I've been a patient w/ Dr Lin for 2 years, my Botox and fillers are always on point. The staff is really helpful. They are always attentive and I'm always in and out. Here are my results from my last visits I purchased 2 fillers. Cheek bones and Marionette lines. They always have amazing specials & prices.

The doctor had done a Mini thread n botox. He is very kind Very giving making my outcome the best we'll see how it looks after a swelling goes down.

Took advantage of this Groupon - $6 a unit as opposed to my normal Doctor. Let me just say, I have bruising and lumps all over my face. I did 40 units, got up sold. Wish I would've stuck with 20. My right eye is lazy, I had a nosebleed this morning. And the lumps and pain have not subsided. Do not go with the best bang for your buck. I have reached out multiple times and had no response. It's been less than 24 hours since injection. Full blown right lazy eye. So bummed. I've been getting Botox for years, I've never had this happen before. Mortified.

BOTCHED. The DR who I saw to dissolve my lips said she has no idea what was in my lips. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!

I just got scammed so hard. Total lack of transparency, professionalism, and compassion. I've been getting Botox to my masseter and temporalis for years to combat clenching and migraines from TMJ. Before even assessing my jaw and even before taking my mask off, Dr Lin urged me to purchase 60 units. Unlike other injectors, his injection was uncomfortable, painful, and rushed. Compared to other injectors, he lacks skill and technique to provide seamless and strategic placement. Masseter Botox is not supposed to hurt y'all. I would know this. I've been getting it for years now. Previous treatments, I have been injected several different areas of the masseter and temporalis and not just poked once in my masseter. There was no way of knowing he even used 60 units. He quite literally ran out of the room with his syringe after he poked me on each masseter. I honestly don't even know what product he used. He didn't fill his syringe in plain sight of the client. Supposedly he did 30 units in each side without even a proper assessment of my bite and facial balance. My left jaw is much stronger than my right. Careless and negligent patient care. You can tell he is money hungry by the way he pushes patients to buy more treatment even before a proper patient assessment, tells you to stop using Groupon (even though he's the one listing his business on Groupon), and saying his business can't survive off the specials he provides. His Gucci Louis Prada from head to toe just shows he doesn't give a rats ass about what patients go through every day as a result of chronic migraine, clenching, and orofacial pain. As long as he gets his money, he's a happy camper. You should be ashamed to call yourself a doctor !! More like a doctorate of Swindling. You need to review the Hippocratic Oath you scammer. read more

I had lipo on my inner thighs and back of my legs before the pandemic, but they took out too much and I had many areas that had gaps. I tried to go to several places to get treatment to get my legs better and no one was able to help me out. I had read reviews about Dr. Lin, so I ended up going to see him. He used Sculptra to fill in the areas that need to be corrected. I immediately saw results but I waited 6 months and saw further improvement and I was very pleased with the results. I went back to Dr. Lin six months after to fill in other areas that needed improvement. So far I am so happy with the immediate results. I was turned away by many doctors who told me that nothing could be done because too much fat was removed. Dr. Lin was great, gave me hope and the results are excellent. read more

I've been here a couple times. I've received Botox and xeomin. For the amount I used (I don't have too many lines) it did not work . I thought we'll maybe it's my body . I've been to other doctors and it seems the amount maybe was not what I paid. I've had better results from other places. He's close so I have gone back. Last time I felt a little upset . I received a "deal" for two areas. ( middle forehead and crows feet) . I sat down he said ok $360. I asked I thought it was two areas he said yes 10 units both areas. My fault for not clarifying what "2 areas means" . My results are average . I sometimes wonder if he uses the amount I'm paying or his "cheap" rates are really just cutting back and not giving you the full amount.I also asked about lip filler... never heard of the injectable's they use . Dr.Lin has been doing my Zeomin injections for about a year now. They have really helped with my forehead lines and animated frown lines. The staff is super helpful and was able to get my sister and I in on very short notice. Please do not come here to get under eye fillers. I look better before coming here than when I left. The Dr. did not give the results he promised and I regret getting the fillers. They were not symmetrically done. Also, he made a vein pop out under my eye that was not visible before. Felt like I got scammed here. read more

This was my first going to anew laser and it was really great! I went in for my lip fillers. The assistant in the front was very helpful and checked my temperature and answered any questions I had while waiting. She put the numbing cream and as I waited I was watching music videos and waiting peacefully in a room. I then met the doctor and his name was Dr.lin was very nice and welcoming. He did my lip fillers. And it was a moderate pain. He thanked for me being calm because I'm guessing it hurts a lot of ladies. Overall experience was was amazing ! I'm going to be going back FOR SURE in the future! Highly recommend this place and Dr.Lin!! read more

