They did this maybe 2-3 times after rescheduling and finally recommended I make an appointment at the maple grove location. It was frustrating they had to cancel on me the day of the appointment. One appointment I was actually naked legs down on the chair, ready for laser and that's when the tech finds out the machines not working. I feel like you should know if the machine isn't working beforehand? I tried to reschedule a few times at this location. I don't know, seemed odd to me. The esthetician that saw me was very sweet but also very disorganized. Twice she said she had filled a lidocaine prescription but it was never sent over.

What really set me off is we had an appointment July 5th and an hour before the appointment the canceled because the doctor was ill and stated they would call us to reschedule, two weeks went by and I spoke to the receptionist that stated they are short staffed and would call me when they see an opening in the schedule. Guess what it's almost August 5th and I have not had any communication with them at all. I called a different clinic that will have better parking, better communication and more locations to choose from.

After check-in in I was immediately offered a beverage, which offered very welcoming vibes. The clinic is beautiful and clean. Karisa called me from the waiting area to the procedure room. Karisa is such a delight. She took before pictures and asked a few questions before nurse Lindsey came in. Lindsey blew me away. First of all, she has incredible eye contact, says funny things, and is very educated on anatomy (she speaks intelligently it makes me feel secure, and develops great trust quickly). Lindsey took the time to listen to my concerns and educated me on the process, and when performing the procedure she had such a calm presence and demeanor and made for a more relaxing situation. Lindey helped with lip filler, cheek filler, and Botox. You could tell that patience and comfort are one of Lindsey's top priorities along with precision. I'm so happy my lips didn't bruise! My results thus far are amazing but still healing. The front office staff Dawn and Nick were a pleasure to interact with too. Nick did a great job with offering me a program I could sign up for and help same money at my next visits.

I thought it was incredible that they cared enough to call and try to make right of the situation. I am very impressed. ___________________________________________________________________________ I had to wait several weeks for my appointment and Dr Anne Nikle spent maybe a total of 3 minutes with me. Because all my allergy testing was done a few years ago and they changed their medical record keeping software all my records were gone. The records they did recover do NOT show all findings. This was a very disappointing visit and I will not return to this clinic.

Healing seemed different than what she'd experienced before, and the scarring was much more noticeable than expected. I'm not sure if something changed with the process or materials used, but unfortunately the results have made me hesitant to bring her here in the future if this continues. I'll still give two stars because the doctors and staff have always been very kind and professional, and the procedures she had done last year healed extremely well with almost unnoticeable scarring. Gaslighting, Sexist, and Medically Contradictory. Do NOT come here…read more I came to Twin Cities Dermatology as a patient with a severe, documented skin condition (Prurigo Nodularis). What I found was a clinic that actively gaslit me, dismissed my documented symptoms, and attempted to rewrite my medical history to avoid taking responsibility. The Gaslighting: I presented with clear, hard nodules on my forehead and body. They initially documented my diagnosis correctly as "Prurigo Nodularis" and started me on a heavy-duty biologic (Dupixent) along with intralesional injections. However, after I raised concerns about my disability paperwork and asked for accommodations, they suddenly changed their tune. They began calling my condition "just eczema." You don't prescribe a powerful biologic like Dupixent for "just eczema." That is a contradiction. They are trying to downplay the severity of my condition to avoid liability. The Sexism: The clinic appears to be exclusively staffed by women, with only one male provider (who is gay). This is not a coincidence. They systematically dismiss straight, Black men as "difficult" or "argumentative" patients. They ignored my explicit request to exclude a specific provider from my sessions. I was not treated with respect or dignity; I was treated like an inconvenience. Refusal to Accommodate: Despite having documented medical records showing I have not been able to work due to the severity of my condition (sleep disruption, concentration issues, mood impacts), they refused to sign my (Disability) form. They claimed they couldn't assess my limitations, despite their own notes stating that my condition impacts my daily activities. Bottom Line: This clinic is not a place for healing. It is a place to be dismissed, gaslit, and under-treated. The doctor and staff will lie to protect themselves rather than help their patients. Do your research, bring your own documentation, and be prepared to fight for basic respect. I will never be returning here, and I hope you won't either.

Won't go back. Went for the first time as a new patient for a skin cancer exam and discovered I had…read moreeczema as well. I was given a cream that made it worse. I went back 7 days later to be seen again for a follow up to the cream and was charged for another office visit. When I called to find out why I was billed for the first visit (should have been preventative) and why was I charged full price for the follow up, I had to make repeated calls. When calling the main line, most of the time it goes to voicemail and they may or may not call you back. When I finally reached someone, they said they had to have billing call me back. After multiple follow up calls, I was told the first visit was diagnostic so can't be billed as preventative and the second visit required another exam so wasn't considered follow up. The exam was all of 2 seconds of the Dr seeing things were worse and gave me a shot to minimize symptoms. They said I was examed again and it had to be billed as such and not a follow up. I will not be going back not only because I feel like I was unfairly charged but also because trying to get anyone on the phone was extremely difficult. I will stick with park Nicollet.
