I received an upcharged service that was not what I booked. When I got my acrylic nails removed by a trusted nail tech today it came to my attention that this salon uses MMA as acrylic bonder instead of EMA. My nails were cut extremely short and I was left with "rings of fire" on most of my nails due to over filing with an E-file. I would have never seen this if I chose to keep these nails on. Came here with my bridal party the day before my wedding. I was able to make an appointment for 7 women with manis + pedis all within 2 hours! We all got seated together and were even able to bring snacks inside to share while getting our nails done. All of us loved our nails - we are all relatively new to getting our nails done so had lots of questions and everyone here was great to help pick out colors and make suggestions for specific manicure types to get. For starters, they were a bit busy, i'll give em that. And they got me in. But, i got a pedicure that included sugar scrub, callus removal and hot rocks. Lets just say with all of that in a pedicure, INCLUDING the nail color needing to be done it should not be done in 25 minutes... The lady Penny rushed the whole time. We had an appointment schedule for 1pm and we waited almost 40 minutes for two acrylic sets. The male worker at the front desk was very hostile and rude. Rushed me picking a color but couldn't get me in for 20 more minutes. Could of scheduled the appointments for a later time. Then the male worker doing the set, made them crooked and continued to question my length of nails. Told me he was charging extra for extensions when that is the service I said I was getting. Kept yanking my hand and cut my skin open. Then my friends nail color was red when she picked out orange. Would not recommend at all. Very harsh and refusing to listen to what you want. After the reviews I thought I would give it a try, the older guy was extremely rude the first time I went there and seem to just pass me on and not care. 2 of my nails broke 3 days later and I had called a couple days later to get it fixed as I was busy. Take in mind I am willing to pay for my nails to get fixed. However, when I got there they were once again rude the older Asian guy again as I said I had an appointment to get my nails fixed as they broke he rolled his eyes and started speaking another language to the older lady with the bad eyebrows. I had the worst experience here- This is the 3rd time I've been here and they lived up to their standards again. The first 2 times I came I left after sitting there for 20 minutes... the man who did my nails was so rude! He barely greeted me- When he asked my color I had forgotten and he rolled his eyes at me. It then turned out the number I choose for my color was correct and rolled his eyes at me again. He reeked if cigarettes. I wish I had asked for a new tech right away because the smell made me sick the entire night. He then put lotion on my hands after he just finished smoking so my hands smelled like cigarette smoke. Several of my fingers are cut as he kept filing my skin- he also glued his finger to mine and first tried to cut it off my skin then filed that off. My hands and fingers shouldn't hurt after a manicure. He had zero customer service skills- was actually hostile and super rude! I don't think he smiled once. I will NEVER be back here again. I am not once to typically complain but this warrants it. I actually left him a tip but truly not deserved. read more

Here at the salon if we are told gel nails we think you mean gel nail polish or shellac. Most of our fake nail clients would like us to do the acrylic nails under and shellac (gel) color over the top; To save you the customer money. We can offer Liquid Gel nails but please understand this can be expensive. It starts at $60. If you decide to give us another chance I now know what you mean and going forward I will make sure to ask do you mean liquid gel nails or gel nail polish. read more

This is hands down the best nail salon in Appleton. I am very picky with my nails and have very sensitive fingers. Every experience at Annie time has been positive. Everytime I come in I'm greeted by name and she remembers a lot of the conversations we have had. Not only does Annie genuinely care about doing nails, she also cares about her clients. I've even brought by 2 and 5 yr old in for manicures and her staff were all extremely patient and kind with them. I would and I do recommend Annie time nails to anyone and everyone regardless of age. I loved this place because they are clean and friendly, and punctual. I had a few pedicures done there and they always did a nice job. However, I will not be returning as I wanted a gel manicure and after not being able to have fake nails due to my job for the last 3 years, I was really excited about having my fake nails again. I went in for a gel manicure. I wanted gel nails, not acrylic. I did a little research as I haven't had my nails done in a while. I had gel nails years ago and loved them, so I know a little bit of what goes on, and on youtube they specifically say that your stylist should NOT apply acrylics when you are having gel nails done. Apparently this is a common thing nail salons do to make extra money without using more expensive material. Well as soon as I sat down, she started the buffing process and put on acrylics. I stopped her and asked why she was putting on acrylics. She claimed that the gel is the polish that goes on top. So essentially they charge an extra $15 to put gel polish on top of acrylic nails NOT gel nails themselves. I just am not an argumentative person in general, and since the damage was already done, I let her finish and paid my dues and left. So great place and they do good work, their end product looks great, but like I said, I won't be going there because they won't offer you the service that you are paying for with gel nails. After my last appointment, I will not be back. Due to a busy calendar, it had been six weeks since my last pedicure, instead of my usual four weeks. During my pedicure the technician complained loudly over the state of my feet and chastised me for letting too much time go between visits. After I acknowledged that I too preferred coming in more often, she still did not stop complaining. I've been going to this nail salon for over a year. They do a great job, the place is clean and Annie is very sweet and dedicated. I would give them 5 stars hands down but unfortunately there's a male technician who has ruined a couple of my experiences there. He's very rude and does a poor job. You can tell he hates his job and customers. I don't remember his name but I'll try to find out and update my review. You can recognize him for his cigarette stench and his unfriendly manners. My nails looked old right away, with unfinished spots. Last time I got him he kept asking if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure. I must've said "no thanks, just regular" at least 5 times. He still gave me some extra treatments and charged me for it. When Annie found out she adjusted my total and yelled at him, which I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy. Just to be clear, there's another two male technicians, one young and one older. They are nice and do a great job. All the ladies are very good. I always go home feeling great about my nails. My mom called to make us appointments for mani/pedis for the one day she took off of work to spend time with me. She called a couple days in advance to make the appointment for that day, Annie even repeated the day and time back to her. We showed up for our appointment and Annie had it down for the wrong day. The only thing she offered us was to come back in 45 min - that's not how I wanted to spend my time with my mother (running back and forth to their shop). Very disappointed and won't be back. Not a great salon.. my daughter and I had pedicures on12/29/18, they literally spent about 4 minutes actually doing the pedicure then they charge an extra $5 to "smooth" the bottom of your foot. Other salons it's included in the price. No foot and leg massage like other salons. Very disappointed.. read more
