Kids spent the morning fishing behind our trailer by the fire pits. Picnic tables also for every spot. A cute little hang out area near the canoe. Games in the room by the office and also bathroom/showers available. There wasn't much space for kids to ride there bikes. Was a great stay still.

We stayed in a Yurt. It was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The Yurt had a nice kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Family is what the Narrows is all about. Fridays have a nice community fire by the lakeside for s'mores and socializing with other guest. Every Saturday night is movie night by the lakes edge. The Narrows truly wants that family chill vibe at the resort and does a great job of creating it. This is not the place to come for drunken loud partying. I know other guests and I really appreciate the wholesomeness of the entire resort and the experience it provides our families. I watched my young daughter catch her 1st fish ever, from the dock. She talked about her newfound love for fishing and swimming with the other kids, for the entire drive home. My older kids paddle boarded across the lake. The kids loved the pontoon boat ride around the entire lake, with rope plenty of swings dotting the lake. The afternoon ice cream from the on-site store for each of the kids in the afternoon were a daily highlight. The Narrows is doing everything right to make it all about families and we will definitely be coming back annually.

The park itself is beautiful peaceful lake views, well-kept grounds, and such a calm, relaxing vibe. Everything was clean and easy! Full hookups worked perfectly and the whole place felt safe and cared for. We loved taking morning walks with our dog around the property and just soaking in how quiet and serene and perfect for unwinding together. But what truly made this stay special was the management. She is hands-down one of the nicest, most attentive people we've ever encountered at any RV park. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of what she runs, and it shows. Plenty of parking, well lit and freshly paved there is parking in multiple areas. We were able to park close to our room each night. The Gerhardts are responsive renters, addressing both immediate issues when they (rarely) arise, and listening to feedback on potential improvements. In 2023 we were pleasantly surprised to find new carpeting, blinds, appliances, and furniture. The house itself is spacious, nice kitchen, dining area and second "living room" for some isolation between TV watching and game night. The hot tub is nice too.

I'm so glad that we stayed here alternatively because it was a nice location and our room had a view of the lake! The owners obviously take pride in maintaining the property and even the pool looked so inviting but it was too windy and cool when we were there. We stayed for four nights and I slept all day twice while hubby was out fishing. There's a Safeway, Dollar Tree, and Grocery Outlet to shop at nearby and Walmart if you go a bit further away. The customer service here is not great. The people are nice enough, but the people working the front desk do not seem to know the answers to even basic questions. Even though the place was completely empty, they charge for an early check in. Our reservation was not correct, and they put us in a regular double room instead of the suite we asked for. Had to return to the lodge and get all new keys and room after unloading and reloading the car. We also paid for a late checkout, and we still got locked out of our room and no one responded to our call. We had to go down to the lobby, which isn't easy here, after being promised someone was on their way. Getting anything takes forever or no one knows the answer. We stayed Saturday to Monday. Unfortunately, the onsite food service and bars close at 3pm on Sundays even though that was our full day there. The tiki bar was hardly open to get drinks by the pool. Essentially the only thing to actually do here is swim in the pool, get a massage, or use the gym. No kayak rentals, no mini-golf course, no pontoon cruises, etc despite all of this being advertised on the website. It was mostly empty and felt very abandoned in most parts of the property. The highlights: the pool is nice and people were very friendly. The bartender was awesome and went above and beyond to do what she could. The actual suite was nice, but not worth the price based on the other amenities being unavailable. The massage therapist was amazing! If the owners put any effort into this place, it could be great.
