If I could give 0 stars I would... they messed up my daughters prescription, she's 4!. reversed the lenses left to right, fixed it supposedly and then found out they did it wrong yet again!!! twice... I wanted our money back which they said they couldn't do, I said most definitely you will or there will be recourse for damaging my daughters perception og eyeglasses now....we are waiting on an outcome they will be giving me my money back for errors they caused. now my daughter has had migraines for a year, and NOW has to wear patches to fix the strain on her eyes from wearing the WRONG glasses!!!!!!! read more

Had a great experience here when bringing my girls in for their first eye exam. The techs were great at explaining to my girls what they were doing so they wouldn't get scared. The female doctor we had was amazing with kids. They thought it was a fun experience overall. They also have a decent selection of kids frames to choose from. read more

I ordered 2 pair of glasses, one regular and one occupational (computer) glasses. I let the optometrist know that I measured the distance for my computer glasses and he said he didn't need that, he's done this enough he knows what the strength should be. After two weeks and no word I called, I left three messages and never received a call back. I got my occupational glasses and guess what. Not the correct strength, only to be told I would have to come back and see one of the techs to see if they measured them correctly and if the measurements were correct then I would have to make an appointment to see the doctor. On my initial visit everyone was so friendly. Service after the sale, not so good. Unfortunately I've already paid for my glasses. This will be my one and only use of this eye care center. read more

If I had a place to put a subject line, it would read; It's all about the color. I moved to Anna Texas in 2016 and when the Eyecare Center opened, I immediately became a patient. In the maybe 4 years, I have had zero issues but I think that the business has changed hands because I was seen by a different optometrist. In May, I scheduled my appointment and ordered my usual "Colored" contacts. The staffer asked if I wanted a 6 or 12 month supply? I stated 12 and I paid what she advised that I owed. I picked them up some days later and the next day, when I went to put them on, there was 12 months of contacts for ONE eye. I immediately called the office to advise of the error and I was told basically that there was no error. BLANK STARE! I asked, who orders colored contacts for just one eye. Not I and in the rare cases that people are born like that corrections are made. Who have you seen walking around with two different eye colors? I was treated as though I made the mistake and that I was also stupid to think any differently. I received no apology, no empathy and nothing was done to compensate for the error or meet me half way with it. I was absolutely floored as to how this was handled. In addiction, when I did have to come back into the office to bring them back and later pick up a 6 month supply, I was met with a feeling that made me very uneasy. No one spoke or even wanted to acknowledge that I was even there. I chalked it up to guilt. I won't say forgive me for saying this but; I will say that it IS ALL about the COLOR, because if my face wasn't brown and a mistake was made on this level with anyone else, it would have DEFINITELY been handled much differently and I find that to be exceptionally sad. I am not sure that I can reorder contacts after six months with a different Doctor/facility, but it is for sure that I will not return in 2024 as a patient with Anna Eyecare. The whole team here is great, hardworking, dedicated to quality care, and very kind. The doctors are very great, and are quick and to the point. The techs are friendly, and the receptionist is super helpful and takes the time to explain stuff to a younger guy like me who may have never needed to do something like update a HIPPA form before. 10/10 would recommend. They helped tailor my appointments to help prepare me for LASIK and making sure my prescription was stable. read more