If I can't leave less star I will do don't go here Does not know what he's doing I've done the Sculptra bbl told me it will not hurt I was screaming from the pain I also did my lips before he started my Sculptra I came home and fall asleep got up at 1 am from the pain in my lips I called the doctor that night showed him a Picture and he told me that this was perfectly normal I did not even want to go back for him to see me which he did not even offer found another place to dissolve whatever he injected in my lips I am extremely scared because I don't know what he injected in my butt please do not go to him it's not worth it read more

I wanted to get a cover up done. However the artist told me my current tattoo is too dark to get any color work done and suggested I get some lightening done with laser removal. Which brought me here, laseraway. I saw a deal online about a discount and thats what sold me. I've been a client for over 2 years for laser tattoo removals. They use a technique to try and determine the length of treatment. I provided my history of the tattoo and location, size, etc. and they determined it would take about 17 sessions to fully remove it. I originally purchased 6 sessions with numbing and I didnt see any progress when it came to my 4th or 5th session so I added 4 more. Now, my sessions are almost coming to an end and I am on my 7th out of 10, the nurse said that it will all he gone if I added 3 more sessions afterwards. So a total of 13 sessions. Even with the numbing cream, each time, the laser will intensify to break down the pigment of the ink and deeper into your skin. They provide you with eye protection and a stress ball. They also provide cold air as they move the laser on your tattoo. Once they are done, they will provide you with some ointment, wrap, and an ice pack if needed. After each session, they recommend a longer healing time. I went from 3 weeks, to 4, 6, 8, 12...etc. so it doesnt get done immediately. My last 3 sessions will probably be 4 to 6 months apart. The reception staff are friendly and will try their best to upsell other services to you. Other than that, the facility is nice and has great air conditioning.

I went in for a Yelp glow event where I received a complimentary facial. I liked the facial enough. This is also the first medspa I've ever interacted with/stepped foot into so I was intrigued. I've been wanting to get rid of my persistent dark spot and friends around me were starting to visit medspas. Without doing proper research (which is 100% my bad) I decided to get the picosure pro package after the facial. I don't know what came over me. I just spent the money. The manager was quite convincing and in hindsight I should've done my research prior to spending so much money at this place. The package was definitely a good deal. I did a chemical peel, 2 sessions of picosure pro, and 2 facials. The facials were fine. My three stars are related to following experiences - the lack of communication throughout the process regarding the pros and potential cons or side effects, the lack of interaction I had with the NP who did the procedure, the lack of deep knowledge of the procedure, and the outcome. After my peel, I had additional dark spots. Sure my skin looked brighter (I peeled A LOT) but I also got additional darkspots from the peel. Then I went in for my pico pro sessions. The pico pro got rid of my one initial darkspot but brought forth MORE darkspots. So now, I have darkspots by both sides of my eyes - ones I have not had before. I think the NP was quite aggressive with her procedure. Well I wouldn't know for sure because they haven't explained why I have more darkspots. I was quite proactive in asking questions but a) it was difficult to schedule a time to talk with the NP, and b) the conversation didn't amount to much in my opinion because she simply just said it's part of the process. I think if they had explained that this COULD be a potential side effect, maybe with some more scientific explanations, I would feel better about the situation. Anyway, I considered continuing my treatment here since they "know" my skin but decided I will go to a different medspa to fix my darkspots.

