The cool thing about this salon is there are two different areas for manicures and pedicures. The bright area is where the manicures took place. The dimmed area in the back are for the pedicures. I haven't experienced this before but I thought it was nice and relaxing to have the lights dimmed. We opted in for the deluxe pedicure and I felt like they spent a good amount of time massaging our legs and feet. The chairs also had the massage feature which I always love. When she was scrubbing my heels (which badly need it from a summer of no shoes and sandals) it was a quick job and didn't get off nearly what she should have. My nails ended up so thick, not natural looking at all. The entire place needs a makever and a thorough cleaning. Very visible dust on the clocks and faded art on the walls. The smocks all the techs wear need to be washed or replaced. Dirty. And yes, the language barrier with most of the techs makes trying to explain concerns fruitless.
