Horrible customer service and over charges. My grandmother ask to speak with a manager because the lady doing her nails was not doing them correctly and didn't understand English. When the manager came to speak with us, he was rude, loud, and disrespectful. I used to come here before I moved out of state. Now that I am back in town I decided to come back. The first time was fine. This time today will be my last time coming here. I attached a picture showing what i got before and asked for again vs. What I got. I will not be returning. The girl did a terrible job on my nails. I got my nails done, and three days later, I broke one of my nails while closing my oven door. I went back to get it repaired and get a pedicure. I explained to Michelle and the other tech I hit my nail on my oven door. I know that I broke my nail and that I would have to pay for my nail repair. The guy repairs my nails with a tip and polish but no acrylic. I told him that it is not repaired correctly. I guess they thought I wanted them to repair it for free. They could have ensured I knew there was a charge for a nail repair. I KNOW THERE IS A CHARGE TO REPAIR MY NAIL. It pissed me off. Then I asked Michelle to fix what the guy had done, and she would not fix it. But they expected me to get my pedicure. I will NEVER visit that shop again. I don't normally get my nails done but I'm going to a nice occasion and decided come here to get a gel manicure. The moment I walked in I was almost yelled at for not knowing exactly what I wanted because I wanted to look at what they offered. They criticized the nail shape I wanted and for asking if they had more polish colors (which they did), filed my nails unevenly and complained when I asked for it to me retouched. The color I asked for came out shimmery instead of matte like it appeared on the nail display, which maybe the lighting was to blame and not them but I was disappointed to not get what I wanted. The lady at the end very lazily put cuticle oil on me, beginning with my actual cuticles in one finger but soon didn't even try to reach my cuticles but settled for my knuckles. When I asked her about it she complained again and rubbed my hand and asked if I was happy. I was hoping for a relaxing time but instead felt stressed and very unwelcome, as if I was putting them out. In the end I paid $26 for extremely blotchy, bumpy, uneven and bleeding nails. I work in hospitality so maybe I have a high standard for customer experience, but even if I didn't I would never recommend this place. read more

I was already hesitant about going back because of my experience last time but I was in a rush today and they are the closest location to me. I decided to treat myself and get the number 3.......I shouldn't have. I feel because I didn't pick gel I received a poor experience. She did not scrub my feet, get rid of any dead skin as it is listed in the service. The polish was thrown on any kind of way. It's been 20 min since I left and it honestly look as if my 3 year old cousin painted my nails. There is paint all over my skin. Not worth $45 that I spent. I went to Anna to get my gel nails done before I went on vacation and they ended up looking terrible. They were very thick and started lifting the same day. They were catching on my clothes and hair. I came here looking to get my gels removed and a new set put on, but I'd recommend going anywhere else if you have the choice. Instead of allowing the acetone to soak off the gel polish, the lady ground it off using the drill, completely wrecking my real nail underneath the polish. The only reason I allowed it to get that far is because it's completely normal to use a drill to open the layers of gel to allow the acetone to work faster, and by the time I realized she was drilling straight down to my nail, it was too late. Instead of another set of geld, I asked for regular polish in order to cover the damage until it can grow out. Unfortunately, my nails are so shredded from this woman's work that the polish looks lumpy and gummy; I may as well have had my five year-old neighbor do them. It doesn't help that coloring in the lines does not appear to be this nail tech's forte. Thumbs up for a clean, airy facility. 100% do not, would not, will not recommend this place under any circumstances. Update: after removing the polish, I can see that my nails are so deeply pitted and scored that it will take months to grow out the damage, and for all this, she didn't even get all of the gel polish off. She just painted over it. If I was still in the state, I'd be making a stink in person at the salon. read more

My mistake coming back here again. This time I'm bleeding again except it's my feet. I asked for the corners of my nails to be trimmed, she cut into so deep I cringed and told her to stop, then used the same tool to do my cuticles. I get my nails and toes done enough to know what she should have been using. The woman next to me was even in disbelief. Everything she was supposed to do to my toes she made me bleed. What's frustrating is that no one seems to care. Here is my teaching moment, of you go to someone for a job and they fail at it DONT go back. Today was beyond that. I will be contacting the Licensing board of Missouri as well as the Better Business Bureau. If this woman is certified she definitely needs more training. My daughter went in for a fill. A reg fill is $15.00,but my daughter was charged $30.00. When I asked why she was charged $30 the manager was very loud and rude. Apparently they give her gel polish instead of the reg she usually gets. Should have been some communication. Went in there with my boyfriend to get a pedicure and the service was unpleasant! He asked for a deluxe pedicure, nothing was deluxe about it. Literally was done within 15 mins. Then when he got done the girl who did his pedicure was hovering over him about a payment. I was still being serviced! Her acrylic work is incredible, she's can be very very fast (if you're on a time crunch), she fixes nails right away if your polish messes up, the shaping is awesome. I have been going to Anna's for a little over a year and in the last couple of months my nails have broken off constantly and when I went to get them fixed the first time they made me pay although I had just got them done, the second nail that broke was free but then I broke a third I just took them all off. I got acrylic nails also the glue that they used felt like it burned my skin around the nail and cuticle area so obviously some cheap glue they are using. My mom also had an issue, her real nail bed turned GREEN meaning it had a fungus after a new set of acrylic layover. I used to love them but I won't be back ever again. & I don't recommend them to anyone! Go some place else. read more

He started laughing so hard from caring on with the other employees he had to get up and walk away for a few minutes and finely came back. My nails do not look the same. Went to get a fill and a gel polish change. Worst fill I've ever had, acrylic was literally stuck to my skin, and when I went to remove my full set the corners of my nails were bleeding.
