    Choice of 3 Dip Mezze

Great vegan restaurant with amazing food, flavors were 100/10 the mushroom kebab was grilled to perfection, and the different mezze dips really stole the show, we had the ful medames, hummus masabacha and muhammara they were all delicious! Our weaver Charlie was super friendly and gave us good recommendations and was very attentive. The ambiance is upscale and modern we went during dinner time and it was a bit louder than expected and the side tables and be a little tight but otherwise it was amazing experience highly recommend!!

Was visiting friends & family in Oct 2024, and my friend found this spot on TikTok knowing I'm vegan. We made reservations and were taken back to a table as soon as we arrived. The ambience is incredible with the decor and the lighting from the bar all the way to the back of the restaurant. Our server was fantastic from the moment we sat down. We told her this was our first time and she took the time to explain the chain of restaurants which also helped me find other vegan spots to check out down the line. Me and my two friends all ordered drinks: Off the coast, Anixi Sunset, and Thyme for Strawberries. I am not a big drinker and I usually find drinks too strong, but the Off the Coast was incredible--light and refreshing! We ordered the 3 Dip Mezzes (Hummus Masabacha, Whipped Ricotta, and the Taramasalata). All were good, but the Whipped Ricotta was my absolute favorite! We got the Beef Dolmas, and two other dishes no longer on the menu. All I know is that all three of us devoured all of the food, and I am the only vegan. So if my two carnivore friends could enjoy it, you know it's good! What I do know is that if you are getting dessert, you ABSOLUTELY have to get the Ekmek Kataifi. OMG this was DIVINE!! The flaky layers and cream just melt in your mouth and the toppings just compliment each bite perfectly. We also ordered the Medjool Date Cake and this was also so rich and delicious. I love figs and dates and adding rich dark chocolate to the mix was just heaven! I will definitely come back the next time I am vising the City.

It's beautiful place . And food is good. Can't believe it's all vegan. But they are. Very relaxing place.

Food was creative and had so many options! As a meat lover, I did not feel that I needed meat to complete this meal. But the service was what made me lower this review. The service was not great...our waiter had an ego thinking they're all high and mighty because they're a vegan restaurant. She also gave a lot of attitude when my friend got her wine spilled by one of the workers who was cleaning and questioned us as if we were lying. She was very combative the entire shift when my friend mentioned she was not a fan of the drink, but that is simply just her opinion? Not coming back because of the waiter. As for the food, Some dishes were better than others, the dips and bread were all phenomenal. The crispy lamb cigars were a bit dry but still had flavor. For the kebabs, the chicken one was my favorite as the steak one had a weird aftertaste.

Dined at Anixi with my best friend last night. It's in Chelsea, Manhattan NYC, vegan and kosher Mediterranean restaurant. Had the waitress pick the courses for us. From the ambiance, service to the food, everything was perfect. The only thing I would do different is order a less rich dessert. Too sweet for my tastes. Manti lamb pockets, beet and citrus salad, wild mushroom kabob, pita, hummus masabacha, medjool date cake.

Oh. My. Gosh. 10/10 Recommend Anixi! The food was amazing. Get the pita, it's a must. It seemed like it was fresh from the oven. The dip, I swiped up every last dollop. YUM. The roll was delicious. I didn't get much flavor in it, but it was delicious. The cheese was also quite melty, kind of like how it would be on a pizza. I was expecting something more spreadable as it was a ricotta, but it was still good! The pistachio ice cream was wonderful. I know figs aren't in season, but we were hoping for more than a sliver of a tiny fig, or even a substitute for a more in season fruit. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. Candle lit with impressive walls and furniture. Our server was kind and happy. When her other large party table was taking up more of her time, other staff stepped in to help cover my table. My favorite item(s) has to be the dip and the pita.

