Initial phone call was pretty much business-casual (there will be plenty of time for stern-faced judgements later ;-) A little back and forth then once over lightly on how all this comes together and the client's role. LHH provides personalized resume review and advice on the current branding and networking trends in the job market. Most of it happens online but somethings don't automate well and you get to talk with a real live person. This morning's resume thing went well, get some badly needed assistance with structure and organization but still able to keep the "me" in the details. Appointment with my career consultant in the afternoon to discuss career plans/goals and check for holes in my work history, online presence, and soft skills IRL. yea! no red flags! Additionally, I was shown a whole host of online material available to view and review: networking, computer-ing, interviewing, start-ups, changing careers, and more. Lots of self paced learning and links to company research and information sites so you are not completely disadvantaged in the hiring game. Access to the live stuff has an expiration date but the canned product will always be available. When it's all said and done the people at LHH are great resources but someone still has to do the work... :-\
