Then Wency showed me to the room (beautifully furnished) and instructed me on how to get ready. She left the room while I got dressed (I really appreciated the privacy of these moments). The whole process took 16-20 min. I thought I had good pain tolerance (I have many tattoos) but boy, did I underestimate the pain of a Brazilian Wax. Wency was very patient: she told me when to take deep breath and talked to me to distract from the pain. I felt really good after the appointment. Will be coming back in 5 weeks for maintenance! It is convenient as it is close to home if you live in the South Vancouver area. During my conversation with Mani, I told her that I was planning to go to Vegas in the next week and I had hoped to have my hair look more classy and wanted it to be fixed up. I had recently gotten my bangs cut by a different hair salon and was unhappy with the results. Also, my friend had given me an ombre treatment for hair, but it turned out orange and unnatural. Mani offered to fix it up for me ON THE SPOT and squeezed me in although she had a tight schedule. She gave me a dye job to make my ombre more natural looking.
