" Oh Yum , Don't sleep on this location : Hispanic Heaven in a bowl or burrito ! " So this location has it all but no parking . Place is super clean , staff is friendly and happy , and the food is not good but " great ". It's on Brookline ave , Longwood area . Don't sleep on this place . I was snoozing since I drove by many times and didn't notice it . It's also in front of the longwood food court , so I didn't bother looking around for more food places. When you have a whole " court of food " why would you . Anyhow I am " woke " and I recommend this place ! I can still taste my mouth watering meal I ordered , today . Of rice , steak , avocado , black beans and pico de gallo, oh and corn. Yum ! Yum ! This place is just everything! I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy this Hispanic food . I am Hispanic and I also cook Hispanic food . And this my friend is excellent . Just thought I would add my two cents or as many as I can ! When I love something I want everyone to enjoy it as well !

Growing up in Massachusetts in the 90s, the only "taqueria" was fast food and on par in quality with any other style of food that a high schooler might hand you through a window while sitting in your car. In my 20s I moved to California where a burrito can certainly be of the caliber of cuisine that warrants a cloth napkin, astute waiter, and warrant a hefty tip. Anna's hews towards the California quality and would be middle of the road establishment. The burrito I enjoyed had real guacamole, well seasoned carnitas, beans & rice cooked in the style I was accustomed to in the Mission of SF or most anywhere in LA. It was the best burrito I've ever had in Massachusetts, parallel to a joint worthy of the west coast.

Disgusting. Carnitas was all fat/gristle and cold. Inedible bowl. Anna's used to be great but it has gone straight downhill.

We walked in without reservations and they were fully booked for the night, but they do have bar seating and a couple of side tables where you can grab a quick bite from the full menu. The ambiance is a 10/10. The decor is insane in the best way. The red chandeliers are stunning, the bar setup is perfection, and the low lighting with the table centerpieces really ties everything together. Even the bathrooms were insanely beautiful which is crazy to say but it stood out. It's rare to find restrooms that are that clean and well-designed. The drinks were great. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I got, but it had red sugar on the rim and it perfectly matched the whole aesthetic of the restaurant. For food, I got the steak taco and the fish taco and both were delicious. We were just stopping by for a quick bite before heading to the movies , but I really wish we could have stayed for a full meal because everything was amazing. Hopefully we'll get the chance to come back again one day.

I had been craving fish tacos for a really long time, and I was delighted to find a whole section of the menu dedicated to them. We started off with margaritas - one of the best companions to fish tacos - and I ordered mine spicy with jalapeño. For food, we shared the lobster empanadas and chorizo and potato taquitos. I ordered the tempura fish tacos for myself. Our margaritas were brought out shortly - mine was refreshing but lacked the kick from the jalapeño that I was hoping for (there was only one thin slice of pepper). Our food was brought out shortly, and I found it a bit overwhelming when our appetizers and tacos came out together. I started with my tacos, and these were excellent. The fish was flaky and fried to perfection, and I loved the rainbow of sauces and toppings. Plus, the tortillas were nice and sturdy and didn't tear. The lobster empanadas were super decadent, and I appreciated the substantial amount of lobster stuffed inside. I was too full to eat much of the taquitos but took a few bites. These also had good flavor but weren't standouts. Next time, I'd just get the tacos and maybe a light app. Towards the end of our visit, the restaurant seemed to clear out, and we had a difficult time trying to locate our server for the bill. Overall, we had a nice meal and satisfied the fish taco craving.

The Seaport space is just as stunning--decked out in pink, super aesthetic, and definitely a fun, photo-worthy vibe. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. For drinks, I ordered a pitcher margarita with jalapeño, and it was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and came across more like artificial jalapeño flavoring rather than real infusion--and it wasn't spicy at all. For food, we ordered a variety of small plates to share. Everything was decent, but nothing really stood out. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the atmosphere. The biggest issue was the service. It was very slow throughout the night, and getting the check was especially frustrating--it took about 30 minutes, and we had to ask multiple times before finally receiving it. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a celebration, but the drinks and service didn't match the vibe. Hoping this was just an off night.

Now a lot of the places off Newbury are tourist traps, but this one? Definitely a local favourite! Pro tip: always make reservations. This place books up fast! I actually had to call in when I didn't see any online and they were happy to accommodate. The place inside is tight as they try to fit as many people as they can. The service is very nice and fast, always checking in on you. Love it. Now the food. Everything is shareable tapas style. Don't be uncultured and get your own, order to share. Patatas bravas is the elite tapas. A classic, so always order it. The steak tacos with the different salsa is another superb option. Not pictured is the bone marrow tacos I got, so delicious I forgot to take a photo. Grilled octopus was also very savoury. We threw in a beet carpaccio to have some vegetables to balance the protein. Date night? Girls night? Random food cravings? This place checks all the boxes. This is a place I will keep coming back to. Worth the trip to Newbury.

It is a cute spot, but just a heads up that the entrance is a little hard to find- I thought I had walked in through the back door. The restaurant is actually located in the public alley, not directly on Gloucester Street. The food was really good. I am obsessed with their rice and beans. Everyone seemed to love what they ordered! However, Im taking away two stars because of our service and our waitress. When we sat down, she casually asked, "Can I get you started with chips and guac?" At pretty much every Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, that phrasing implies it is complimentary. At no point did she mention that the guac was an added charge. We later found out we were charged $16 per guac, yes because she brought over TWO (!!) which totaled over $30, which felt really misleading. If something is meant to be an appetizer you are paying for, I expect it to be framed as, "Would you like to order any appetizers?" not presented as a default and free starter. That part left a sour taste in my mouth. I would consider coming back for the food, but I would be much more cautious ordering anything they recommend.
