I did order a baklava to go and rather than utilizing honey it appears they use a brown sugar syrup instead which does make the texture a little bit mushy. In all I would eat here again.

Homemade ranch was really good. Mike had the steak tips which someone has falsely told Grace that they are tenderloin trimmings. They are in fact tough sirloin cut into random pieces that were not cooked medium rare but rather medium well to well done. The potato was freshly baked but we aren't fans of foil wrapped baked potatoes as the skin is basically boiled. Props for the freshly grated cheese. I had the etoufee. The crawfish did not taste muddy but that is the only positive thing I can say about it. The flavor was mediocre at best and the trinity was still crunchy. A decent amount of crawfish tails. The glass doors as you walk in need to be cleaned and the rug as you enter looks like it could use a good shaking out. I had to use the light on my phone to read the dark gray menu. It just so happens that I was in New Orleans a few months ago and partook of same at that time. So this will be a direct comparison to Felix's. Bar has a nice setup with a couple TVs showing live sports, but no sound. I was able to connect my phone to get the sound via the Tunity app. Bartender was knowledgeable and easy going. I started with the gumbo and the oysters were served while I was about halfway through the bowl. The gumbo was pretty good and I would definitely get it again. The oysters were super hot and I actually had to wait a few moments before starting in on them. The chargrilled oysters were very good and if I had not had them in New Orleans I would have been most pleased. Of course, these were not as good as Felix's.
