I walked in right when they opened (10AM) and I'm glad I did -- they get busy and space is limited, so a little patience goes a long way. Martha did my pedicure and gel-x nails and she was amazing. She was detailed, professional, and so easy to talk to -- our conversation flowed the whole time. I was very happy with the results. I also loved supporting a Latina-owned business. A child was running around the salon crying, yelling, bothering customers, spraying people with misters, playing with the lights, turning them on and off, filling cup holders with water, and even throwing calculators. The parent, who appeared to be one of the nail techs, sat on his phone watching videos and playing games while paying no attention at all. On top of that, several workers were sitting in the massage chairs eating, one was vaping, and conversations were extremely loud. I don't mind normal conversation, but this felt less like a salon and more like walking into someone's home during a party. It was uncomfortable and far from relaxing. The cleanliness and organization were also concerning. Christmas decorations that appear to have been hanging for years were still up and visibly dusty. Stock was not put away. Boxes of nail tips, boxed UV lamps, and napkin boxes were stacked near the front of the salon where everything was fully visible to customers, which added to the overall feeling of disorganization and neglect. That said, Rom did an excellent job on my nails. He was professional, focused, and clearly skilled. My nails turned out great. If it hadn't been for how confident I am in Rom's work, I would have walked out before my service was even over. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere ruined the experience.
