I didn't have a great experience, just an average one and so I wasn't going to write a review because part of me felt like okay, maybe my standards are a little too high because I have this amazing nail salon in the city that I go to and they are unmatched by any nail salon I've ever gone to and they have great prices but alas I have moved from the city 2 yrs ago and have been trying to find a local nail salon. This one had good reviews on Google but I should have checked Yelp. To start, when I was getting my pedicure and the technician used the exfoliating brush, she pushed to hard, cut my skin off, and said nothing and didn't address the fact I was now bleeding. Then my daughter pointed out a roach behind the pedicure chairs. Next, when it was time for the color, they used the wrong color on me and my daughter because they don't have a good system in place and have, for example, 4 different colors that are all number 1 because they are different brands of polish so me and my daughter had to choose a different color, albeit similar so it was okay, but still a delay and inconvenience. Then when it was time to pay, the manager/owner (?) wanted to charge me more than what she had said on the phone. In the end, she kept her word but still frustrating to have to go back and forth and deal with that. But the thing that made me write this review is that my gel manicure didn't even last for 24 hours. I woke up this morning and about a third of one nail is without polish. I've never had gel last less than 2 weeks and this didn't even last 2 days! I had my nails done because I have a party this weekend and now it looks like trash. I got a really bad job done at the last place I went with the powder so I was just going to give it one more shot and I am so glad I did! The man did my nails and he took his time and perfected the shape and made sure there were no lumps or bumps! They also can do any color chrome which is a plus for me! I've done my SNS nails here before. They've done an ok job. I think my nails were to thick and they never removed my cuticles. I came to do them again. When they were removing sns with milling machine they pressed way to strong damaging my nail and burning it. I didn't want to do SNS anymore so I've asked just to do regular manicure. They have put conditioner on and results are in the picture. I was charged full price. Stuff was extremely rude when I decided to to regular manicure. I'll never come back there. Also their tools are not sanitize, they used same buffer as on previous client, it was very old . read more

My nails are pretty again! Moved from the city & couldn't find a place a really liked. I haven't had my nails done for a few months now so they were bad. I went in today as a walk in had Amy for a manicure & pedicure. She did an AMAZING job on my pedicure (Very thorough) which is really important to me so I decided to try a powder/dip manicure. It took a little longer then I a gel but so worth it! Amy explained everything as she went & again very thorough with cuticles & dry skin around my nails. I waitress so I don't like to do tips but she asked if I wanted a tip on my nails that was shorter. She wanted to make sure they look good & I was happy with them. Can't rave enough about Amy! I was a regular here and was Never treated "Nicely" they started talking about me im sure then switched me around to THREE different people like i was a "problem" just because i was trying to make them understand what i wanted and it wasnt out of the ordinary, just a couple tips to match my other natural nails and NOT to file my own nails at all as they didnt need it!!!! UPDATE: Nancy is no longer there, which is good. I've been coming here pretty regularly now, and I cannot stress this enough: Even with an appointment, you will wait. I usually wait at least 20 minutes with the average time being 1/2 hour. Again, THAT IS WITH AN APPOINTMENT. It's a huge problem at this point and I may be looking for a new place. Don't ever go if you have someplace you need to be afterwards. I've canceled several engagements because they take me so late every. Single. Time. A decent nail salon that I like expressly for the fact that they will do basically whatever you want to your nails--gel, acrylic, all sorts of nail designs, they are very up to date with the latest trends, and most of the girls here are excellent. If you're going for a manicure with natural nails, I would recommend Maricella, who does a very thorough and precise job! One complaint--Nancy is not very nice. I had an appointment for my acrylics, she happened to be available when I went in. She told me (in a rude an argumentative manner) it would be $20 more than what the other girls had done in the past! I tried to tell her the other girls had done the same service for me in the past, she was NOT hearing it, she actually got out of her chair and walked away! Mind you I am a regular customer! The worst nail salon I have ever been to. I went to do filling for my acrylics and she did it for 30 mins or less which my other regular salon even do it for more than an hour. I recently dropped by for a quick mani/pedi and it wasn't a great experience. Unfortunately, the male techs aren't as great as the females. Just really fast, sloppy work. Some of my nails are square, others are rounded and their supply of nail polish is limited as well as watered down. The pedicure is absolutely atrocious and to save face I won't post a picture. My big toe has no nail on the side as the tech continuously filed and cut the cuticle until there was nothing. Needless to say I wont' be returning. They can keep their crappy nail polish and lack luster service. I gave two stars as they do" attempt" to be professional. read more

Her nail polish is thinned out and she uses cheap products. There were brands I never heard of . Very disappointing experience -- technician was not paying attention to what she was doing during my pedicure, jabbed me twice, and then sliced my cuticle wide open to extent of much bleeding and need to end before nail polish. Was asked for payment despite the circumstances, looked towards owner who dismissed my concerns, was rude, and did not do the right thing. I don't get Erica's review but I must refute one of her claims-- it s simply not true. Not only don't they thin out their products but Nancy is the only one anywhere who will spend the money to buy the best quality products like TT polishes. TT doesn't give salons a discount so only a salon who prides themselves on using the best products and producing the best results would have this type of customer focus. I've been to a lot of nail salons here and in the city and this is by far the best for this type of shop. They are meticulous, careful, and top notch. I see a lot of mixed feedback here. I must say that I'm a local to the area and this is the place I go for any needs - manicure, pedicure, eyebrows. I used to do acrylics and was always pleased. If I ever had an issue, I spoke up (which is an uncomfortable thing to do, I know! but they're not mind readers) and they would make sure I was happy with how they fixed whatever it was; a sharp nail edge, a smudge, anything. I know what people mean by maybe feeling there's somewhat of an attitude - but I think Nancy is just a busy woman, running a shop and to the point. She's always very sweet to me, and remembers my name even after me not being in for a while! I recommend this place to my friends all the time. I have been here a number of times but am not a regular but exquisite nails is close to my home and at times easier to get into as a walk-in if i am in a rush (I normally prefer Tickled Pink in town). The woman who sits in the front and assists when you enter (I believe she may be the owner) has a lot to learn about service. She rarely smiles, acts as though she is doing you a favor and many times will not make eye contact when you ask her a question. I think this salon is the most professional and does, by far, the best job in the Hamptons. They are very fairly priced. In comparison to other local salons the experience isn't even comparable. They are kind and quick. No one wants to sit there for hours... It is a very busy, fast paced salon, but not rushed, and the customers keep flowing in. It's best to call and make an appointment because they are always busy due to their phenomenal services. Every single technician there does a fantastic job. For years I had one girl do my nails at a different salon. When I came to Exquisite Nails, the owner Nancy did them perfectly (I'm very picky), then I had Sam do them (perfection), I also had Jimmy (I think that was his name oops), and one other sweet lady whose name has slipped my mind. All of them did a wonderful job. Even the pedicures are great! Get the scrub!! As far as the previous review states, the owner Nancy is as sweet as a cupcake, and their nail polishes are definitely not watered down. Every woman knows that your polishes at home start to get thick so occasionally you have to cut it with a little nail polish remover to thin it back out. Maybe that's what she experienced?? As for me, I've never left there with streaks, I've never felt as if their products were cheap or bootleg lol. Who bootlegs nail polish?? Seems a bit far stretched... Don't listen to the last review. I was a faithful client for well over three years but Nancy and that attitude put an end to me using their services.
