I called and asked if they could blow dry my hair before braiding and the lady on the phone said…read moreyes. When I got there, the lady braiding my hair was annoyed that I brought this up and didn't even blow dry it correctly...she literally just blow dried my hair without even combing it so there wasn't even a point in her doing that. My hair was still rough when it was dry. Why even offer to do it if you're going to halfway do it? When I took the braids down my hair was shedding so badly (I had 6 feed in braids) because she didn't put any oil in my hair at all and used that tiny comb to comb through it. I had long 4c hair and now it is shoulder length because of all the damage. Wish I could give them 0 stars

Not to mention the absence of drugged up homeless people, litter and boarded up business. Whew! Now that I got that off my chest, after a week and a half of visiting all the amazing museums in the area, my dawgs were BARKIN' and needed some TLC. I randomly picked this spot and my feet are better for it. The technician was friendly and skilled. My toes look great and my tired legs and feet feel refreshed. Price was fair. The spa is clean and spacious. Too noisy for me (radio station pop music) and lots of kids. Is this a deal breaker? No but certainly not "relaxing".

It can be somewhat inconsistent based on who you are with any particular day. However, my thoughts on this are based on my own preference for designs, often slightly more delicate ones. If you're going fairly simple, I wouldn't imagine you would really have issues. It is a relaxing place to be, and the techs are always nice. I do think they're more limited in the colors they offer than most places I've been, and I don't like that, but again, I generally come in wanting fairly specific things.
