Have been here twice within a six month period. Seemed strange that the effects of both Botox and Restylane had diminished completely in 3 months. Went back a second time and had the same amount of both of the above injected initially, then Dr. Vicky suggested a bit more of each. Paid over $700 this time. One month later now and Botox improvements gone and need filler again. Almost seems like diluted products. Don't waste your precious money here! read more

Horrifying. I went into the Wayzata office for facial injections Dysport and Restylane. After 2 weeks of waiting to heal, I found that my right eyebrow raised up and my left didn't. I also found that the entire right side of my lips were larger than the left. I went in for a touch up and the injectionist added more Dysport in my forehead and charged me an additional $150, and added more Restylane in my lips. Now my left eyebrow is higher than my right and my lips are still noticeably larger on the right. Total cost for this botched job was $750. Do NOT go here! I had an apt today with Leslie (I think that was her name- she owns the spa) We did a syringe of restalyne in my lips and some Dysport in my forehead. Prior to this apt I had never used facial/lip filler but had done a Botox treatment in 2014. The Spa was very clean and extremely visually appealing. Leslie was VERY informative and filled me in on anything and everything i needed to know about the treatments as well as aftercare. She was VERY personable and it was delightful talking with her. She treated me as family would- was very gentle doing the procedures, if she thought she had made me uncomfortable while injecting (which she DIDNT) she would apologize. I saw this place on Groupon and have been wanting Botox for a while now, so with the amazing reviews on Groupon I decided to call and get information. They honor the Groupon price in clinic, which is what I did. I scheduled with Dr.Vicky, she was nothing short of amazing! She is personable, informative, helpful, and not pushy which was huge for me! She gave me options and suggested we do a little more than my Groupon covered, but we didn't have to if I wasn't comfortable. I decided to go in in the middle seeing it was my first time. She suggested Dysport which is cheaper and just as effective. The whole appointment took 15 mins. The place is comfortable, they have complimentary drinks, it's clean, and inviting. I left happy. I started seeing results in 2 days and I'm now about a week out and I'm LOVING the results. I will definitely be going back to Dr.Vicki. read more

Do not get ANY treatments here. If the treatments don't work and you develop any medical issues they will te you to go away and not address the problem. You'll walk out with all your hair, skin issues and out of cash. If you want to get cussed out and are in desperate need to seek an attorney to help you get your money back then go ahead and visit them. I feel that at this point I need to add a review. I'd gone to ANEW for at least 5 years when they were located in downtown Minneapolis. I loved Dr. Vicky and never had a problem ever. Multiple laser treatments, Botox and fillers. Once they moved to Minnetonka I did have an issue where Dr. Vicky provided a service and when there was no change I went back and she made a comment that "you're such a perfectionist". We looked at the before and after pictures and it was very obvious that I was right. She did redo the service at no charge but I was so angry about her comment so I started going to another provider. Some years later I noticed the groupons and thought I'd give it a try. Of the few services I've had done, none of them have been up to par. Same as another reviewer, I had Botox (or dysport or xeomin- I've had good results with all of them) and when it didn't work went back and was told I needed to purchase more. I do believe they are diluting the product when groupons are used. I recently got an email from them with a sale price of $109 for a BBL. keep in mind I've probably had 10 or more BBL's over the years. I was in and out within 5 minutes! I specifically asked if she was doing red and brown and she indicated she was. I had absolutely NO lightening of the age spot on my face. Since Dr. Cindy partnered with these other providers the services at the Minnetonka can no longer be trusted. I am absolutely done with this place. Before you go ask yourself why they always have groupons? If you have loyal customers you don't need to keep begging for new clients. So sad. read more

I first become a client by purchasing a gift certificate via the CBS Radio website for a facial and Botox. I had never done either in the past and had always wanted to try them out. I had heard good things about Dr. Vicky from a few former co-workers and decided to go ahead. What I loved most was that the Dr. took a significant amount of time with me to explain the procedures. She was not trying to sell me anything other than what the gift certificate was for. She explained what to expect and really seemed to care. The Botox was completely painless and didn't do anything "weird" to my face...it just made me look refreshed. In fact, within a week I had 3 friends tell me how "rested" I looked. The facial far exceeded my expectations and Rachel the esthetician was wonderful. Again, explaining everything and addressing my concerns. My skin looked fabulous and felt even better. I made an appointment a month later for a Blizzard Peel when they were offering a special. Today is one week from when I had the peel and I am SO happy I did it. I have some sun damage and the peel really helped it so far. I also needed a little extra Botox in my forehead area and Dr. Vicky put the bare minimum that I needed. That is one thing I really like about Anew...they are not pushing you to get more than what you need and they respect that you want to keep an eye on your budget. The ONLY thing I wish was that the skin care items offered were less expensive. They are VERY pricey, but I suppose its because they are medical grade. They don't tell you that you have to purchase anything, but I wanted to make sure I was doing everything 150% correctly. The products ARE great....but again, quite pricey. The procedures themselves are very reasonable in my opinion. They periodically offer specials of discounts for multiple services, so that helps. I plan to have some additional treatments for melasma and some sun damage on my chest. I like that Dr. Vicky is REAL M.D. Being a first-timer to these type of procedures, it made me feel better to know that I was going to someone who is well-trained and experienced in medicine. I am definitely going to be a long-term customer. If you are new to the world of medical spas, then Anew is the place for you. read more

Bought a Groupon for Botox here since Groupon had racing reviews. I've had Botox several times and worked for a Dermatologist in the past. Vicky was the person who performed my injections. She was very pleasant and informative of the procedure, even though I already knew about the injections and had professional knowledge about them. After 4 weeks I noticed no results in my forehead, eyes or glabella. I called he office and went in for a re-treatment. She told me that it did indeed work around my eyes, even though there was absolutely no difference and that she wouldn't retreat this area for free. So I let it go and she retreated my glabella and forehead. 4 weeks later still nothing! I had never had issues before with no results with Botox. I called their office and they said the don't do refunds but that I could come for another appointment. I live 45 mins away and was not going to go back if they couldn't perform the treatment correctly the first 2 times! Truthfully, I think they water down their Botox treatments. It seems like Vicky is performing the injections correctly as far as her technique goes, but why would the treatments not work then? Watered down Botox and it's cheaper for that reason! HORRIBLE!!!!!!! They use their clients as Guinea pigs for new products. I received a skin pen treatment and a day after, my face completely broke out in acne/rash. When I called to complain, they knew exactly what I was talking about because it happened to their boss AND 11 other people and they still used the numbing cream that caused it on me!!! Their solution was to offer me a free skin pen treatment! Yeah right!!! I will NEVER go to them again!! This has been a nightmare!!! I'm very pleased with the services I received here from Dr. Hagstrom. First, she listened very carefully to what I wanted and explained the procedures thoroughly. I was very comfortable with her level of knowledge and expertise. She clearly knows what she's doing. Second, her philosophy is consistent with mine and she didn't try to oversell services or encourage a look that screamed "I just had work done: lots of it!" She has a more natural/minimalist approach which I really liked. Location is great if you work downtown. Only con is that it's more expensive than many of its competitors. This is perhaps attributable to the fact that an M.D. does most of the procedures (not the wholly non-invasive ones) and that rent is more expensive downtown. Frankly, I don't care. I would rather pay slightly more and be confident with what I'm getting than trust my face to someone less experienced. Last plus: they will throw a little makeup on you on your way out so it doesn't look like you just got some work done. Nice touch! Highly recommended. read more
