I know there are some bad reviews, but I've been going to them since they opened and I have to say that I always get the best service.

Total waste of money. Went for a pedicure...it was done in 10 minutes. Barely more than a polish change. They didn't want to cut cuticles, no massage, didn't scrub the bottom of my feet...awful! Worst pedicure ever. read more

The absolute rudest front desk I have ever encountered. I called to make an appointment and I was quoted a price for the service I wanted. As soon as I got there, the pedicures started to upsell me. I told her I would not go above $60... She agreed when I got to the front desk it was $65... I told the gentleman that the pedicure has told me $60 and I would not go above...He informed me we have no services for $60... The price is 60 and began to get very, very rude with me. I wish I could give negative stars....so rude. Always have been for the 20 years they have Bern there. The tech are so scared of the man owner. He yells at them. I needed an acrylic fill. He told me to pick color and where to sit. There are no price lists anywhere and they didn't tell me how much but I've gone to them before and it was $55 for a fill. She didn't clean under side of my nails...they are chipping and breaking the next day and they charged me $130.00. I almost threw up on him. I didn't need repairs. I didn't get any other service. Most of the reviews on here are very old or are by people who don't actually live out here. I get my nails done here every couple of weeks and they always do a fantastic job. I've had almost everyone who works there. Is it pricey? Yes.. but they have to charge more to be able to stay afloat out here unfortunately. It's a clean and comfortable space. It gets very busy in the summer so just call and book ahead if you don't like waiting. read more

Manicure was overpriced and sloppily done--the edge of my nails were left unsealed, and the polish was lumpy and streaky. They kept pushing additional services, even when we'd said we'd only come in for the manicures. My nails were uneven, and they added no base coat, so the polish chipped by the end of the day. They are very nice and accommodating here so points for that but honestly, this was the worst quality gel mani/pedi ever! For almost $150!!!!! My nails were uneven, did not cut cuticles and the polish was applied unevenly. Two pedicures for myself and granddaughter. rainy day, very busy but not even acknowledged at front door by male manager who kept shouting out to who owed what. Three different people worked on my granddaughter, leaving her feet in cold tub. my technician was good but $42 per person (one a 10 yr old) ridiculous for a 25 min service in a cramped and unkempt salon. wont be returning. read more

One star, unfortunately The manicurists are very nice and they do a good job. However, they use the same towels to wipe your hands after they have wiped the counters with it. Highly unsanitary. The owner/manager has probably browbeaten his employees to keep using the same dirty towel, so it's on him to correct the situation. I won't be back. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever received. Woman was nice, but not good at her job. Wish I could give this zero stars... it was such a waste of money. My mani pedi looks like a child could have done it. The woman finished my pedicure and brought me to the manicure table... when she sat down, she stepped on my wet pedicure with her dirty shoes... though she repainted the toes she messed up, she ended up messing it all over again when she took the tissue out from between my toes and smudged the paint. Gave them another try after I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else local. They are super rude here. Charged me $40 for my 10 minute pedicure and $40 for my 12 year old daughters 8 minute pedicure. Coco, who did my pedicure, was pleasant until she offered a spa pedicure and I said "no, thank you". After that, she was very annoyed and was extremely rude. Grabbing my feet and picking them up and sticking them back in the water like she was angry. The worst of all of our visit was that they took the utensils they used on my feet to a manicure station and used them on someone else's nails without being washed. Beyond disgusting. I've been going to this place for 20+ years. Today I went for a mani/pedi. I asked for Maria as she is great, but she was off. I ended up w/ a heavy set woman who was innately angry = so much so that I called for the owner's son and said I was leaving. Complete trash. Wish I could give 0 stars. I got a gel pedicure and a gel manicure. The lady doing my pedicure started using the wrong color and as I stopped her and tried to explain it was the wrong color she railroaded me by telling me it was pretty and just continuing. My manicure was a whole other story. I'm paying extra money to get a gel but that doesn't mean leave out all the things that come with a regular manicure like oh filing the nails and buffering. I received none of that and then was promptly switched to another lady who then proceed to do a rushed job and then basically kicked me out of the seat to attend to someone else. Hell no. I've been here 3 times out of desperation, and I leave regretful every time. Of all the nail salons I've been in the county and in the world, this one does the worst, messiest and most unprofessional job. Mimi makes the bulkiest, sloppiest nails and doesn't care when I ask her to file more and Sunny, though very sweet, makes the nails shape and polish crooked. Really frustrating, especially when they charge ridiculously high prices like $80 for an acrylic fill before the tip. I promise to never go back, but it's the only salon near me that does acrylic fill so that's the only reason I've gone back during last minute desperate times. I got a manicure here a couple of weeks ago and they just didn't put enough nail polish on my nails to completely coat them. I'd never experienced that before. The next time we went back and the woman in the front who I think is the owner refused to acknowledge us when we walked in, she looked at us disapprovingly and then walked away. It was so rude, I could hardly believe it. Her husband came over and took down our phone number and said he would call us when they had time to do a manicure. They're just not clean enough.The sanitizers don't even work. I was cut one day and immediately had an infection on my finger. Because I have cancer I can not take the chance of it happening again. The foot water really upsets me because they put the tools in the used water. In the dirty foot water then back in the case. I did call the Board of Health a few years back and it did get a bit better. Not for long. Those poor woman that work there have no life. Sad. When I had my nails done at this place it was horrendous. After the removal of the nail polish she used an electric file on my nails. It went so deep that my nails split to the point that I have to use band aides to protect my nail I went to the owner and was given no satisfaction at all. I am not a frequent review leaver but I had such an incredible experience at this spot I felt it was necessary to post as I almost didn't go there thanks to bad comments. I drive to NYC every two weeks to get my nails done so that tells you how picky I am. They "nailed" it! And they have hard UV gel and as far as I know the only place in the Hamptons that does. Kim is a technician with decades of experience and she did my nails fast and perfect. Lol honestly I did this to myself considering my first experience. Manicure fine, I just did regular polish and it was expensive but fine. I also got my eyebrows waxed which the first time they did a good job so I thought how bad could they mess it up. When she got done with my eyebrows I noticed the left one was barely even waxed but the right one looked nice and shaped. I asked her to fix it and she refused and told me I can fix it with makeup. I normally don't say anything and just suck it up but it's so expensive and they obviously were not done properly. I just don't understand why she couldn't fix it and why my right eyebrow looks so good and my left looks awful? I also asked if someone could fix it and I apologized but it just wasn't cleaned up and they went to fix it but fixed my right eyebrow not the left.
