Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was fresh and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for great pizza and excellent customer service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be coming back!

The delicious Italian food and fantastic service had me back the next day. Rigatoni alla vodka is very tasty and a generous portion. Ordered the garlic knot sliders again cause they are so good. Tried the zeppole dessert (fried dough balls with powdered sugar and jam on top) and it came out warm and fresh. The service is A+. My drink got replaced so quickly whenever it got low, and the wait staff checked in on me often to get me whatever I requested.

The pizza here is absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful, what a great space! Plenty of indoor seating, but also packaged very well to go. Also, plenty of easy parking, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza was fantastic, the appetizer is however need some work. The garlic knots look delicious but we're still raw on the inside and the Arancini fell apart instantly, I would've also wished for some filling such as cheese, ham or peas instead of just rice. The mozzarella sticks also had zero cheese pole and were quite generic. We would definitely be back for the pizzas and pass on the appetizers next time.

Pretty solid pizza place in Valley Village! It was close to a park where my daughter was playing with her friend from school. Her mom told us about this place so we went there and gave it a try! The staff was super friendly. We just split a cheese and pepperoni pizza. Really wanted to try the Pepperoni Dreams pizza but they couldn't do halfsies with a specialty pizza. So much more to try next time we visit! But the pizza was yummy!

Anna Pizza is a new Italian restaurant that recently opened in the area and their menu goes beyond wood-fire pizza as you can also order pasta, sandwiches, and entrees. This is not your typical pizzeria since the chef/owner also runs Fire & Wood Catering and they now have their first brick and mortar location. Anna Pizza is located in Valley Village on Burbank Blvd and Whitsett Ave with plenty of free parking. Although they have taken over the space where Gorilla Pies (RIP) used to be, you can expect to still come here and enjoy a delicious slice. I recently did a take out order and got the Brooklyn White round pizza. When I got to the restaurant, it felt like a mom-and-pop neighborhood Italian restaurant with plenty of framed photos as decoration. The customer service was beyond kind and the pizza was cooked fresh inside a wood-fire oven. As for the pizza, my wife and I were happy we went with a Brooklyn White for our first order. It was made with shredded mozzarella, ricotta cheese, shaved Parmesan with fresh garlic , black pepper, and Graza Olive Oil. What made this pie stand out was the sesame seed crust, this was definitely a first. I do plan to come back so I can explore the menu and I hope Anna Pizza is here to stay!

Dined in on a Friday night & had the best experience. Everyone was super sweet & welcoming. It's a very small establishment but people are in & out quickly. Their pizza choices are unique with fresh ingredients and they have the best crust! We tried their pepperoni dream again but this time I asked for no chili & it was perfect; I love the fresh mozzarella they use on their pizzas. We also got their garlic knot sliders again because they're THAT good. Definitely recommend checking them out and supporting this small pizza spot, a bit pricier than the big pizza chains but worth the price for their quality

Ambiance was chill environment. The restaurant is small so depending on crowds and time of day I'm not sure how busy it gets/ how wait times are. This place is on the pricier side for pizza, if you're looking for a quick bite with different types of pizza options be mindful it is limited on toppings. I wouldn't recommending sitting there if you have children or plan on staying there for a while as they don't have any bathrooms open for their customers which is a bummer. We did take out on this pizza and received it right why it came out. Pizza was good but nothing too special on the flavor. There is additional charges for ranch and any other sauces. We tried the "chili oil" which I was excited for but unfortunately just tasted like olive oil.

Whoever said good pizza is hard to find clearly hasn't been to Anna's! As a Los Angeles native, I know the struggle of finding a decent slice amongst a sea of mediocre pies. But Anna's pizza is a shining needle in that haystack. And speaking of needles, don't forget to bring your stretchy pants because their pasta portions are no joke. But even if you're not a pasta person, their Italian meatballs will convert you. Trust me, I'm not usually a meatball fan, but Anna's is an exception. And their Garlic Knots will have you begging for more room, so tasty. Do yourself a favor and indulge in some deliciousness at Anna's!"

Because I'm so spoiled by Portland's pizza I couldn't give this pizza five stars but I'd say it's 3.5 out of 5. For $25 I expected other type of mushrooms and other kind of vegetables because it was basically mushrooms with lots of onion. Crunchy onion on pizza was an interesting choice. Liked the mozzarella pizza, it helped. The tomato base sauce was not as flavorful as I liked but again very spoiled by amazing pizza we have in Portland. I was excited to learn this was sourdough pizza but didn't get that complex taste from the crust.

First time trying Anna Pizza and cannot wait to go back!! Super easy parking! I rlly appreciate when a place has a parking lot! You walk in and the place is just cool vibes and comfortable but also a little chic! It was just lovely and so inviting! Love was our server and she might be one of the loveliest, kindest and wonderful ones I've encountered in LA! She was so helpful with suggestions since it was our first time there. And trust me - we asked her a ton! And she just couldn't have been nicer but also just incredible and someone who you can tell takes great pride in being there and interacting with everyone there. We ordered the garlic knots - they are a must! We did the rigatoni alla vodka - delish! It's nice to find places that do a traditional vodka sauce that isn't spicy! And such a generous portion size of pasta - would absolutely order again! We did two pies - the cheese pie and the Brooklyn White. Both incredible! We are from NY so we do love a NY style pizza and are always in search of it here in the valley and this is some of the best we've had! The sesame crust on the white pizza was INSANE! Just truly one of our favorite pie's in LA! The food is delish and so incredibly and reasonably priced! Out the door for under $100 for 3 people and that's a steal given how much food you get and the quality of it. Can't wait to go back and try different items! There is a chicken parm sliders on the menu that looks incredible and a cannoli pizza for dessert that I MUST try next time!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part.