I almost died... I almost lost my life. Dr. Linn destroyed my body, gave me horrible infections and now I have to pay over 50,000 to fix my body. ONLY GO TO BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEONS. The photos that you see of me online here and on my iG are me my whole life. I won't post any pic of me now due to Dr. linn destroying my body. And check This out .. Dr. Linn defeated the insurance companies .. A doctor indicted in 2013 pleaded no contest today to one felony count each of unlawful prescription of a controlled substance involving the diet pill phentermine and submitting a fraudulent claim for Medi- Cal reimbursement https://www.sgvtribune.com/2015/12/18/monterey-park-doctor-pleads-no-contest-to-two-felony-counts/amp/ Dr. Thomas Lin at a new laser in El Monte, Newport Beach, upland & LA., he destroyed my body, he put a different patients blood in my body/ lanced drains, gave me a horrific infection, I was borderline septic and had to be lanced and drained daily for nearly 3 weeks, he lanced me again and again with no numbing, imagine being sliced open..., well I was and I felt everything. Horrible deadly pain. Before you have any procedures here especially an awake bbl or injections go there on a Thursday, sit in the waiting room and listen to all the patients screaming in pain. I modeled for playboy and I've been in top shape my entire life, I wanted a skinny bbl for a little more plump so I went to Dr. Thomas linn a new Lazer El Monte. HE DESTROYED MY BODY. And his Nurse will even attest to these facts, as she has actually quit working for him because as she stated "she doesn't want to be responsible or held liable for his wrongful actions." If you want to see my before and after dm me & I'll share with you. Prior to surgery Dr. linn told me that he can do skinny bbl then During the procedure he told me that he is not going to lipo the upper stomach because he is scared he might puncture my boobs. I was like.. whaaat...? My boobs are no where near my upper stomach. Wtf Dr. Linn also put another patients blood into my lanced open wounds (he was in surgery with another patient, he left that patient to Check on me, he came into the room I was in with his surgery gloves on that were full of blood from the other patient and he proceeded to touch me and palpate me on all my open lanced drain holes with a different patients blood into my body and I had to tell him to stop, gave me horrible infections and again destroyed my body. In addition to him destroying my body, I felt everything !! It was extremely painful!! originally he said he was able to do that area and during surgery he said he could not and didn't not do that area. He failed to properly numb me so I felt the entire procedure. During the procedure I witnessed him open the fat jar, take a cannula and move the fluids around then leave the jar/ container open and exposed to bacteria, and this was the fluid that he used for the fat transfer that was later infected and had to be lanced and painfully squeezed out of my body daily. His medical assistant actually told me that she is quitting due to his negligence as she doesn't want to be responsible for his neglect actions. The doctor also acknowledges that he messed up and he's offering me to fix it himself. He says whatever it takes to fix it but I don't want him touching me. But he refuses to give me my money back. I am completely traumatized from this experience, I had back surgery when I was 27 and that was nothing compared to the pain and trauma that I experienced from this awake bbl, infection, depression. Worst experience of my life. Dr. Linn also actually admitted that he did wrong and offered to pay me back half my money but when it came to paying me back he has refused and gave me his attorney's phone number. Excellent service and experience-the staff and Dr so incredibly friendly, welcoming, and inviting. Dr trusts that you know your body best and doesn't upsell- would be beneath him to do so- after meeting him I couldn't imagine him ever doing such. Very appreciative of your business and happy to have you as a client. I only spent 10 mins with him but he had a smile on his face the entire time the ladies up front and nurses as well- I left feeling wonderful- the good vibe contagious. I've been doing botox for several years and I know when my injector knows what they're doing. He nailed it- listened to what my preferences were and was only interested in making me happy. Ladies I honestly recommend and trust Dr. Lin for any kind of procedures!!! My personal experience I've tried the fat melt for my double chin and everything went great ! A bit of sourness for a couple of days after that no pain at all! Seen my results in about 10 days I never thought how much a double chin can change a face honestly recommend it! I have a very chubby face with big lips so defining my chin was just the trick I have also been seen for removing cellulite on the thigh keep in mind it takes a couple of sessions depending on how stubborn your fat is. Dr. Lin is very professional and knowledgeable about the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. I have chronic joint pains which improved after just 5 sessions in the HBOT chamber. The inflammation of my joints had obviously decreased from the concentrated oxygen delivered to all my tissues. I have a new healthy feeling of well being. Anew Laser MD also uses HBOT to heal wounds from cosmetic surgeries and injections. That sounds quite unique and innovative. I came here for a hope to regrow my hair because after my hair was thinning I was scared to go completely bald so I decided to undergo treatment here. I thought it would be a long and painful procedure but that was not the case thanks to Dr Lin. After one treatment I'm already seeing some effects of new hair growth. This man is horrible at lipo. He is not clear on anything and just says it will look amazing but I have an ugly lipo and it's uneven with dents. He took my 5k and then after lipo he sent me home. He didn't even do a follow up. He is horrible. I am warning everyone be careful with this man. I highly recommend Anew Laser for their beautifying and wellness treatments offered. I love the hospital grade hyperbaric oxygen chamber to feel rejuvenated and ready torr-oll. Try it out; it is fairly priced per one hour session. Unless contraindicated, it couldnt really hurt! Clean place, nice doctor and he used one of his marvelous lasers on my nose piercing scar. It was black and green before, and now with one treatment it has lightening a lot and I can't wait to get the next treatment! I ask to add filler next to my smile lines both sides of my mouth, he did poke the needle there but push the filler up to my checks. I have a big check already and now I look soo botoxed and ridiculous like someone punched my face. Don't tell me that, this is just the swollen, I can tell between the filler and swollen. Turns out I was injected diluted lip fillers. The visit was great and I saw my lips swollen for 3 days after that the filler was completely gone. Something that could've been handled very simply turned into a much bigger issue than it needed to be. Last Monday I went back to the office and Cindy helped me with the refund. She explained three options clearly and even wrote everything down so I could choose what worked best for me. Option 1: refund the unused balance from my recent recharge in March. Option 2: keep the $4,000 package and get the $1,000 promotion (their deal: deposit $4,000, get $1,000, with member pricing). Option 3: continue with pay-per-service. In the end, I chose to refund the unused amount from my most recent recharge. This place is a bit far for me, and I mainly go there for one specific nurse. Since I don't go often, I didn't want to keep money sitting there. I'll just keep the older balance from over a year ago and use it when I go back. I'm updating my review because the issue did get resolved. After I left a Google review, Cindy reached out and helped fix everything, and I did receive my refund.
