I always have a positive experience and I have been going for years. No complaints and I'm not easy to please.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this was by far the worst pedicure I've had in a very long time. I chose the basic pedicure, but I certainly didn't expect to be rushed through the entire service in about 15 minutes. I'm not exaggerating, it was over almost as soon as it started. The cuticles were not cleaned properly, and the polish was applied carelessly, bubbling and flooding over my cuticles. The entire service felt rushed, and the quality reflected that. Honestly, I could have given myself a better pedicure at home. I've attached photos because they truly speak for themselves. I was very disappointed and expected much better, even for a basic pedicure. read more

I always go here for pedicures and love them so much. The people there are incredible and always so nice. I went there today to get acrylics done for the first time and they came out so good. I was worried about the flowers and design but they did an amazing job. Not only was the experience great, the price was as well. Base price for acrylic is 45 and the designs add more. I went in for an acrylic set and a pedicure for my boyfriend and I. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, cleanliness, and speed. However, I was very dissatisfied to see my acrylics chipping and falling off all within the FIRST WEEK. My toes have barely chipped 2 weeks later, but was very disheartened to see another nail salons low quality acrylic set fall off so soon:( another $100 down the drain, do better for your customers! read more

I hate leaving bad reviews as much as the next person but I hope the managers see this as constructive criticism. As someone who rarely treats themselves to manicures I look forward to a relaxing spa moment. The table under my hands was covered in nail clippings (not my own) and old chipped off polish. Half way through my manicure I asked the person doing my manicure to please clean the table because it was honestly gross. Next came eyebrow waxing, I pointed out the pieces of hair (again not my own) that we're stuck to the paper my feet were supposed to go on, instead of changing it, she folded it over. My nails are already smudged despite waiting 15 minutes for them to dry. I came home feeling the need to shower instead of feeling relaxed or pampered. This salon could really improve with some more detail towards hygiene. read more

I went here for years. There are several nail salons in Hampton Bays and this is the cleanest with updated equipment. The massages are always great too. They do struggle with nail art so if that's what you're looking for I would suggest a different location. read more

Things don't change much in Hampton Bays, aka Mayberry USA. When I came screaming into this world many moons ago, the main drag looked almost exactly as it does now (or so I've heard). The spot that's now Queenie Nail Spa, however, has changed hands more than a few times over the years. And while I can't remember many of the previous incarnations, my brain has definitely bookmarked this little gem. Prices are reasonable (especially considering this is technically the notoriously overprices Hamps), service is friendly, and they give you a mini massage! Huge score. Because life is stressful and I need all the shoulder rubs I can get. I totally recommend this little spot, and I'll be absolutely be back whenever I'm visiting my hometown hideaway. read more

I had a good experience. I came in for a gel manicure. They didn't soak my nails but my cuticles were cut smoothly and look great. The manicure is perfect- not too thick, clean lines, perfectly shaped nails. You get a complimentary shoulder rub...that was my favorite part! I am a fan of this place. My only complaint is they don't offer many services. In a town like Hampton Bays, they could be more competitive by offering facials, eyelash services, etc. They offer massages but sitting in a massage chair in the middle of the room...a little awkward if you ask me. read more

Great nail salon addition to Hampton Bays! The salon is pretty, big, clean and they do a good job! I thought the prices were very fair compared to other nail places in the area. But what I really appreciated was that my 12 year old niece got a mani pedi there and ruined her toes when she got home. She went back the next day to get them done over...and they did them over free of charge! I thought that was very nice of them, because she was going to pay to redo them. I went here around November time to get my first acrylic set. They have me a duck tip when I said coffin. The nails looked horrible and I wanted to cry. My mom even agreed they were bad. They are super friendly, very clean, nail and spa joint. They do various treatments and mani pedi specials. All Thier tools are sterile I've seen them open packages in front of me before using them, which is important to me. Despite a little language barrier I enjoyed every experience I've had here. I have not been back to Queenie since the woman doing my pedicure sprayed 409 (yes, the cleaner!) on my legs.

Clean store but sloppy service. Made a Thursday appointment the day-of for 5:50pm (they close at 7pm). Hands and feet session completed in one hour. She rushed my regular-polish pedicure, I left with callused feet. My gel-polish manicure was so sloppy the gel polish drooped and dried to the sides on my skin. I would go back only with an EARLIER appointment & the PATIENCE to point out the nail filing and polish was uneven. $48 total +tip. read more

They did good job with me , I'll never change the place though a little far from my place. The men could be a massage therapist in his country. Make me relaxing and fabulous experience. I'm not too sure what happened to this place but it seems to have gone down hill. I have been back twice since my first review and it's been empty both times. My manicures have been rushed, I have been cut once, and the gel polish is not evenly applied. It also chipped easily the last two times. They used to give you gloves to use with the UV lights and I was not offered them the last two times I've been. read more

I went to Queenie today for a gel manicure ($28) and pedicure ($16) because my usual place in Riverhead had fallen victim to the Polish Festival. Overall, awesome! Highlights: -they carry a good selection (25+) of Le Chat's Perfect Match gel polish (so your toes can match your fingers, if you're into that) and plenty of other shades of gel polish too -everything is seemingly brand new and the place looks great -they give you gloves to wear for the UV process -those ladies have some serious filing skills, my skin usually crawls during the file, but they were quick and it wasn't even remotely unpleasant -new to me: their UV lamps are set into the manicure table -the man who gave the manicure shoulder massage was freaking awesome. Really tops compared to the usual brief and light massage I get elsewhere -the employees jumped to help everyone who walked through the door, even gave feedback on colors My pedicure felt a bit rushed (but on the flip side, I was out in an hour - pretty damn impressive for a gel manicure) and I was being helped by a new girl so it was a bit rough around the edges, but everyone was attentive and friendly. I have been using Queenie nails for about seven years now. I have sent more people there than I can count and spent thousands of dollars, they keep track for points so I'm sure of this. Today will be my last visit. I did not have anything other than my debit card and the total was $24 she pointed to the sign which said the minimum was $25. I explained that was all I had and it was only a matter of a dollar. When she handed me the slip to sign she had charged me the extra dollar to make it $25. I understand them having a policy for people charging small amounts but to lose a customer over a matter of one dollar seems like really bad business, especially considering I often go and I'm the only person there when it used to be packed. Today for example is a Saturday and there were only three other people in there. I suspect they will not be around for very much longer. AMAZING!!!!! They just opened this week so we decided to stop in for gel manicures while on vacation. The place was CLEAN and well organized. They staff were so sweet and pleasant. The owner, "Queenie" was so professional and knowledgable. I get gel manicures very often, and this is the first place I've even been to that uses the UV gloves to protect your skin while curing the gel. Great place to go if you want a wonderful atmosphere and a great gel manicure!!! read more

I called to get a gel pedicure and May said yes she had time for a pedicure. I arrived 10 minutes late. I was planning on getting a 15 minute massage which was included in the pedicure spa options #2. She finished my gel pedicure in 20 minutes because her appointment was there. Cream and massage is included with whatever pedicure you get. She had the audacity to say she did not have time to massage and put cream on my feet even though I was still getting a pedicure. She said "if I wanted it" I would have to wait for another lady that was already doing a pedicure for someone. Highly recommend not going here. Just received a powder gel polish from this place. I absolutely hate it. My nails are all bumpy and the polish is all over my fingers. The tips are jagged too (i asked for rounded). Just started coming here for my Mani & Pedi. This place is amazing. Everyone who works here really goes out of their way to greet you and be friendly. Also, this place is VERY clean which is super important. Everything is well kept and organized. They have so many color options, more then I've ever seen at any other salon.
