After moving into my recently purchased house, I needed to have the furnace and a/c cleaned. The…read morefurnace and a/c are only four years old, but the previous owners apparently rarely cleaned, were smokers, and had animals. I asked a journeyman electrician friend for a recommendation knowing that he often wires furnaces and a/c systems, and he immediately recommended Erives Heating and Air. I called and was able to easily get an appointment within six days. The technician, Coco, arrived as scheduled and was very friendly. He explained what he was going to do, asked if I had any preliminary questions, and then went straight to work. When he finished, he showed me how to operate all the different components since I am new to the house and the system has some accessories. He explained in detail what he did during the cleaning, including cleaning and checking the electrostatic air cleaner and UV light. He removed the electrostatic air cleaner inserts and showed me how to clean them and told me how often. Due to a snow storm and low temperatures, Coco was unable to service the a/c system, but we scheduled a future date to return to do that. Update: Coco came back out and cleaned and checked the a/c system with the same professionalism as with the furnace. He even went as far as to verify the correct part number for a replacement accessory with his supplier to ensure I was purchasing the correct part. He didn't have to do that, but he went out of his way, which shows his character well. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism of Coco from Erives. I plan on using Erives and requesting CoCo for any HVAC needs I have in the future or if I need a contractor recommendation if they don't perform a specific service.

GE might be great at work that IS needed, but you should get a second opinion.

After meeting Ryan, honestly, it was a very welcomed time together talking about what we really needed, he listened and our conversations were straight forward and we went with them. His crew of guys were all in synch with each other and me and the installation went well, without any hitches. We added a Trane heat pump, via a longish run through the crawl space to a Trane coil on top of an Amana variable speed furnace. The crew tied all the equipment together in synch very well. Hillary in the back office was also in synch with Ryan and me via text and phone and the whole process went as 'expected'. All the guys were courteous, respectful, professional and most of all knowledgeable! Glenda and I are glad we waded through the myriad of Denver companies and chose Comfort Pros. Do yourself a favor and give them a call... you will be rewarded going forward.

Also, the mini-split did not come with all of the filters indicated in the users manual. In retrospect, I would have gone with another company for the mini-split.
