Update: Held up alright so I'm keeping the same rating. One thumb nail broke and the polish overall faded from my original set but for the value and service you get, I'm going to continue to come here :-) Maggie did my Gel-X fill today and although Su did my original set, both these ladies were lovely and pleasant. However, this time the gel polish application wasn't perfect. Not painted evenly/spots were missed (check photos) but I'm alright with it because I didn't notice until I got home. FYI a Fill for Gel-X is the same price as a new set but I didn't have as much time today so I opted the Fill. read more

Everyone's always friendly. But it seems like there are nail techs that don't really pay attention to detail. I came in for a chrome, powder manicure. The nail tech did a poor job on cleaning my cuticles (clean cuticles are very important to me). I told her to fix it twice, to which after I was still unhappy with it. Then I asked for almond shaped nail, but she said my nails are too short for it and that coffin would be better. Coffin nail shape was not what I got. None of my nails matched in shape and some were crooked. The only thing I liked was the color that I chose: a red chrome (they also tried telling me there was no such thing as red chrome until I pulled out a photo to show them). Not even three days later, the chrome chipped off one nail and now I'm missing chrome on one nail. Not happy, don't think I'll return. read more

Sorry to say that during a manicure, my index finger got knicked. Even sorrier that it resulted in a visit to the walk-in clinic as a bubble and an infection became apparent. They look up at whoever walks in the door. Distracted or bored. A mishap waiting to happen. read more

They do amazing quality nails and pedicures. I highly recommend a 10 minute foot/calf massage, it was excellent for 12.00. They have the best prices, friendly service and do a thorough job. Highly recommend!! read more

Terrible. It was in/out in 20 minutes for a manicure that looked uneven and sloppy. Maggie didn't even glance at me, just kept talking loudly to her friend. I would never return nor recommend anyone go here. read more

The first thing you notice when you walk in to Epic is that it is very clean. Furnishings are up to date and running well. Mani, Pedi, waxing, all completed well. The salon is well managed and pretty much kept on schedule. read more

Salon is very clean very nice people were friendly.. however, the person I had today for pedicure, needs to go back and learn how to do it.. I paid for a vitamin E lavender pedicure for $29 and didn't get any of of the services in it..I did not even get a hot towel on my legs did not even get my legs massaged. Did not even get cream on my feet. about massage lavender I didn't get any of it and she was done so quickly. I doubt that I will be returning even the person I was with had a gel manicure, which was not good.. I've had many pedicures in my lifetime and the procedure is to soak your feet first and then start clipping and cleaning the This was all done without even putting my feet in the water. read more

I have been coming to Epic for YEARS. I was skeptical when the new owner John took over- but it has been a great experience. I always saw Ankila. She is no longer here unfortunately. Cindy is an absolute disaster, this was my third time giving her a try- I feel bad saying "no" to the person who comes to get you for your appointment. When John is not here on Tuesdays this place is a nightmare and workers act different- unfortunately I am off Tuesdays. I keep coming back and I keep trying because I like the owner and the salon itself. Hit or miss these days unfortunately. Make sure you have an appointment. read more

I'm a frequent customer at Epic Nails as it's not far from my home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating except for Cindy. The last 2 times I visited I was unlucky enough to get Cindy as my nail tech. I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure, but somehow it wound up costing me $70. I had a gel polish on my nails so had to soak those off for $5 which I expected to pay. However Cindy was so pushy and told me I needed all this extra stuff. She was relentless so I gave in thinking I'd treat myself for some pampering. I wish I could say it was worth the $20 extra it ended up costing me, but I was very disappointed. Never again! I'll drive the extra 5 miles not to get ripped off next time. read more

One star at best. The place is shabby and dirty beyond words. It was busy when I first walked in which makes me think that if I'd stayed I would've gotten a pretty decent pedicure but honestly I'm terries of getting another fungus and I didn't see them taking out new supplies for each customer read more

Had my first experience at Epic in Hampton Bays today. There were Pros and Cons to this. PROS: the shop is bright, well-ventilated and has plenty of color choices. It is very clean! CONS: Following old COVID rules of requiring mask for entrance and everyone felt like they were rushing around. It was not conducive to relaxation. I had an appt and had to wait 15 mins which is it an issue until someone with a later appt got seated right away. Susen did my pedicure. Nice person but was too rough and rushed around. I could have used a little extra time in my heels and when I told her I didn't want to pay an up charge of $10, she just skipped them. I got a spa pedicure which included a 10 min leg massage...she was completely done in under 40 mins. Next to me was Eva; she was much slower on her customer and deliberate in her actions. I would like to come back again and give it another shot with an appt with Eva. Hopefully, by that time, they will have relaxed the mask requirement as well. Hard enough to breathe in nail salons without the extra difficulty of feeling suffocated unnecessarily. read more

The cleanest and most beautiful nail salon in Hampton Bays. Such kind people and with their new location it is all so pleasant to get the nails done. I usually go for a pedicure and the girls do such amazing job by taking their time and making sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I would give this location a 10 star rating if I could. read more

I have been going to Epic Nails for almost 2 years now. Everyone there is very nice, and the salon is clean and has all the covid precautions. But I especially love that they do great gel nail designs that last for weeks! Many of my manicures easily last for month. Their work is clean and thorough, and they have a great selection of colors! read more

By far the best nail salon in the Hamptons! I got my nails done here one and I will never go to another salon. I had Dora, the nail tech do a Powder Ombrè on my nails (pictured below) and she took her time to make sure that each and every nail looked amazing. John, the owner/manager was very kind and was cleaning the salon, had fans going to filter in air etc. I even got a nice, relaxing massage as my I soaked my old powder off. Thanks Dora! :) read more

