We were Both busy during Valentine's Day weekend so we decided to come to Angeline's the following weekend and believe me they did not disappoint. Our server was great making sure we were accommodated appropriately. And the food was amazing I had the Filet Mignon Prosciutto wrapped Steak and the flavors were outstanding. The Ambience was small intimate setting making it very enjoyable and easy to get talk over cocktails and food.

Excellent experience! The ambiance & service is upscale without feeling snooty. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. The dining room we were in was cozy & romantic. Food was delicious!! I don't have a single complaint- we had the fig & prosciutto focaccia, wagyu & lobster tail, filet & fried gnocchi and sticky toffee pudding. Yum! Also, we watched them serve the branzino to the table next to us- interesting to watch & smelled amazing.

Thought this was good but not my favorite! The lasagna sheet appetizer was interesting, a little crisped.

Food was good but very expensive. Service was ok but our waiter was not very attentive. He was busy chatting with a table he seemed to know and rarely checked on us. Thin lasagna special was delicious as was the Caesar salad. Beautiful outdoor seating on the porch.

Angeline is one of my favorite fine dining restaurants in Buffalo! Reservations HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! From the minute you walk in, you're greeted promptly and seated. Really pretty purse hangers are brought over to your table to hang your bag on. The cocktails are top notch and executed perfectly! My favorite is The Rose Room which has Vesper Martini vibes! We started with the Gulf Shrimp appetizer that was a special feature of the evening. It was incredible! I LOVE Gulf shrimp and I was sooo happy to see that was an option. I ordered the filet mignon and it was done just perfect; medium rare is how I like my filet. The prosciutto that it was wrapped in gave it a nice flair and it was topped with a red wine demi-glace and gorgonzola. The fried truffle gnocchi was melt in your mouth and the perfect accompaniment to the filet. The evening was wonderful and everything was top notch & excellent! Street parking is pretty easy to find nearby. If you haven't been to Angeline yet; I highly recommend it as soon as possible whether it be for a fabulous dinner outing or a special occasion!

New Yrs Dinner at Angeline - top notch experience

Perfect choice for a special occasion dinner. Dan and I celebrate New Year's Eve here and Angeline exceeded our expectations! The waitress Ariel was friendly and helpful explaining the menu & specials. We shared the prosciutto wrapped filet and the special: homemade pasta with caviar & chive on a light cream sauce. For a side we shared cauliflower au gratin. The drinks were a nice touch also - a Mezcal and limoncello cocktail. The food was exceptionally good. The filet melted in your mouth and the homemade pasta with caviar was the star! For dessert we shared rye spumoni ice cream that's so made in house. The ambiance was also stunning. Between the top notch service, food, and ambiance we can't wait to return to Angeline! Make a reservation through their website! Cheers to 2025!

Everything was absolutely incredible. The female hostess who greeted us was so very sweet and every member of staff was professional and lovely. The ambience is chic and quiet and dresses for women and jackets for me are encouraged, which we don't see enough in Buffalo, so it was a refreshing change. The fig and prosciutto starter is what dreams are made of. A must try. The lamb fell off the bone and the apple dessert was heavenly. This was our first time dining at Angeline's and absolutely will not be our last. An incredible experience over all.

Wow. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

The bartenders were all friendly, but Tom was particularly helpful. Checking to mate sure that everything was good and offering suggestions. I ordered steak in au gratin potatoes. He brought me cheese bread that was phenomenal. It was served with butter and some sort of sauce that I didn't try. I got a new york strip that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were shredded potatoes. They were okay but definitely not what I would have expected at a steakehouse. I would not order them again. They had carrot cake available for dessert and it was delicious.

We ordered a variety of appetizers, and the meatball and Mediterranean platters remain my favorites. You must try their homemade pita--light, airy, and with just the right chew. They absolutely know how to do steak. My side of almond broccolini unexpectedly stole the show. The bright burst of lemon was the perfect complement, cutting through the richness of the mashed potatoes and filet. As for dessert? Hands down, the chocolate mousse cake. If you're getting it to go, be sure to ask for the coffee gelato before you leave--don't miss out on this perfectly smooth, rich treat. Our guests are still talking about their meals!

While we had a 5pm reservation, in hindsight it probably wasn't necessary as we were seated right away and quickly greeted by our server, Allie G. To start, I ordered the Apple Cider Mule (mocktail) which was festive and delicious while my brother went for the Logan Mule (so Buffalo). Naturally, we wanted bread (what I thought was a given in an Italian restaurant). Sadly, it was $3 for warm bread, which felt a little rude, but of course I ordered it and devoured it, too! I also started with the mushroom bisque that was on special and it was fantastic as it was rich, flavorful, and the kind of soup you want to eat slowly so it lasts longer. For my entree I chose the Crespelle while my brother got his favorite, the Brasciole. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Everything was prepared well and very, very satisfying. I would say that the service, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. Not terrible, but not great. I hate having to ask another server to bring a box, the check, etc. because our server was no where to be found. There is free parking somewhere, though we only noticed the sign for it after we had already paid to park. That said, the atmosphere at Tappo is always lovely and the portions were generous for the price. Of course, I'd absolutely return - especially to try one of their fun igloos someday!

We went during resturant week and what a steal, $25 got me a casear salad, spaghetti and meatballs with a small assortment of desserts. I also grabbed truffle fries which we a special. THOSE should be a permanent thing. The meatballs were ginormous, they should (and i believe ARE) a meal themselves. My only only gripe is that you have to pay for the bread as an app. But that's just the carb lover in me. With it being restaurant week, it was busy for a Wednesday but our server was on her toes and made sure our drinks were full all the time and everything came out promptly. One thing I want to note, that I did not take advantage of is there is FREE parking as long as there's space. This was true for the day I went, not sure if that is always. But there is a small lot across the street that you can park at. I paid the $6.75 in the ramp that is basically next to the resturant.
