Jury's out on this one, as their $15 facial sign lured me in for some intelligence gathering…read more It's only a mini-facial, 30 minutes which prob means 20mins lol. And it's true you get what you pay for: didn't include extraction! Just cleanse, moisturizer, & a 'quick mask', whatever that means. Otherwise a full regular facial is $45, which is ok in this area. Could've dropped to a 2star but since i didn't try it, why would i--plus, it was fairly clean, lady was nice enough to barely answer my questions (but with a smile)...and allowed me to snoop around their display to see what kind of products they used... And mildly impressed: GM Collins, never heard of it, but the label says Made in Canada...so.... free parking in this mini-plaza.

I took a little bit of a hiatus from this salon. When I previously Yelped about this place I was…read moregoing every week. I recently went back and still think the 1 hour massage is decent. I was happy to see You-You is still working there as she will adapt the massage to your preference. I like deep-tissue and she is very strong so she has become my favourite!! As previously mentioned this is a low-key place. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles of a typical spa but how can you argue with the price? What they offer is a nice therapeutic massage at great value. I suggest paying with cash as you save a little bit of extra money -since you are saving them the banking fees ;)

I needed a massage to undo "computer neck" and a spasm caused by lifting a heavy object…read more Even though Mimco kind of seemed to be a "Gentleman's Spa" without saying this out loud...it's one block from home. What could go wrong? Upon arrival, "Anna" stared at me, finally asking, you want a massage? Yes, I booked online for a massage. She pointed to the services menu. I agreed to the listed price plus tip - I was going to take her time - and it would be unfair to stiff her. The treatment room is plain, but clean. A wax pot is the main feature. Okay. I was on the table face up, which seemed to horrify her - no, she said, I don't do any body, just back and arms and legs. As the gentlemen clients arrived, they were escorted by Anna to the showers, (yes, in the middle of my massage)...I am giving an extra star, right here, for Anna, for being gracious when clearly I was in the wrong place. No shower was offered to me. The waxing price list posted on the wall makes it clear that Mimco is full service for "gentleman parts" waxing. The entrance is quiet, with a small water fountain, incense, and Asian decor. I won't return, but a gentleman may wish to partake of the menu. Or any gender wishing full bikini or brazillian wax. Be firm, there is upsell for package services. Interesting adventure.

If you like getting scammed, this is the place for you. They have another set of "package"…read morepricing that they practically force you to purchase (about twice the cost of a regular massage) - the package obviously includes a H/E. There's also a laminated listing of what tips are expected at the front. Then when you get to the room, they tell you there's also a $60 room fee. Other reviews I had read elsewhere suggested the massage practitioners here were young? Umm...not when I went - I'm guessing late 50's/early 60's. Needless to say, I took my money and left as quickly as I could...as this older lady trailed me to the door trying to get me to reconsider. (thought she was going to chase me out into the street to try to get my $).
