By far THE best Indian grocery store in Missouri City. Great selection, delicious cooked dinners and very helpful, friendly staff.

On Feb 19th, I bought ground sirloin and salmon from HEB Sugar Land (it shows as store #627 on my…read morebank statement). Went to cook them today, and both were spoiled. This is the third time I've bought protein that was spoiled, from this location. The ground sirloin looked perfectly red on the outside but the inside was completely gray. The same thing happened with a package of ground chuck I previously purchased at this location. The salmon looked fine, wasn't slimy, and didn't smell while it was raw. But as it cooked, it smelled weird. I finished cooking it and (reluctantly) tried it, and it tasted just as weird as it smelled. I tossed both in the trash and called for a refund, which I can't get until I go back into the store

I love this place but man, it gets expensive! I usually come here for seafood, wic, and things on…read moresale you can't pass up. Shopping here for wic is way easier than anywhere else. I do have a complaint, buying live Crawfish! Culturally I need the owners and seafood department to understand crawfish. They should not be sitting out on a dolly until they're purchased! They need to be cooled so they can " sleep " until they're cleaned and boiled. I bought 10 pounds of live crawfish yesterday and every 3rd of them tasted like death. When that happens it's because they were dead before being boiled. Literally, they're inedible. Now I know they can't keep every single one alive, but what they can do is store them properly to prevent customers from buying dead ones. When you buy a sack you should expect 1-2 pounds to be dead and you take those out but for me to buy 1/3 of a sack and still get 1-2 pounds of dead ones are ridiculous. That's $5-12 I wasted. This wasn't the first time either. One time I got 7 pounds and I literally had about 2 pounds of dead ones in a grocery bag I wanted to bring back to the store to show them why it's important to store them properly but who has time to do all of that when I literally just dealt with the whole process of boiling crawfish.. they can't tell how long the customer will take to boil them , usually hours after purchasing them. please for the crawfish sake put them in the cooler so they can stay alive.. for reference , Louisiana does crawfish Texas does bbq, imagine me putting a brisket in the oven and baking it like any other piece of meat and advertising is as if I smoked it.. culturally it's wrong! Or if I boiled ribs before bbq'n them and acting like it's not a problem.. to each its own but truly to leave the crawfish out in the open waiting for people to buy them is a crime. Especially when people who aren't crawfish folk aren't just going to look and be like " yea, let me get whatever that is " people usually think " I want crawfish " and look around to make sure they're there before going to buy them.. it's for certain people know you have crawfish already you don't need them brown and ugly on a dolly to be sold * drop *

I came in earlier today to buy groceries and paid in cash and left without my receipt and the HEB gift card I purchased. When I realized I was without these two, I immediately retuned to the store. There were 1000 ppl in there and this one unpaid actor who was signing Christmas Carols at the absolute top of his lungs. In the midst of it all, they were patient with me as I couldn't remember what register I was checked out on and/or who rang me up!! But they took the time to help me out and we found the card! It was left at the register lol. Thank you all for the amazing customer service you all provided during such a crazy time!!

I trust their standards, especially when I'm trying to avoid unnecessary additives and preservatives. I'm a very loyal customer to their bakery, especially for special occasions like birthdays. Their Chantilly cake is hands down the best cake I've ever tried, and it's what I always come back for when celebrating. The bakery alone keeps me coming back, and I always rely on them for cakes. I also love their bread. It does expire faster, but that's actually a good thing since it has minimal ingredients. I just pop it in the freezer and take it out when needed and it tastes exactly the same. The quality is great, and the bread is pretty affordable for how clean the ingredient list is. The ambience is great and honestly one of my favorite parts of shopping here. The store feels clean, calm, and enjoyable to walk through, which makes the experience better overall. Service can be okay. Most of the time it's fine, but occasionally the cashiers near the beverage area can come off a bit rude. It's not a huge issue and hasn't stopped me from shopping here. Yes, it can be expensive if you grab the wrong items, but the 365 brand is usually much more affordable and still great quality. Overall, I really love shopping here and keep coming back for the quality, bakery, and atmosphere.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.

On top of that, shops seem to be renovating or popping up almost every month, so it feels like a new experience each time we visit. So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. Everything here was light and bright and it smelled clean. Would I come back? Only if I'm in town. Next time I'll bring a big cooler.