Shit manicure and pedicure... more like a polish change. Hugh rip off. I do not recommend booking with them

I usually go to Queenie nails on Main Street but decided to just give another salon a try. While I went here 3 years ago and had a good experience, this time the guy at the front door was so rude to me! He was also yelling at the woman he was working on. I asked for a pedicure. He said No! I was taken back and asked again. And he yelled at me again. I will never step foot in this place again. Disgusting. read more

Used to be clean and pleasant but now? Filthy dirty. The man who seems to be running the place ignored our appointment and barked at us to wait in two empty pedicure chairs -- footrests still covered in someone else's dirty yellow wet towels. A pile of other filthy rags sitting in the chair next to us. Really? COVID aside this place feels like a disease vector. I can't believe health department hasn't shut down. Never got to the pedicure (we left after 25 minutes of waiting past our appointment time) but how could it be sanitary?!? read more

Awful! I had to walk out! The girl was rushing so fast she kept dropping things. The gel polish didn't match the display, totally different colors! And then they started to yell at me!!! I left without them finishing my nails. And no have to find another place. She also barely pushed the cuticles back!!! Worst place ever! read more

I walked in without an appointment. I had been putting off getting my nails done for a few weeks and my nails were a complete disaster. Lucy took her time and helped me find a solution to my damaged nails. She was extremely helpful! I will definitely be back. My nails turned out beautiful! read more

I wish I could give this place more stars. The last FIVE times I have been here, I have had an appointment and they make me wait almost 30 minutes or more every time. Last week I had an appointment for 12pm and I got up and left at 12:30 and went somewhere else. I even watched a woman come in who said she had an appointment, and the owner told her "they were too busy and to come back later". My mother used to own a hair salon, so I am familiar with how appointments work. Even if you make an appointment, your allotted person will proceed to take a walk in 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. The times that I did stay, my nails did turn out good but I will not be returning. read more

I'M SHOCKED ! I never saw a filthier nail salon. They directed me to a table where there were nail cuttings on the table and on the chair and pieces of what looked like skin. I told her to wipe it down. Then I had to put my arms up on this thing covered with packing tape - no towel. She soaked my hand in a cloudy dish of water with 3 plain glass marbles. Hello? special effect? The girl's cuticle nips were questionable and her apron dirty, but after she did a rough job she put them back in a dirty cover for the next person. She then slammed my nails a few times with a 50 grade sandpaper buffer. No reason for that. At this point I had enough and was concerned about getting some infection . I paid, left and disinfected my hands in the car. Note: Nail salons have some customers with infections and fungus. Instruments have to be sterilized after each use ! It's the NY State law. Hygiene in primary. This place would be shut down if inspected. read more

Great prices, kind staff, quiet relaxing atmosphere! They even gave a great traditional punchcard program. Will absolutely be back!

Terrible. All about the money. They are rude and expect their tips to be half the cost of services. I gave them a few tries and they have never redeemed themselves. I should have listened to people that warned me. Oh, beware of the Sanitizing methods. Be smart folks. Deadly diseases are transmitted in more ways than one. read more

This place used to be good when they first opened and I was really happy with them but my couple past experiences have not been great. I went there once and they massaged my neck so weird and hard that I had neck pain for the next 3 days. I decided to give them another try and had designated a $10 tip for the $28 mani/pedi service - the lady apparently did not think that was enough and asked me "oh only $10 for both" - I think this is super rude and you are not required to give a tip!! I am paying for my services and I give you the tip I believe you deserve. She did such a horrible job on my nails on top of it, they all cracked in 2 days! they must be using really old nail polish. Not happy with this place at all. read more

I've been coming here a few times and I always come out with great nails. Staff is super nice and great at their work. Will be coming back !

Love this place!! They get busy so make an appointment. Absolutely LOVE John and Eva. They are excellent!

I loved my experience at Epic Nails. They took their time and made my nails look amazing. Ask for Tina!!!

the worst place I have ever been to. they speak no English and don't understand what you ask them to do on a simple Manicure. my appointmentwas for@2pm they were done at 2:10. If you respect yourself stay out the place it sucks. Plus you must wear a MASK. read more

They have new owners and things have improved immensely. Mani/pedi was great everyone was very friendly, but best of all they are one of the few nail salons in town following CDC guidelines for COVID; all customers hand sanitize upon arrival, your temperature is checked, they have dividers at all stations. The owner sanitizes chairs etc immediately after a customer leaves. Great work and thank you Epic Nails for doing everything to keep your customers safe. read more

EPIC NAILS HAMPTON BAYs : This was the absolute worst massage I have ever received !. If you like laying on an operating table, with florescence lighting on you . This place is for you . $60 + tip and I was being rolled like dough on a piece of paper ( literally) . The poking and pinching made the hour feel like forever . I have had MANY massages , and never seen this . as she did my legs with no oil pulling every hair off my legs was torture. She told me I had to leave my shorts on ??? On a full body massage really ?? She Never did my feet .... She was all over the place from one thing to the next , Horrible to say the least . No towel ??? At all ! I had to take everything out of my pockets , and nowhere to put anything . Please look at the pictures I have included . Is this sanitary? The hospital paper made every bit of noise you could possibly imagine. This was not relaxing ! This is my first post ever because it was that bad . No one even asked me how it was , but took the money ! Sad part is , it was a gift. read more
