We have eaten here multiple times. The level of service and dining experience has greatly deteriorated. The first two times when the store was new was great. However since then the store employees have become disconnected from what's going on. Today there was only 1 girl packaging meal, taking orders, wiping tables and running the cash register. While we watched 3 other employees taking breaks and standing around on their phones texting all while standing at the counter. The girl who was working had to ask the other employees to take their break at the tables not at the counter. What has become the worst part of eating there is that from 3pm to 5pm the dining area is taken over by kids from the local school district who bring in their phones to charge a d all have water cups or drinks from outside business. There were about 20 kids and they were all just hanging out making a mess moving tables and chairs, cursing loudly, 2 of them even had small children with them. These kids come here EVERY DAY after school to wait for their parents to pick them up after school. No food or drinks was sold!!! If this is the new NORMAL, then we will no longer be eating there. read more

My chicken slider was beautifully crispy, the flavor was immaculate, and it had the absolutely ideal ratio of richness from the chicken and acidity from the slaw and pickles. The bun was soft and delectable, buttered and baked to perfection. The fries had a shatteringly crisp exterior, yet a pillowy soft interior, all the while remaining perfectly seasoned. To further enhance the experience, the location is impressively vibrant, clean, and well maintained. The television entertainment was exquisite and perfect for my tastes, while the music choice was groovy and satisfying. But the real star of the show was the outstanding customer service. The particular employee who served me, Kalaia, was nothing but warm, hospitable, and respectful. She was thoughtful and went the extra mile to ensure that my experience was the best possible it could be. If I could rate Angry Chickz, and Kalaia in particular, I would give it 10 stars out of 5. Good sandwich. Went in on a busy day they were quick and efficient. So I'm used to spicy food and the girl warned me I got hot and yeah it's definitely hot I think I'll get med next time I'd say definitely hotter than habanero . We went here for the first time after driving past it millions of times. From the get go, we weren't greeted and it wasn't clear whether the cashier was ready for us to order. She was cleaning the counter and restocking the cups. -- Then after attitude and a blank stare from her, we figured we'd begin ordering. I was unsure about the seasoning so I asked if it was comparable to buffalo or wing stop, she looked at me as if I was crazy. I absolutely understand that it doesn't have to be comparable, but it would have been nice for her to explain that it's not a sauce spice.. it's moreso a dry rub. Throughout the entire time of us ordering, it seemed as we were an inconvenience. While we were ordering.. a girl came back to the counter to correct her order and clarify what she wanted. I had the same modification so I gently said "oh! i want to clarify I do want the spice on the chicken.. just not the secret sauce".. once again, I was met with a look as if I was dumb for even saying that because "she knows.. that is what she put in". The atmosphere of the place is extremely dull, but that's okay. It's not my place to care about that. It's just a place to eat. The food was not good (in my opinion).. the dry rub spice overpowered the mac and tenders. If I ever come back, I'll do without any spice. I just wish I had been told when I asked. One positive is the girl who took over for the cashier we had, was extremely sweet and met everyone with a smile. I'm so sad to write this. I LOVE fried chicken and I'm thrilled to see a new spot in an older area. I understand when you go late, less supplies become available, but I really didn't expect to get what I did. The place looks fantastic, smells fantastic, and the man up front tonight was super kind and happy. I waited about 20 minutes which is 100% appropriate for good fried chicken. I got a combo with fries, a chicken sandwich, and a tender on bread. The tender was given to my brother and was 10/10 and the sandwich and fries were mine. I was SO excited and it smelled and looked to die for! I took a bite of my sandwich and it was just bread, I thought maybe I held it wrong and took another bite, all bread. I opened the sandwich and there was the saddest little tender in the corner of bun, and when I put it back together it FELL APART!! (Pretty much emulsified.) The chicken itself was absolutely amazing. No dis AT ALL to the flavor it's bangin' but I'm so disappointed at what I was served. Service was amazing! Chicken is nice and juicy and the different spice levels are great. Love the slaw and the really creamy Mac n chz. My only tiny gripe is the entrance. When you come in, it isn't clear where to line up. Some people came in and went right to the register, not seeing that there was a line to the side making space for people to walk in. Oblivious people are not their fault, but a small sign would be nice, or just letting them know where to line up to order. read more
