Having younger kids (grands) and others in our group we love the exclusiveness of the resort. We've met some of the same guests year after year. It's so tranquil and peaceful, just what a vacation should be. The kids love the swimming area, the cabins a yurts are always clean. We fish, we rent a boat, we've seen bald eagles, osprey and the kid's favorite, turtles. It's a dog friendly resort, which is one of the main reasons for loving The Narrows.

Our usual place was unavailable because the town's water was mostly shut off due to a water leak. I'm so glad that we stayed here alternatively because it was a nice location and our room had a view of the lake! Additionally, our cottage was so clean, almost pristine and it felt private enough that I was able to get some much needed rest and sleep after severe jet lag. The owners obviously take pride in maintaining the property and even the pool looked so inviting but it was too windy and cool when we were there. We stayed for four nights and I slept all day twice while hubby was out fishing. There's a Safeway, Dollar Tree, and Grocery Outlet to shop at nearby and Walmart if you go a bit further away. Nothing negative to say about this place and it's good to know that there's a clean and relaxing spot to enjoy some rest and relaxation at the lake!

Very tight space to get a 34ft trailer and a long bed truck to park thru. There were canoes on the side free to use for guests. Also life jackets for adult and kids. Kids spent the morning fishing behind our trailer by the fire pits. Picnic tables also for every spot. A cute little hang out area near the canoe. Games in the room by the office and also bathroom/showers available. There wasn't much space for kids to ride there bikes. Was a great stay still.

We arrived in the evening, around 6pm. The signs were not clear on where to check in (or not check…read morein at all in this case) and no one was there to speak to. We finally found where we were supposed to be and decided to just pull in and get set up for the night. The camp sites were VERY short, we were barely able to fit our unit in, which was not what the website stated. There were also lots of trees hanging down and overgrown that made it difficult to get in. All of the other units in the camp ground were covered in spider webs and overgrown weeds/grasses. Clearly many people had not moved their units in a long time and several probably had not had people inside them in a long time either. Overall it was not a very comfortable place to be. I would not have felt comfortable staying there as a female alone. The lake is right across the street but it was buggy, hot, humid, and smelled like sewage. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone to stay, nor would I stay there again myself. Luckily we were only passing through for the night and only there maybe a total of 12 hours, but that was even too long.

The park itself is beautiful peaceful lake views, well-kept grounds, and such a calm, relaxing vibe. Everything was clean and easy! Full hookups worked perfectly and the whole place felt safe and cared for. We loved taking morning walks with our dog around the property and just soaking in how quiet and serene and perfect for unwinding together. But what truly made this stay special was the management. She is hands-down one of the nicest, most attentive people we've ever encountered at any RV park. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of what she runs, and it shows. But what made it truly unforgettable was Rachel and her incredible team. From the very beginning, Rachel made everything feel easy. She's organized, intuitive, calm, and somehow manages to be both laid-back and on top of every detail. I never felt overwhelmed, never stressed. I fully trusted her, and that trust paid off a thousand times over. The florals were perfect--gorgeous but not fussy, exactly in tune with the setting and the vibe we'd envisioned. Her staff was so kind and attentive, and the whole event flowed effortlessly thanks to their care and presence. Guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was, but also how relaxed and fun the day felt. There was no pretense or pressure--just love, laughter, tacos (SO GOOD), and pure joy. Rachel also helped us source our hair and makeup artist (who was amazing), our dessert vendor (adorable and delicious), and even supported our late-night In-N-Out plan. She managed every piece of the puzzle with grace and humor, and made sure we got to actually enjoy our wedding day. (Which we did. Fully. With Palomas. And a piano man. And guacamole on my dress.) We've joked with our guests about making this an annual thing, and honestly? We might not be joking. Yokayo is that special. He works from sun-up to sundown taking care of the property and it definitely shows. The location itself is fantastic being right on the water, with its own private pier that can be used for fishing or just enjoying the sunset. Both visitors and permanent guests are super friendly, with a real feeling of family. I thought I (and my son) would always be "city folk" but now having gotten a taste of the slower pace, we can never go back.

Our son and his fiancé were to be married there before the beer festival and it went so well! The camp host, Reese, took such good care of us. She was kind, friendly, and oh so helpful! The crew that runs the maintenance part is amazing, as well! Becky, John, and Connor did all they could to make our stay comfortable and joyous. It is such a great community feeling there! Our rv sites were clean and mowed when we arrived. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The price of the sites is very inexpensive. Bring cash! The amenities nearby are plenty. We were able to get propane for our fire pits right down the road. We enjoyed visiting the nearby wineries and Anderson Valley Brewing Company. The grocery store has a deli and there's a taco truck right out front! We will definitely be making a trip back!
