When I first met Anna at Lucky Tattoo, I had no intention of getting a tattoo. I was walking around and decided to check out the tattoo shop (only because I like to randomly do so from time to time just in case I ever get an inkling to get a tat done, I will have a good idea of which tattoo shops to go to since there are so many in South Beach). Surprisingly, I was greeted with a warm friendly smile by a beautiful Russian inked beauty (Anna) whose personality made you feel like she was a long lost best friend. She and I were talking about tattoos (hers and mine) and what I would like to get next. I wanted a Disney Princess (Snow White) but I wanted it with a different twist (not too girly Disney-ish). We started discussing how we can make it different throwing ideas back and forth to each other. Now I didn't intend on getting this any time soon (since it was just a premature idea in my head that I didn't give a lot of thought to) but after we talked about it, I had such a clear picture in my mind of how it was going to look that my craving for a tattoo was coming on hardcore. The second Anna showed me some of her artwork and said whenever I was ready she can do something custom made, I was sold right there and then. I MUST GET A TATTOO NOW!!! We agreed that Anna was going to draw up the piece and would call me when she was ready. She said to give her a couple days because she wants it to look perfect. As much as I wanted to get it done right that second, I appreciated that Anna wanted to give her all to provide me with a superb tattoo so I figured I could hold off a couple of days. The day she called me saying she was ready for me, I rushed to the shop. I was in awe to see the final results. It was even BETTER than what I pictured in my head. I knew my gut instincts didn't steer me wrong with Anna. We decided to do the tattoo on my thigh. Placement was perfect and all I could think was "For the price that she is giving me, this is an absolute steal!!!" She could have charged me WAAAAAY more and it still would've been worth it. Anna took her time with the tattoo and checking up on me to see how I was tolerating the pain but to be honest, there was minimal to no pain. Maybe it was because she kept me distracted with the conversation we were having or she has a really good hand and knows just how much pressure to put or both. Either way it was a pleasant experience getting tattooed by her (to the point that it even lulled me to sleep for awhile. lol) The end result came out amazing. I couldn't believe she did such a large piece in one sitting. It was a masterpiece artwork on my thigh. Now I already had 17 tattoos prior to this, but this has become my ultimate favorite tattoo. What I loved about it was not only do I have this great tattoo on me for life but thinking about the experience of getting it done (and by an amazing kind hearted sweet lady like Anna) is just icing on the cake. There are tattoo artists who can make great tattoos but the experience is bad because they have no bedside/customer service manners. Not Anna! She is the whole she-bang!!! I love her, her artwork, her mannerisms, which is why I cannot imagine getting tattoos from anyone else but her now. read more

She may be a great artist, but her lifestyle is questionable. Hmmm, I wonder why her website has been disabled? Error 451 - GoDaddy says it is an error code that has something to do with infringement, government censorship or questionable content. I recall visiting her website less than a week ago (before it was disabled) to view the homepage and the first thing I saw was a disgusting paragraph either written by her or one of her mind-mood-altered patrons that referenced using dirty needles and contacting Hepatitis or HIV, allegations of drug use/abuse and living out of cars. There was also a link on her site that she titled "Good read" that was actually a 54 paged Affidavit from an FBI agent apparently investigating one of the social media sites Anna engages with - with reference to exploitation and child pornography! Anna thinks that's a good read? Whatever her questionable intent was for attaching that document to her website and calling it a "good read" - would prompt one to not only question her character and integrity but also her state of mind. Do you really want this type of person holding a needle to your skin - artistic or not? Ask yourself that before you choose her as your tattoo artist! read more

Its been many years since my last tattoo, and when I finally decided exactly what I wanted, I was anxious to get it done. I did some research on who I wanted to do the tattoo, and I called Anna out of the nowhere. She was kind and courteous over the phone. She messaged me the next day with a time sooner than I expected I would get, given her busy schedule. I did not come completely prepared, and Anna spent additional time helping me fine tune exactly what I was getting. Would never have had that much attention anywhere else! She has a remarkable level of patience and interest, as the preparation alone took a few hours. The session itself was calm and easy, and she really took her time, which this particular tattoo really required. We had great conversation during the visit, and, in getting to know her, it reinforced my confidence she was the right person for the job. Anna may have a easy-going personality, but her work is professional,intense and detail-oriented. Her creativity doesn't stop with tattooing, you can see her passion in other forms of art. I just got a tattoo by Anna and i loved it so much! I'm from Colombia, so i did not get to meet her or check out the tattoo shop until the day of my appointment. First i saw her work on her website and Facebook page and i thought i would send her a message to see if she would do a design for me (Dandelion tattoo). She replied almost immediately every email and Facebook inbox i sent her and every time i had a question or something she answered. Anna is really really nice and sweet!!! So then i flew to Miami to meet her and get the tattoo done, and she had an amazing design sketched. It was really pretty. Finally after doing some touch ups she started doing her work on me and it almost didn't hurt!! I was very happy with the final result and seriously i love this tattoo so much i recommend Anna a lot if you wanna get a nice tattoo because she is a great artist, a really nice person and she would do anything to make her work shine on you! xoxo. read more

This artist associates herself with a low class scum bag scam artist who uses websites to sell goods/items with no intention of actually delivering. Instead he makes you believe his paypal is down- including photos, the works, it makes it hard to question him and paypal is insured so you think it is okay, however my own stupidity for doing the transaction. However, Anna Wasp allows him to use her cash app (uninsured) to collect the money, then she doesn't acknowledge you or reply when you reach out to either try to get your money back or see whats going on because apparently she is in on it too. I wouldn't let no scum like this do permanent work on me or anyone i know. And the work i've seen could be better either way. LOW CLASS SCUM BAGS! read more

Anna, is an amazing tattoo artist. I wanted a watercolor tattoo for my first tattoo during my research I came across Anna's page and instantly knew she should be my artist. I sent her my idea for the piece, when I arrived she had turned my vision into a masterpiece! She takes her time and really works with you to give you the best experience!