Went here for barely half a year and had to switch to a new eye clinic because of the rude front desk ladies and bad experience. Staff did not know what they were doing at all. Ive been wearing contacts for 3 years and moved to a new area and decided to go here to get new contacts which isn't a hard process at all and hoped I could be a permanent client. Every single time I've tried to check in the ladies at the front desk would never have my information or even knew I had an appointment which I would schedule ahead of time. Seemed like they didn't care to keep my file and I had to always sign the same papers over and over again and re schedule again. I was even nice enough to call the staff ahead of time to cancel my last appointment and that I was going to a new clinic, but all I got was a rude attitude filled lady telling me that was a bad idea and the new clinic I will be going to will treat me the same way. I am not much for commenting but I am very disappointed in Anna Eyecare. I have gone here since I was about 12 give or take when it was just Dr. Jackman in their older building. Dr. Jackman is wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone there is no doubt about that and I have NEVER had an issue until they expanded with new staff and some of the old staff are no longer there that were there for a very long time. They are unprofessional, unorganized, and do not take ownership or accountability for any mistakes made. They always try to say the system is down or not working, and the staff always has a different story. I was hung up on, spoken to rudely as well as my husband when they wanted to take over 2 weeks to get my TRIAL contacts in. I called them 2-3 days later after my initial appointment like I was told to do when I hadn't heard any updates. They continued to tell me that they were not in yet and told me they would call when they received them. Never got a call. Called again the following week and was told that the order was messed up and boxes came instead of the trials. Well these are special orders I know this I've dealt with this majority of the time seeing Dr. Jackman but have never had to wait over 2 weeks for TRIALS and have the order be incorrect and never contacted for an update. They couldn't even apologize for the mistake they made just for the wait. They even tried to tell me they had to reorder and my left and right were coming in separately and trying to tell me it takes a while to get these since they are special orders but yet they could get a whole box in of 3 month supply for both left and right...doesn't make any sense. I cancelled my order and no longer will be going back unfortunately I've lost a good optometrist but I am not dealing with the incompetent staff. VERY disappointed. Oh another issue is instead of calling me back after I got off the phone, they sent a text and email to update me. The picture I have attached shows my appointment date which is May 5th and when they texted me about my contacts on May 19th instead of giving me a call back to let me know my other contact wouldn't be there until the 25th! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. and I'm being completely sarcastic. I gave 2 stars because Dr. Jackman is great but if the staff doesn't take better accountability and have better communication with customers and stop lying they're going to tear the business down. read more

I called to reschedule my appointment the morning of my eye exam, which I have never had to do before. The woman who answered was rude and didn't care that I was sick. She said that's considered a no-show and they would be billing me. Is it really a no-show when I gave them the courtesy of a phone call? As if this office couldn't have filled my time slot with one phone call. I received a bill two days later. I should have just brought COVID or whatever else I had with me. After years of being told I couldn't wear contacts for presbyopia, I had another doctor fit me with multifocal lenses. They were great for computer work but horrible for driving. I was told it's "as good as it's going to get". I had a friend recommended Dr. Jackman, and I booked an appointment. He was beyond informative, very easy to communicate with, and offered me other options, such as monovision to correct farsighted in one eye and presbyopia in the other. It takes getting used to, but I am living a whole new life! I could never adjust to bifocal glasses, and had resorted to using readers perched on the end of my nose. Now, I can go thorough my day being able to see at a distance AND read the small print on everything. To say I'm grateful is a huge understatement! Professional, warm and friendly, informative and skilled at his profession. And, all other staff were terrific. I'd rate higher than 5 if I could! read more

Dr. Jackman was wonderful! He has great "bedside" manners. He explained everything in great detail to my grandson Braylon. Braylon has Type 1 diabetes. The need for extensive eye care due to his diabetes. He also sent reports to Braylon's primary care and endocrinologist. Then it was my turn. He explained to me I have cataracts. I didn't know I had or my eyesight was very bad. I now have glasses for the first time in my life. Yearly eye exams for both of us. Dr. Jackman is so knowledgeable. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. I will recommend Anna Eyecare and Dr. Jackman to my family and friends! read more

I had to make an eye doctor appointment on short notice and wasn't able to go to my eye doctor. I was a little reluctant but made an appointment with Dr. Jackman at Anna Eyecare. I literally just left and couldn't be happier. Dr. Jackman was great. He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood and he had a great personality and sense of humor. I also spent some time with Jessica at the front and she helped me pick out some frames and talked to me about insurance. She was also very personable. 5 stars for Anna Eyecare! That was for one pair of glasses and contacts ,which I was told were covered by the insurance.. My out of pocket 467.00 ... I do not have time to negotiate prices .. My time is much to valuable ..