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my fiancé and it was so lovely! The inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Also, blown away with how amazing everything is while being vegan too! Great menu! Started with the whipped ricotta and layered bread. The ricotta had a sweet hint to it. Whatever sauce it was in was paired beautifully. I think it was best with that sauce. And got the beef dolmas which were REALLY good! Then got the grilled chicken kabob & the beef mnzaleh. Honestly both were so so good and blew us away. The beef mnzaleh in particular had the most rich flavor ever, and was to die for. Really really great dish! Same with the grilled chicken shish kabob! Didn't get any deserts but it was such a great experience with amazing food. Definitely recommend!

Food is amazing and the service was amazing the first time I went. The second time, complete 180. I reached out via resy because of a terrible experience due to Narina's horrendous service but I never heard back. I was hoping for something from management to make me feel more confident in their establishment. If you find out your server is Narina ask for a different one. Also the management staff didn't help in the moment. They actually laughed at me. As you can tell from my review before, I planned on being a lifelong customer. Not anymore after my experience. So unfortunate.

A great vegan spot which gorgeous seating and a lot of great options. We had such a hard time picking what we wanted but thankfully we had a family style brunch so we got to try a lot of different items. The frittata was excellent and was probably our favorite dish of the meal. It came with 2 dips (tahini and hummus) and flatbread. We also got 3 other dips - all three of them were flavorful. We got the garlic glazed pull apart bread - WOW. The bread is so good and I highly recommend it. We got the pistachio cheesecake as the dessert. It's so beautifully plated but also tastes just as good. It felt like a combination of a baklava and cheesecake and I loved the different textures.

I enjoyed the food here! I was skeptical of a vegan spot but this place was great! I do think the apps are way better than the entrees and kebabs Food: we ordered the three dips (ricotta, Fire Roasted Eggplant and Hummus Masabacha). I enjoyed the ricotta and the eggplant but didn't love the hummus! The layered herb bread is honestly the way to go here! The Chicken Gyro Rolls, Beef Dolmas, Manti Lamb Pockets, and Crispy Lamb Cigars were all so delicious! I wish I got more of the chicken gyro rolls. From an entree perspective: the Khachapuri, Grilled Chicken, Wild Mushroom, and Grilled Steak were all kind of mediocre! I would only get the grilled chicken again! I got the pistachio baklava cheesecake and it was SO delicious- I would definitely order this again Price: very expensive! We offered 5 apps and 4 entrees for 4 people and ate it all! The apps were all priced as an entree and the portion sizes for all the apps and entrees were small Ambience: I love how beautiful the restaurant is! It is large and gorgeous! Service: great service!

Food, service and ambiance were great. Totally worth going for a date night, with friends or for a work event. Portions might look small but once you have a taste you'll definitely want to order more and it starts filling you up pretty fast.

