My favorite uncle died when I was 13, my dad died in 2015 & thanks to my co-worker who's a full blown medium/energy reader, I got to hear from them both!
I know, I know, long title, but I wanted to make sure you guys stuck around to hear the whole story (I'll still shorten it up though).
I've known Chantelle for about 10 years.
She was the first person I trained and we've been friends ever since.
Fast forward to present day, I know/knew she was hella spiritual, believed in things that can't be explained much like me but I had no idea to what level until this week.
This week she asked me to do a guest spot on her podcast Lingo & Libations (check it out!) and I said "you're the 3rd person to ask me to do a guest spot this week, pick up the signs".
Now I was joking when I said the read the signs part, but about 10-15 mins later she starts to text me.
**From this point ill just lay out parts of the convo**
Chantelle: Did you know someone named Earl? Very Random, I know.
Me: DMX? LOL I had an uncle named James Earl (remember his name, it's important to the story)
Chantelle: Did he pass?
Me: Yea
Chantelle: Did he drink? Like sometimes maybe too much
Me: .....yea (He was borderline alcoholic at times)
Chantelle: Ahh ok. He's with your dad
Me: Man...thank you. That was my favorite uncle!
Chantelle: He give me smooth. Like he's saying he was a cassanova, good with the ladies, he said jokingly
Me: Man, he was the absolutely coolest!
Chantelle: Did he have chest issues or heart stuff?
Me: Pops did (now after asking my mom, my uncle did indeed have heart problems. He died at 48 from a heart attack)
Chantelle: Ok Gotcha. Did he smoke cigarettes?
Me: Damn sure did
Chantelle: He's showing me a tight white tee, smoking a cigarette like he's cool lol
Me: Definitely wore a white tee and cigs, this is wild man (like every Sunday, weather pending, he'd be on the front porch. Tight white tee, smoking cigs. His cool ass looked like a damn Newport model..lol)
Chantelle: He's saying I need to pick back up my podcast and incorporate my name of Successfully lazy (so when I joined the financial social network, My Pocket Advisor, I took on the new name of successfully lazy and have been pondering taking the podcast in that direction. Nobody knew that, at all)
Chantelle: Also your dad is saying he wished he was more affectionate. He loves how you are with your son and wished he was more like that. He said he was very old school. He said when he passed you had some anger about the overall dynamic you had so in a was he's apologizing.
He said your nonchalant demeanor was a lot like his. But he wished he was vulnerable to show it to you (so yea, pops wasn't very affectionate at all. To her point very old school. He could never verbally say "love you". One time he bought me a greeting card that said "I may not say it often but I love you very much")
** He went on to say I need to get Roman back in martial arts, he's not challenged in school and we need to find something to occupy his time..lol
Chantelle: You know the crazy thing is, I was on the phone with my spiritual coach and she said theres a coworker of mine I need to give a reading too and you came to mind, but I was like "I'm not sure he'll be open to it".
Then when you said "pick up the signs" I took that as a sign.
**That was then end of our 10-15 minute convo but a day later she said the following"
Chantelle: I had a thought last night. When I was meditating, I heard the name James. I didn't think it was about you because I also have an uncle named James who passed and that's who I thought it was. Which is why I think he said Earl next
***Ok that's the end of the story, but I was stuck somewhere between tears and chills. I mean she did all of this in just a FB chat convo! I of course told my mom who said "that makes sense that they would be together, they always hung out"
So yea, I know theres a lot of fakes and sensationalized stuff on TV about the mediums, but from my Kidney story you guys know I definitely believe in the gift, and Chantelle is DEFINITELY the most gifted I've ever met! read more
