The nail tech seemed unsure about their own polish colors and struggled a lot with color matching. Instead of the soft milky pink look I requested, the nails ended up looking purple and gradient-like, which was not what I asked for at all. To make matters worse, after only 3 days (with no excessive or rough activity), my thumb and ring finger chipped. I went back for a repair, but then after the repair, the middle finger and pinky chipped, and shortly after that, the rest of the nails chipped as well. I paid $98 for nails alone, which is very expensive for this kind of outcome and durability.

She began to scream in my face and insisted I paid for a service I did not receive or that they completed. I said I would stay for the removal but after that I am leaving because I genuinely felt like I had no other option. She was very aggressive, I genuinely thought she was capable of standing between me and the door. During my service, I watched them use the same acetone bowl that they used for me for someone else. That is extremely unsanitary and a violation of the department of health. I remember I use to come here as a kid and they were always full. Now I understand why they're empty. The owner lacks professionalism. There is no reason why you should be screaming in a clients face. I have been in customer service in a long time and I would never.

For the gel design, I chose a pale pink base on three of my nails, and I really wish she had applied more coats. You could still see the free edge of my nail, which made the polish look thin and uneven. A couple more layers would've made a big difference. What really frustrated me was the pedicure. When I first arrived for my 11 AM appointment, there were only three staff members: one at reception and two nail techs (including mine). Since another client was using the pedicure chair, my tech suggested starting with my nails, which I agreed to. But once we finished, she forgot that I had also booked a pedicure--mistakes happen, so I brushed it off. But during the pedicure, there were more issues. She didn't scrub my heels or legs, which is normally standard at every salon I've been to. It didn't feel like she cleaned or pushed back my cuticles. And the polish was thin, just like on my fingernails--it was clear that more layers were needed. Afterward, I was left to dry in a corner seat where no one could really see me (except maybe on camera). I was there for over 3 hours, and during that time, no one checked on me while I waited. I accidentally smudged my right toenail, and it took a very long time for her to come fix it. When she finally did, she removed the entire polish and repainted it--but didn't even add a top coat. I paid $160 total including a $20 tip, and honestly, it just didn't feel worth it for the service I received. I had higher expectations for the quality and attention to detail.
