First thing when going to any hospital that they state you can go to for coverage and when you give them your medical identification card and the hospital states they never heard of this insurance or coverage there is a reason, simply because for what you pay they don't cover anything, oh I'm sorry I stand corrected they cover some cost like pennies. I know healthcare is screwed up rite now but seriously it is like they cover maybe less then 20% of your medical bill literally, standard check up just to go in is $50 & I understand yeah that is a little high when some offer $5, $10, $15, $25, but when paying the copay usually the other portion is covered, not here, you pay $50 and then you pay for what ever it is you went in for, labs, physical check up, prenatal vitamins, pregnancy check ups, everything comes out of your pocket, oh oh sorry they will cover if you spend the night at the hospital but only up to $1500 depending on the issue. So let's see what they pay for then...hmmm seemed like nothing, if there is medication you need guess how much they cover nothing oh wait wait yeah nothing.. so if an ointment is $9 and insurance covers .0000012 or less you still pay $9 When you call any of the reps there all seem like they don't want to talk to you nor care about your situation. We asked for help from the company owner and he said just call an adjuster. He couldn't be bothered I guess but he sure liked the commission off of our premium we paid. Come to find out this was a new company they were writing and they didn't even know the details of the policy and are now not using this company anymore for their clients homeowners policy. Did I mention we haven't heard a word from them to see how our claim has been going or our fight. We are on our own with absolutely no help or communication with them or from them. Absolutely horrible company with no regards for their customers satisfaction or well being . I took…read moremy car in to the dealership more than a week ago , the dealership has been going back and forth with smart auto care every single day since and have gotten no where. I have called them every day as well and have gotten no where as well . They act like they don't care and it's not their problem. I haven't had my car for a week already , I lost my job because smart auto care will not cover a car rental until they approve the claim but instead of approving the claim they keep going back and forth with the dealership requiring more information . This has not been one phone call where they spoke to the dealership or me directly, smart auto care won't even contact anyone , the dealership and I have to keep calling them and every single time we have gotten a hold of them they have delayed the process by another day, they recently asked the dealership to remove my motor to get a better diagnostic which is understandable but if smart auto care decides not to approve the claim after the fact then I am the one who has to pay the dealership $1,300 for the diagnostic . Also why didn't smart auto care ask the dealership to do this the very first day we got a hold of them instead of a week later after I have lost everything. Absolutely ridiculous company , the only person I would ever recommend this company too is someone who is looking to be inconvenienced , ignored and spoken down to by supervisors because they don't want to hear from you. I wish there was a negative 100 on here because they are incredibly unprofessional.
