My father was a physician so I know good medical care when I see it, and Dr. Paley provides excellent primary medical care. It is true that calls to the office may not be returned the same day, but if you contact the office through the on-line patient portal, you almost always get a same-day response. As for the complaint that Dr. Paley pushed the COVID vaccine, medical science has shown that the risk of serious complications or death from COVID is astronomically higher than complications or death from the vaccine. He is following medical science and protocols in advocating that a patient reduce risk by getting vaccinated. But the choice is still the patient's.

Rd time the staff come out to tell me the reason was she is on a lunch break, and then has to go to a meeting, are you kidding me ?? 4th time I came on tome and did what the my health app told me to- I checked in online and it said you're checked in go to the waiting room and wait for your name to be called so I went to the waiting room. No one came to call me 10 minutes went by and then I heard my name and went to the front desk and they said oh no you were supposed to check in here. I waited 10 more minutes and then a nurse came out and told me I'm sorry the doctor can't see you. Your appointment was 11:40 and it's now 1150:. The doctor has to go to lunch and then she has a meeting! I couldn't believe this happened for a fourth time and I went asked to speak to the doctor and I was waiting again for them to give me a reply. They came back out and said well she can help you make another appointment, but she can't see you ---what the heck?? I'm in my 60s I never in my life have had such a horrible experience in the span of 1 1/2 weeks having my appointment canceled four times that is just unacceptable to me. I'm very concerned about what happened to the level of care at PAMF!!! They think it's OK keep me waiting for 20 minutes or more when I have an appointment and have then have the nerve to tell me the doctor is not there or at lunch?? and I have to go home and come back another day and make another appointment four times in a row! This doctor couldn't take five minutes to talk to me, especially after Im coming out of the ER the day before- this is highly inconsiderate and disrespectful to your patients. I changed doctors. I have had enough even though I really liked Dr. Altman five years ago when I first saw her, but now she and her staff show no respect or concern whatsoever for what they put me through . No apologies were given, no accommodations were made for their incompetency in scheduling and caring for and managing the patient. And the attitude I got was if it was no big deal for them to send me home and come back another time. I have a busy life. I have a job and can't keep taking time off because of scheduling mistakes my time is valuable also. The first time I was sent away, I had Covid and it was really difficult for me to walk to the appointment and even get there and they had the nerve to send me home due to their scheduling error. Shame on This practice!! To pour salt on the wound when I left, I must have lost my parking ticket and there's no attendant in the booth anymore so I couldn't get out of the parking lot without paying $35 for spending less than an hour in the parking lot!

After reading the reviews here, I had a positive experience with nurse practitioner, Judith Alderman. I understood billing could be an issue. I needed a PCP, as we all do, otherwise you can find yourself in heap of a mess, so I called to verify that they accept my insurance. If you have insurance but get a huge bill, call and ask to have it recoded. My first appointment for a heathcare review went well - lots of questions. Judith advised me I no longer needed routine screenings for cervical cancer yet only the week before my DOCTOR, a specialists, wanted to see me every 3 years, so this center should not be your only source for health information particularly if you have other health issues/concerns. The office is comfortable and spacious. The bad fake Fiddle Leaf Fig trees look out of place in the nice office, especially as they sit in front of gorgeous windows with plenty of light. Real Fiddle Leafs are ridiculously easy to care for, and there are places like officeplants.com that will bring and care for live plants. There are health benefits to live plants too, but ok. The lights over the seating area are huge white flowers and are amazing. You do have to download the app but it seems all medical groups either have an app to communicate with patients or will be getting one. UCLA, Sutter Health and Stanford, all share access to your health history and now prescriptions are all electronically sent through a main database, "Prescription Drug Monitoring System". Government agencies, like police departments, have access to PDMS, so let's face it, our healthcare is no longer as private as we'd like. The app is faster when you're expecting lab results or have a question, you'll get responses and results much faster. Overall, a great experience.
