mocha, a latte with only one syrup, etc) are at a slightly lower price point but still comparably higher. Still, it's nice to support local and I have certainly had much worse coffee. I'm rarely in this area, but if you find yourself around here and craving a coffee, this place is worth a try. Everyone has very different preferences when it comes to coffee, and I can definitely see this place being a perfect fit for someone.

I looked at several "coffee" shops in the Madison area and they were very disappointing to say the least. They felt more like breakfast cafes that served coffee and that's NOT THE SAME THING as a coffee shop. THIS PLACE IS A REAL COFFEE SHOP with a wonderful cold brew. Very simple menu. You don't have to ask for light ice as they don't fill with cup with it anyways. *BOUNUS POINTS* Im from out of town and really enjoyed this place. I get so tired of Starbucks and if you're the same way and would like to switch it up, this is an amazing little drive thru coffee shop!

I drove to Madison just to enjoy their yummy drinks! Once I ordered, they gave me a flavored coffee bean and it was gobbled up immediately! Emily, The Owner, is so awesome and her staff love their customers. I'll be back!!! Dr. Denise Y. Mose

The BEST coffee and matcha around! Couple that with the multitude of flavors they have for syrups.. I'm sold. The sweet worker had the best attitude and was so knowledgeable and friendly. There are two drive thru windows. We can't wait to come back!!

I've been missing their yummy products for a while; before they went brick and mortar, I was only ever able to catch them on Thursdays off University Drive, and they stopped doing that a few months prior to launching their full store. The full store is way out in Madison, which is pretty far out of the way for me, so it's been a long time since I last had any of their drinks. Luckily, I was passing through Madison about a week or two ago and had the time to stop in to see their new spot. It's really not far at all from where they'd park the trailer during their days in Madison; find it in the same shopping center as 2nd and Charles. Ample parking is available. Inside, you'll find a very adorably decorated, cozy, instagrammable boba shop. They have a loooot of drink choices (milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, etc), lots of types of boba, and their newest addition: soft serve ice cream! The ice cream comes in a lot of flavors that are pretty unique to this area: taro, Thai tea, mango, green tea, etc. Exact flavors vary from day to day but they have a small freezer with cups full you can also order. They also have a selection of fun snacks like Calbee chips, spicy rice crackers, and Pocky. I feel lucky we have two fabulous dedicated boba spots in the Huntsville area. ShakeiT Boba is my preferred spot if you want a more dessert or coffee-centric boba drink. Their Thai milk tea and their S'mores milk tea are delightful treats, although my most common order is a brown sugar or Thai coffee with coffee jelly. So so good and a great caffeine/happiness/energy boost! Their cups are gorgeous and the decorations and merch are so fun. I've noticed lots of familiar staff faces over the years too. I think it's a good sign that they can retain employees. And of course the family who owns the place is also often working hard behind the counter. :) Give this lovely business a try when you get the chance!

I walked in a little past 1pm, having studied the chalkboard outside with a delightful-sounding selection of spring specials. As I'm ordering, the barista and I alike see another group walk in. And another. And another-- I'm not seeing anyone else in the rather small physical establishment, and as a former barista am beginning to sweat a bit for this Greenroom employee and all of the orders he is about to have to deal with, seemingly by himself (cue the cheerful chime announcing more customers, and more customers). As I wait for my order, grateful to be the first in this long line, I sit to casually read a book and take my opportunity to observe my fellow patrons of this fine little spot. I hear the barista asking customers if they're okay with waiting, and he begins to ask customers if they're okay with waiting a minute for their orders. I'm content, as I have no urgent arrangements, and the now plastic-gloved barista comes up to me, informing me that they have no lime to garnish the avocado toast I've ordered and asking if that was okay. I assert as much and he returns to the line; I think to myself that he could have saved the time and not told me and I wouldn't have known the difference, but I'm pleased with his attention to detail. I get my to-go box of avocado toast with an egg and am pleased to open it and try a bite. I feel that it could have done with red pepper flakes (my favorite), but the everything bagel seasoning added a nice texture and the overall flavor profile was delightfully savory. As for my drink, which came later, it was the Good Riddance: a vanilla cold brew with lime pie cold foam (which lived up to the name tremendously). It also had what I believe to be graham cracker or pie crust crumbles on the top that were delightful! The drink was delicious and perfect for the spring weather. I sit upstairs as I always do, but specifically on the patio where I can see all of MidCity and the surrounding businesses. There's nonintrusive and enjoyable music presumably coming from the Camp itself? After an hour or so of enjoying my spoils, I return to the counter below to see if the barista is still there now that the rush is over. He is now accompanied by another coworker, blessedly, and I learn that his name is Caleb. We chat for a few moments and I introduce myself before leaving, but not before taking another picture of all the event calendars for the week and month. Now I'm positively fueled for my afternoon and grateful for the relaxed atmosphere. (Thanks for reading this far if you did, and shoutout again to Caleb for doing his job tremendously! He informed me that he enjoys a good rush of customers, and I replied that I would have cried to have been in the situation that he handled with great poise and dedication. The great service alongside the excellent product left me wanting to return quickly!)

It's in the Research Park area, not too far off from University Drive. It's tucked away a little bit, next to the new Viet Crispwich restaurant, but on the bright side there's plentiful parking. The vibes are pretty much immaculate here. Bright, cheerful, airy, but also private if you need -- there are several reclusive booths covered by archways, a perfect hidden away spot to work on a laptop or something. They have cute merchandise and even dedicated items and areas to keep little ones entertained. There's seating indoors and a couple of patio tables and chairs outside too. Service was pleasant enough. We didn't chat much but I was greeted and smiled at and my beverage was ready in a timely manner, so that's all you really need. The menu has coffee classics and then a few seasonal specials. There's matcha too, at least currently. There are supposed to be some baked goods for snackage, but when I visited at about 10:30 on Monday, they only had a few cookies and a brownie. I was hoping for something more in the realm of banana bread or a muffin, but they were wiped out. Maybe Monday is a restock day. They're only open til 2 PM, so definitely a morning/early afternoon hangout only. I got an iced salted caramel latte to go, and I enjoyed it well enough. To me, I really didn't taste any salted caramel, but it was a good iced latte: rich, smooth, almost buttery, and not too bitter. Not as sweet as I'd like but that's often the case with what I consider more "serious" coffee places like this one. If you enjoy coffee, I think you'll like this coffee. It was certainly strong coffee, cause my husband said it was basically emanating off me when I got home. lol. Give them a try and don't forget to take a cute picture with their gorgeous mural! I'll likely return in the future.

We gave the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe the staff had been asked for the same item multiple times or something but when it was our turn they seemed so annoyed and like they couldn't be bothered at all. The inside of the place is beautiful though and the little booths seemed cozy. Maybe it was just one of those days and we got unlucky but I wouldn't make the trip again.