Solid, safe 3.75 but overpriced Food: 3.75/5 All 5 Dip Mezze 3.75/5 Ranked from most to least tasty The 2 breads we chose: Layered herb bread & petite vegetable crudité (this bread would take the 5/5 of all food) 1. Whipped Ricotta Housemade ricotta, aleppo pepper, apricots, saffron Sweet and savory plus a little bit of sticky sauce--perfection 2. Taramasalata Lemon infused yogurt, orange seaweed caviar, red onions, evoo, sumac This taste like Mexican crema--sour cream-- and it is very similar yet very different to the whipped ricotta. Both profiles have a sweet hint Dip #3-5 were tasty but nothing special 3. Fire Roasted Eggplant 4. Hummus Masabacha 5. Ful Medames Fattoush 2.5/5 The underwhelming salad. Could not taste any dressing, but the crispness of the veggies themselves salvaged what could have been dryness or chalkiness Kofta Kabob 3.75/5 This is tasty and flavors were complimentary but the key take away is the sauce drizzle or the meat would be too bland Beef Dolmas 4.5/5 Warm (fully cooked) dolmas, packed with flavor Glazed Carrots and Turnips 3.5/5 Good consistency but too light on the spices. Pretty sure the sweetness or any flavor came from the carrots naturally Confit Potatoes 3/5 (NOT PICTURED) No crispness, but the taste is light, zesty, and savory (the opposite problem of the Glazed carrots side) Dessert: Pistachio & Fig Ice Cream 2.75/5 The only winning point from this dessert is the consistency--very creamy Could not taste the fig I am not sure how strong the pistachio flavor was, but the creaminess definitely helped Price: 2.5/5 $154 for 3 people and 1 person did not order an entree while another treated a salad as her entree I understand the upcharge for it being labeled GF and vegan, but truth is all these ingredients are on the lower end of the price spectrum because they are not meat/seafood/dairy A 5 dip situation is $24 at most at Kashkaval Garden in Hell's Kitchen and not only are they comparable in taste (without olive oil drizzle) but even bigger in size Service: 3.5/5 There were a lot of servers, but it just seemed difficult to get the attention of one (including ours) unless they were already bringing food to us/when they actually had something to run to the table Cleanliness: 4.5/5 Used the bathroom that's big individual stalls Clean sinks Thick disposable hand towels Ambiance: 4.5/5 Vintage wood Earthy-colored mosaic glass Tall ceilings Turkish music brings together what I would not call a Mediterranean setting to feel like one

This sandwich is usually not something that is available vegetarian so i was curious to see the flavors and textures. The steak is chewy and meaty so if you are not a fan of faux meat then i would proceed with caution. I enjoy the cheeses here as they are unique and different from each other. The sandwich overall was okay though not my favorite sandwich ever. - smoked Mac and cheese (7/10): macaroni with smoked goat cheese, cheddar, mozzarella baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with vegan pancetta and breadcrumbs. This was a cozy appetizer especially on a cold day. The flavors of the cheese are rich and smoky with a hint of saltiness from the pancetta and breadcrumbs. I would have liked it to be a larger portion and offered as an entree. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. I liked the ambiance and the option to try dishes that are usually meat heavy but the cuisine is not my personal favorite.

They take pride in their restaurant's offerings, as they should. My server was wonderful, offering suggestions to this first-timer. I started with a Volcano Roll - hearts of palm substituting for fish. Well balanced and delicious. Next was broccoli "beef" - fresh broccoli and shitake "steak" with mushrooms really balanced the dish. I ended with something so unnecessary and so wonderful, I'm glad I did it: The sticky toffee pudding. Just pure delight. It was relatively quiet when I was there. I could see how it could get a bit noisy if it were crowded. But even so, the people who visit are friendly and I ended up having a great conversation with the table next to me. I'll be back. Funny enough, we met our only other vegan friend there. So, from the vegan perspective, this is a popular and tasty place. We started with drinks, being lunchtime, we opted for non alcoholic drinks, the matcha colada and the salty maple macchiato. The matcha colada had a nice color but tasted mostly like coconut and pineapple which was still yummy. Friends ordered 3 different kinds of sushi and dan dan noodles with tofu. I was confused with the sushi as I thought vegans didn't eat fish...so yes I asked and was told that they probably made the "fish" with tapioca. I did try a bite of each roll (I was still full from the fest) and I was surprised that it tasted pretty good. They did a nice job with the roll and presentation. The matcha cheesecake was nice and creamy. I would not have known it was vegan. I don't normally like food that pretends to be something else because it usually doesn't live up to the real thing. The idea is that it is not pretending to be something but rather substituting with vegan options, I do think from a health perspective, I am more open to trying more vegan foods. Ambiance felt upscale and wait staff were helpful and congenial. I hear dinner time gets packed here. I may have to try again when I have not eaten already.

But the food is what really blew me away. I got the Korean Wild Green Tea First Picked, and it was unreal. Yes, it had that beautiful green tea character, but it was so much more layered than that--smooth, complex, almost naturally sweet, and honestly one of the most memorable teas I've had anywhere.
