When we went inside it was so small and we weren't even greeted or felt welcomed at all. There were 2 ladies there who barely spoke English and I felt like they were laughing at us In their own language. We were separated into 2 different rooms. I was told to take off everything and to leave my underwear on. The lady who came into the room didn't even knock when she came in. The massage overall was barely a massage. I felt uncomfortable because she kept massaging my butt area a bit too much and I felt too exposed. She offered that she can give a Swedish massage for an extra $15 and I said no. She put waaay too much massage oil on me and afterwards massaging one part she would wipe it off with a coarse paper towel. The massage and body scrub was done and as we were about to leave the place she said I had to pay the "groupon tax" of $10 which I have never heard of. Then she noticed I didn't tip and basically forced me to tip them. Overall, did not like the experience at all. Please do not waste your time coming here.

It is convenient as it is close to home if you live in the South Vancouver area. During my conversation with Mani, I told her that I was planning to go to Vegas in the next week and I had hoped to have my hair look more classy and wanted it to be fixed up. I had recently gotten my bangs cut by a different hair salon and was unhappy with the results. Also, my friend had given me an ombre treatment for hair, but it turned out orange and unnatural. Mani offered to fix it up for me ON THE SPOT and squeezed me in although she had a tight schedule. She gave me a dye job to make my ombre more natural looking. She added it a few streaks and redid my bangs, and also toned my hair to make it more blond. She also trimmed the ends of my hair to give it more style. Overall, I'm very impressed by the customer service. They opened recently and provide a wide range of services. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I got a follow up call and text from Wency to confirm my appointment, which I thought added a great personal touch. I've been getting waxed for 6+ years now and I have never had a more painless and effortless wax experience than with Wency. Since it was my first time coming into Waxmi, I came in a bit earlier than my scheduled appointment to fill out some paperwork. My first thought upon walking into the studio was "This is adorable!" Her studio decor is beautiful and girly, with plenty of artwork and aesthetically pleasing corners. There's even a bowl of gummies in the waiting area. I unfortunately didn't snag any this time around... but next time! Wency welcomed me with a big smile and immediately got me a little cup of water. While I was filling out the paperwork she told me she was just going to go clean the room and get everything ready. Once I was finished with the paperwork, she walked me back to the room and walked me through the procedures. Even though I've gotten waxed before, she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed, which I definitely was! During the procedure, we talked and laughed, in what usually would be an awkard situation for most. I didn't feel a drop of awkwardness at all, which is a sign that Wency does her job right! Rose nail is the third location (third sister) of this well run chain offering good service and prices in the Riley Park neighborhood. Chairs for manicure and pedicure stations were comfortable and have the massage feature (need to try that on my next visit). Technology was state of the art as they had wireless nail (for gel) dryers and this alone imparted a unique experience (cord free). Wow! Foot treatment was at the level of a private spa practitioner focusing on critical areas and applying immediate relief (thank you!). Nail treatment was great and pedicure was divine (see photos).
