Horrible sciatica pain, walking with a cane. Other Chiropractors did nothing but crack my back. Lightening bolt shooting pain as I limped into Janet Cirrone's office. She took the time to learn all my history and mapped the location of the pain. She used an icy electric Stym machine and oh boy! That felt amazing. Through deep tissue massage, pressure points and good smelling pain relief spray product...I walked out of her office without the cane!! Yes, it will take time to completely heal, but after my 2nd appointment, I have remarkably less pain. I've been a patient of Dr Cirrone's since she first opened her other office in Southampton, I think the late 90's. As a chiropractor she takes the time to massage before adjustments. There is no pressure to set up regular "preventive" adjustments like some chiropractors. She takes care of problems in a gentle, effective manner. Dr Cirrone gives fabulous massages. Dr Janet Cirrone is a life saver. I've been going to her for years. Most recently, I saw her for severe back pain that radiated down my leg. I had originally gone to Nyu ER to rule out a blood clot. They diagnosed it as sciatica and gave me muscle relaxers. Then I saw an orthopedist who wanted to give me a cortisone shot. Which hurts!!! And I felt I didn't want it. I don't like to get steroid shots. I had been bedridden for 4 days at this point. I couldn't walk, stand, bend. I could only lay down. I then traveled from NYC to dr cirrone's office in Westhampton/Speonk area. She squeezed me in at 9:30 am and poked and manipulated me. Gave me an ice pal and showed me the proper area to ice. I had been icing where the pain was, not where it was caused from! I was able to walk and sit and bend without pain. I saw her again later in the day and she furthered my progress. The ONLY thing that helps is a treatment with Dr. Cirrone. She has an amazing ability to find exactly what is bothering me and knows exactly what to do to make me feel better.
