When I called AIPM for a second opinion, I was greeted by a very knowledgeable and polite gentleman named Jordan. He spent nearly an hour inspecting our home (for free!) and shared there were 3 locations on side that needed treatment and the situation was not bad enough to require tenting. I asked a slew of question and he answered all of than knowledgeably. We then scheduled an appointment where Jorge, with over 10 years experience came to do the work. He was incredible and as he said, "small and nimble enough" to get up/over/around all the beams to treat areas and do a second inspection in others. He then cared entire attic with a Borax (sp?). It was a very reasonable price and I get a free inspection in 11 months to ensure no new termites, or the work is free. Highly recommend!

Chris was able to come out to our home quickly, and get a humane "trap" put in place that would allow the critter to leave on its own. The trap simply allowed the critter to get out of the house and not re-enter the hole, but did not actually trap/enclose it or cause any harm. Once we were certain the critter was gone, Chris came back to close up the space and prevent anything from getting back into our home. He consistently followed up with me to see how things were going throughout the process, and also provided some excellent tips on ways we could further critter-proof our home. Sure they can say that the rat was caught after initial cleanup but the fact is other areas were left dirty as well, with rat droppings behind a lot of appliances. Areas they blocked off so no new rats could enter. They simply did not clean as advertised. So if you're an out-of-town landlord who can't personally inspect their work, don't hire this company because they cannot be trusted.

So, we contacted four different companies through Yelp and waited for the quotes to arrive. Achieve was the *only* response that matched their own page (ie less than 1 hour). The others fell short by hours. Lance came out to observe and then spray the exterior of the house only. This was one of my requirements because we have dogs and our previous pest management company was able to keep the insects away by only spraying the exterior. Unfortunately, the ants persisted in one of the two areas. So, Lance came out again, and this time sprayed the inside. He spent about 5 minutes watching the floor, tracing the ants and pinpointing the access areas in the walls. His attention to detail seemed to have fixed the ant problem, at least for this season. All in all, Achieve responded quickly to my yelp messages and voice mails. Don't expect to reach them directly on the phone, but they will return your call promptly.

I live in National city and my original call to Agpest was for my flea problem. We don't have any…read morepets and no carpet. Just fleas left from previous owners that lived in the house I just moved to. A guy named Miguel came out and sprayed the yard and around the house. We were good for about a two weeks and I called about more fleas. Miguel wasn't available so another guy came out and sprayed and put bombs in the house. I was charged extra, but credited back for it. They assured me the flea cycle would break after a month and I wouldn't have anymore. During the 8 months of using them, he was late and no call no show on some appointments. When I called their dispatch, they said they'll reach out to the tech and would call me back. They never did, I had to make the call back and dispatch said the tech couldn't make it. I lost a whole day of running errands because of that. By the 8th month, I was still having flea issues and when the tech came to spray I asked if he's going to spray for fleas and the tech said no. I asked why not, I've been under the assumption that he's been spraying for fleas every month. He said its an additional cost service to spray for fleas. I said to the tech, okay that's why I'm paying you. He responded by saying I need to call and add that service for additional cost and also that's my fault because I don't have a secure yard to keep stray animals out from bring fleas. I canceled service after that.
