Sadly, we lost our first puppy very early after he was hit be a car, The Animal Clinic we so thoughtful, caring and kind to us. I remember saying to my husband, I'm so glad we found this vets as they have been great with us. Happily, we recently rehomed a puppy and again the staff have been brilliant. I cannot praise them enough. Initially, I chose The Animal Clinic because of practical things ie free car parking, easy access and clean, modern building, but since visiting them they have surpassed all expectations. We used Hill Park vets for over 30 years firstly at Harold Hill then at Elm Park. We never had any…read moreissues as thankfully all of our pets were relatively healthy. Then sadly our 3 year old Cockapoo become very Ill. It's a very long story but he was misdiagnosed and after a lot of different medication which wasn't working, we took the advise of our insurance company vet and had him castrated. This did work and the health issues he was having cleared up. A year later he become unwell again and again lots of medication which didn't work. Hill park seemed very tunnel visioned assuming is was a reoccurance of his previous condition . Eventually he became so sick was transfered to a amimal hospital, who correctly diagnosed his condition. Sadly at this stage it was too late for a recovery and he had to be put to sleep. I really regret not getting a second opinion from a different vet practise but I what made all this so much worse was our treatment afterwards. Our dog died on the 1/12/2021, it took many phone calls and emails to finally get Hill park to complete my insurance forms in Feb 2021. We were treated as if we were a nuisance and was spoken to with rudeness and impatience. We were devasted after losing our dog but the reality was it was also causing us financial hardship because of the lack of speed getting the insurance money espcially during covid and over the Christmas holiday. Eventually when the forms were completed, one was incorrectly filled out, Hill Park claimed to have treated our dog for aneroxia which wasn't true. The animal hospital he went to, had to treat him with a feed tube at that stage because he was so gravely ill. The person who filled out the form at Hillview admitted that because the vet was on holiday she had just copied the other animal hospitals form. This meant that I didn't get paid out £1200 of the insurance costs. Despite many more phone calls, emails, letters of complaint I have just been ghosted and ignored. They have tried to justify there misdiagnoses by trying to tie up his two conditions which were completely unrelated. They have shown no compassion, no respect and have been completely unprofessional when it comes to customer care. The Irony of this situation Is that you can't walk out of the door at Hill Park without paying your bill but they can hold on to your insurance claim for months. I now use another vets and the difference in the care we receive is striking and it costs the same and insurance claims are settled in a matter of days.

My only complaint about this vet is the distance we must travel to get there. I was rejected from my insurance, and Goddard refused to help in any way, so I had to use my savings, and put about £6,000 on my credit cards, in trying to save her. A few weeks later, their tactless and callously abusive vet who in the same sentence as was telling me my girl wouldn't make it from a uterine infection that had occurred due to her low immune system recovering from surgery, also stated it was, and I quote, "my fault she was dead, for not getting her fixed;" they're a disgustingly cold and money hungry practise, and they all should be deeply ashamed to work for such a company. They have spent countless hours and resources squeezing me for the debt over the last few years, never once offering any help with the situation. They have now sent me to collections on the final few hundred, after I asked them to clarify my remaining amounts. I advise everyone I know and meet with pets not to use their services unless absolutely necessary, as they are only concerned about the money, and i feel treatment is often substandard (see other reviews online to corroborate these observations). There are many other veterinary practices and emergency vet hospitals out there who will actually value you and your beloved friends, you have been warned..

They scammed me like no any other scammers will do. they said my cat will be absolutely fine after a simple procedure of unblocking his urinary, but they knew straight away, that he is going to die but they never told me this, they didn't give me any choice, they just said he will be treated and I have to pay for treatment, but they didn't ask me if I want to leave him for this procedure if there is no chance for him to survive and now they want me to pay them £3000, for his death, which they knew about before but never told me about. They do not record your conversation with vet on the admission, where you get scammed, so now they say I have no evidence of what she said. They obviously doing it on purpose to scam you. Please whoever going to their hospital, you must record secretly what they promise you, so you can have an evidence of their scam. But better don't go there, because they will never save your pet, they just will let pet die, because they know, that they can extract money from you one way or another, so why bother even try something. It's better to let your pet die for free at home, than pay to those scammers. Stay far away from this nasty scammers.

Instead of compassion, I was met with shocking rudeness from the brunette woman at reception. She immediately told me she couldn't help me because I'm not on benefits. Then, rather than offering any support, she began commenting on my age -- I'm 17 -- and said I shouldn't be responsible for a pet and that I was being irresponsible. I came in seeking help for an injured animal, and instead I was judged and spoken down to. What makes this even more upsetting is that when my mom later spoke to the same staff member, she claimed that they help everyone -- not just people on benefits. The complete contradiction and the way I was treated differently is incredibly concerning. No one asking for help with an injured pet should be met with judgment or dismissiveness, especially not a young person trying to do the responsible thing. The lack of empathy and professionalism was honestly heartbreaking during an already stressful situation.

Despite being a charity also struggling to raise funds they then stepped in when no one else would for my cat Sox, they agreed thanks to Celia to fund what was needed and give me time to fund any surgury, this included x rays blood tests pain relief interpretation of xrays potential transport of patient to other branch out of hours visit by nurse for top up medication to name just a few things she needed Sox had a fractured pelvis meaning surgury was an absolute must they where happy to give me time being so kind compassionate and understanding of my situation to try and do this despite how hard they may find getting funds to support all the animals just like my sox! Then a Celia Hammond Supporter and myself had a conversation before I knew it thanks to such amazing people sox has surgury in the next few days to correct her fractured pelvis...!! I will be eternally greatful for the intervention celia Hammond did... Putting the whole of the rest of London in pure shame for their encouraging an animal to suffer without treatment proof of eligibility or even payment plan offer yet celia Hammond in true form showed the rest of London what it means to truelly show an animal care compassion and fight for them the way these other charities claim they do, cannot imagine where we'd be without their support honestly so please where able please do donate because it directly helps cats like my Sox actually have a chance... Home Vets London came to the rescue when I needed a last minute Animal Health Certificate to…read morerelocate from UK to EU because my regular vet informed me that they weren't going to be able to do it. Nuria was the first person I got in contact with and she was extremely kind, friendly, and always answered my questions in a timely manner throughout the entire process. Dr. Jose was the one to physically come to our house and not only was he also extremely kind, but my dogs absolutely loved him (and they usually are petrified of vets). He got on the floor to play with my dogs and gain their trust before doing any work. Dr. Cesar became like a friend throughout the entire process. I had a different case because my rabies and all my documentation came from the USA originally; however, there was an issue with the paperwork from the original USA vet. Dr. Cesar worked with me even during the weekend to help get this issue resolved with my original vet in order for my dogs to be able to travel. I was such a nervous wreck but Dr. Cesar did everything in his power and thanks to him and his team we are all now in the EU in our new home. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this team. They were amazing from the very first email all the way to the follow up from them to make sure we got to our new home safely. I only wish I had met them when we first arrived in London as I would have loved for them to have been our vet from the very beginning. Thank you so much to the entire Home Vets London team!!
