First let me say I have not had any work performed as of yet by Dr. Wire. With that being said, when the time comes, he will be my doctor of choice. I first saw him a few years ago for a breast augmentation consultation. I had seen several doctors before him and he was the first and only one to take measurements, ask questions, and spend time with me answering all my questions. I had a mini face lift done at Dr. Wire's and it's been four and a half months and I am still suffering after effects. I should be well on my way to healing but I feel like I am going backwards. My ears are sore, I still have numbness all around my ears, my neck is so tight I can hardly move my head and I think some permanent stitches are sticking through my skin. I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty (removal of sagging skin) and a lower eyelid tuck done at Dr. Wire's office on 10/30/18. From start to finish, Dr. Wire and his staff couldn't have been more professional or accommodating. They took great care to give me detailed written pre- and post-operative instructions, in addition to explaining the entire procedure to me in person. I knew exactly what to expect, before and after the procedure, and they were spot-on. They gave me all the time I needed to express my apprehension, as I was contemplating having the procedure done, and were generous with their advice and reassurance. Dr. Wire's office is lovely, and the pre-surgery room, where I received relaxation medication along with acupuncture and aromatherapy, is so warm and calming. I am happy they only use local anesthesia, as "going under" all the way is so much more invasive and risky. Initially, there is a lot of bruising, so I looked pretty scary for a couple of weeks! I had my 6-month checkup today, and I couldn't be more THRILLED with the results! My eyes look so much more wide open. The lids actually feel lighter! They are perfectly symmetrical.
