PLEASE DO NOT ENTRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES FOR LONG TERM CARE. My grandmother was in…read morethis facility for 3 years until her passing earlier this month. This place is ABSOLUTLY ATROCIOUS. While I hear, "All care homes are like that," I highly recommend doing your research before sending your family member to any facility for long term care. Unfortunately, I didn't have any say in where my grandmother was going to stay as she transitioned from being home to a facility. Baypoint Health Care Center was where Kaiser sent my grandmother post procedure since everywhere else was full and I think my uncle decided to stick with it since we didn't know any better. To be completely honest I can't think of anything good to say about this place. Sadly, visiting my grandmother was hard. It was hard to see her in such a depressing place and hard to leave her there. Walking through the hall on the way to visit my grandmother's room I could hear patients calling for help while nurses sat chatting at the nurses station or were nowhere to found. There were times when I came in and my grandmother was calling out for help because she had either wanted to use the restroom, soiled or bed or simply wanted to sit up. It's extremely sad to see residents being neglected. Yes, NEGLECTED. One of the worst things that happened while my grandmother was in HOSPICE was finding her ON THE FLOOR when we entered her room. My grandmother liked to sit up, so I'm guessing the staff put her in a sitting position and at some point she must have slipped or fell off the bed. By the time my uncle found her, we didn't know how long she had been on the floor but my uncle did say he could hear her calling for help from outside the glass door. Why hadn't anyone else inside heard and come to help? Also in her last few weeks, somehow she lost a front tooth. She couldn't tell us what happened, just that it was gone. Lastly, in her last days she called out in pain and suffering. It got to the point that we decided to up her medication to keep her comfortable. But before that, it was scary to hear my grandmother called out asking, "Why did you hit me? Why would you beat me? I didn't do anything to you." On this day, I did notice my grandmother had a bloody mouth which none of my nurses and uncle said she had the day before. It's hard to tell if she has hurt herself on the bed on accident overnight or if someone truly hit her. To my disgust my grandmother also pointed to her head while crying out and when I examined the side of her head it was injured with a lump and behind her ear. For the sake of the residents at Baypoint I hope that there really isn't someone there with such a bad heart and malicious intent to actually hurt someone in hospice. My grandmother was in hospice for 5 weeks and in that time I saw and heard the worst of Baypoint. Thankfully, my family and I were able to visit my grandmother and have someone with her almost everyday of her last 5 weeks of life. I was even there when she passed. I thank the Lord that she was finally at peace and no longer in that dreadful place. Aside from the horrible care, I cannot leave this review without commenting on the horrible food. If you thought hospital food was bad, the food at Baypoint is absolutely disgusting. Do you think my 90 year old grandmother enjoyed dry hamburgers, overcooked, butter slathered brussels sprouts, overly salty green beans or fatty pork? She never wanted to eat that stuff and when we brought her food, she ate like she hadn't eaten for days. I understand the work is hard and the patients can be difficult, but this is the job you nurses signed up for. I beg you to step up and have a little more compassion and be more responsive or move on to another position. It takes a person with a big heart to do this work and care for residents all day and night. To the owners of this place, listen to your customers. Check on your management and staff and I dare you to put your own family in that facility. With the amount of money you're from these residents I know you wouldn't dare put your family in your own facility but would rather find better care. Aside from all of this thank you to nurse Lupe on the hospice side and the cleaning lady (I'm sorry I can't remember her name). I felt these two ladies were extremely honest, compassionate and are commendable. Thank you for your service.

Great place! My…read morehusband was recovering from small strokes and BayPoint took excellent care of him for three weeks. No COVID19 cases, very clean environment and cordial and professional staff. My husband was dissatisfied with only one employee. Overall he was satisfied with the care and the food. Being that he only wants to eat my home cooked meals I was worried that he wouldn't eat, but he was satisfied with the favor of each meal. Also me and my family were allowed to stand outside his window and communicate by phone with him, which made me so happy because I'd never been away from him for that long length of time. Kaiser sent him there as a second option because Vallejo's rehab was full and he would have to wait a few weeks for the transfer. I was scared after reading some of the reviews, but I learned that you have to experience things for yourself.

Our child was a late talker, so we did our research and found East Bay Child Development Center…read more(formerly PLTA). From intake to our final class, the staff made sure that the scheduling process was a breeze, and that visits did not fall short of expectations. They have an excellent staff dedicated to your child's development, and the office is pristine. Not just clean; very well kept. I noticed that there wasn't one tear on a book or broken toys. They put lots of effort into upkeep, knowing well that toys and books can take a beating with younger kids. East Bay Child Development Center has terrific speech therapists and therapists specialized in helping in all other types of child development, including but not limited to physical therapy, etc. We went through 2 different speech therapists and 1 or 2 therapy students which was a little harder for our son to grow accustomed to because it would take him awhile to warm up (which I've learned isn't unusual for any development therapy center), but each therapist tried their absolute best to ensure they were giving him the utmost care and attention.

That speech is not a good fit for him, that his sister runs around the hallways exploring toys and opened doors of offices, about me get a phone call so they discharged him from services. This is racism and discrimination by the way ladies I want to give you suggestions, your office needs a new administration, organisation and functionality. Everybody there seems to go everywhere, I don't know if these people work here are they clients. The back door to the outside was open, this is called dysfunctional. The office receptionist was like his first day to work, confused and looked around like a lost boy. There four people by office were speaking loud and chatting. They failed my son years ago when he was younger because they said he was not ready for speech when I just changed my insurance to get accepted to come here. Now he's 12 years old saying he's not a good fit. Shame on you to say that to me. You can't discharge him that's illegal. My son is trying with his speech and he has rights in California to receive speech therapy any age. Discrimination by the ability, then age, what's next because his sister running around the office and also I was on the phone? For that lady who spoke with me today over the phone couldn't wait on me. And making me feel like I was being fired from the job, she sounded rude and said my daughter was running around the room and I was speaking loud on the phone so the excuse to fail my son. Then changed her words saying he's not a good fit and he runs fast and wants to push the kids. She needs to find more excuses for her to dismiss him. You don't know how hard and challenging to be a mother of autistic kid. I finally thought I have him his speech going and then you locked me up like shutting my mouth. Go see if your speech therapist is the one who has the problem. She too lazy to give speech therapy or has a lack of skills. This is Shameless and discrimination.
