We were in the area an hour earlier than we had expected. I contacted the salon to see if we could come in a little earlier. They were able to take us 45 minutes earlier with no problem. It really helped us get all our errands done and pick up our dogs that were having a spa day as well. Bella & Dafni did our pedi's, and each did a great job. The shop was VERY clean, and I felt they have good processes to assure everyone has a pleasant day without any worry about picking up any toe funds or any cold viruses. It's nice to have people take care of you while you are in their space. We will definitely be going back to this salon.

Because it's nearby, this is my "back-up" salon when I can't get to my regular place....and can't figure out why I keep going back. There are a lot of things they do right: no 80s-looking pop art decals on the windows, no posters of disembodied hands posing with a crystal ball, ice cream cone, or rose; and no sports on the TV when I last visited. The décor is nicer than many comparable salons. So are the massage chairs. However, I always feel like I'm an inconvenience to the staff. No one greets you at the door; instead you get someone shouting at you from a station as they file another client's nails. (To be fair, most places do this & I hate it.) I then waited in an empty massage chair for about 20-30 minutes before I was helped. The pedicure was good, but I feel like I get more for my money at my regular place (longer massage, more treatments). Note: I consider myself a "good" client. I routinely tip well, and I think I'm polite/patient with the staff. My worst visit there: the woman who was scrubbing my feet slipped and cut my leg with the stone, burned me with the hot towels, and then flat-out *asked* me for a tip. This time, my pedicure was much better. But...they vacuumed around my feet as I sat at the dryer. I took the hint and left soon.
