Her daughter has been on the same medication her life as well thank GOD so she has not had to go without- but I am literally shaking as I write this because this lady (MIL) is an angel on earth. Despite this, we kept receiving bills and even threats to send our account to collections. I called the billing office repeatedly--almost daily--to understand why the secondary insurance had not paid, only to later discover that PAMF never billed the primary insurance first as required. It took many phone calls with representative from both insurance and the billing stuff and a great deal of stress to resolve something that should have been handled correctly from the start. This has been a very frustrating and time-consuming experience, and I hope PAMF can improve their billing communication and coordination in the future.

He contacted the office and Dr. Salmasi was one of the three that was listed as accepting new patients. He set up a video appointment to see if she accepted his insurance and if she was a good fit for him. This was not a medical call; basically a meet and greet. The doctor looked at this medical record and verified she accepted his insurance. For that honor, he was charged almost $600. He was never informed that they were going to charge this large a fee; as he would have never consented to this. He called Dignity's accounting office and explained that he was never informed that there would be a charge for a non-medical appointment. The office called him back and stated that they spent 47 minutes on him which included setting up the phone call??? He was on the phone for 15 minutes. Needless to say she will not be his doctor going forward.
