I came to her after another doctor dismissed a lump I found in my breast because I'm only 29. Dr. Sitnitsky took my concerns seriously and helped me get a second opinion and the proper evaluation I needed. I'm so grateful to have a doctor who actually listens and advocates for her patients. She made me feel heard, reassured, and cared for instead of dismissing my concerns. I can't recommend Dr. Sitnitsky enough. She is an amazing doctor and I feel very lucky to be under her care!

I was excited to take charge of my healthcare and find a PCP who would be invested in my health at this stage of my life. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The doctor had little to no bedside manner. After our first appointment, I assumed she might have been having a difficult day, but the same pattern continued at nearly every visit. Appointments were typically very brief--often only 3-4 minutes. I was usually greeted without a smile, received short answers to my questions, and rarely got explanations about my care or treatment options. Visits often ended abruptly with, "We're all done here." I also felt that my interest in preventive healthcare was dismissed rather than encouraged. It seemed as though concerns were only taken seriously if they were severe or urgent, rather than focusing on maintaining long-term health and wellness. I understand that primary care physicians have demanding schedules and many patients to see each day. However, healthcare is a service that patients pay for and rely on. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their care. In my experience, there was very little effort to provide a positive patient experience or build a doctor-patient relationship. Overall, I found the interactions unfriendly, uncomfortable, impersonal, and unprofessional. She seems checked out. I know this doctor has many positive reviews, but it appears that much of her patient base may consist of older adults or patients with more serious medical conditions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend her to younger adults seeking a primary care physician for long-term, preventive-focused care.

You know, because you can have about the same cholesterol levels for 10+ years, and then have it nearly double in 3 months, and that's just age. She repeated this several times throughout the appointment and showed no curiosity at all as to whether something other than age might have caused it. She appears to be checked out of this job.

People, Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR…read more I visit DR. Laura Stevens for a regular checkup. The total visit time was around 1 hour. We spoke about my health approximately 10 minutes in total, another 10 minutes for a blood pressure test, temperature and pulse measuring. Rest 40 minutes Dr. Laura Stevens asked me inappropriate personal questions: "What car I'm driving?", "What is my rent payment?", "What is my salary?". All these questions make me feel extremely uncomfortable. Dr. Stevens repeat phrases "You pick the right girl", "I'm the best doctor for you", "I'm very knowledgeable" nonstop. After the visit, Dr. Stevens billed my insurance $400 for "Medical care" - I DID NOT GET ANY MEDICAL CARE. And billed me $250 for "Lab tests", but I don't remember any lab test. Again -She will keep you in the office to charge you more and will ask you "What car I'm driving?","What is my rent payment?", "What is my salary?" -She will google information about your health problem. -She will bill you and your insurance for "Lab Test" THIS IS HOW SHE IS DOING HER BUSINESS! People who was scammed by this lady, message me please, We gonna file a collective court claim.

She kept hinting at depression, but I told her I would consider that if we could do all the blood tests to make sure there isnt anything else wrong with me. She not only was able to find out what was wrong with me, but we worked on a plan to get my numbers back in range. Also, she asks if I'm sticking to my regimen every follow up.

My baby's pediatrician recommended Dr. Caroline Stratz, an internist who only treats adults. She is located on South Drive near El Camino Hospital, at the very end of the street. Dr. Stratz also is not contracted with my insurance. In fact, she is not contracted with *any* insurance companies. However, I am still going to stay with her. I will detail my first visit to her office and my impressions: -Walked into the office: It is a rather small office with about 2-3 examination rooms. The reception room is smallish but very comfortable. The front desk scheduling coordinator, Gay, is extremely personable and friendly. They did not mind that I had to bring my baby girl. In fact, Gay said they "love babies", and that Dr. Stratz has 3 children of her own. Gay asked me to make myself comfortable and fill out my paperwork. She explained to me that they do not bill out to insurance companies for the patients. Instead, they print out a superbill, give a copy to the patient, and the patient has to submit a claim to the insurance company for reimbursement. Full payment to Dr. Stratz is due at the time of service. -Interview with Dr. Stratz: After I filled out my paperwork, I only waited for about 5 minutes. Dr. Stratz called me into her private office and we talked about any concerns I have regarding my health. She asked me many questions and wrote them all down in my chart. She then asked me if I have any questions for her. I found her to be extremely easy to talk to. Totally nice. -Weight, BP, preliminaries: Dr. Stratz herself took my weight and blood pressure reading. She did everything- checked my breathing, reflexes, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, etc. Everything. She was very thorough and gentle. -Final chat: After doing her examination, Dr. Stratz stepped out of the room so I could get changed. She came back in and did a summary of her findings. Throughout the entire appointment, I felt very comfortable. She does not wear a white coat- just her regular clothes, so those of you who have that "white coat phobia" may feel more comfortable with her. All in all, I like her a lot. As I mentioned, you as the patient would have to submit your own insurance claim to get reimbursed, but I don't have much of a problem with that.
