Walking down the aisle and seeing it for the first time is a moment I will never forget. It was absolutely breathtaking. I threw so many random details and inspiration photos her way, and somehow she took all of it and turned it into a cohesive, stunning color palette that felt effortless and intentional. One detail that stood out most were the orchids. In the lead-up to the wedding, Jessica actually texted me asking if I liked the flower, and the gorgeous pink-and-purple spotted orchids she ended up weaving throughout the design became one of my absolute favorites. That flower will forever remind me of my wedding day. But my favorite detail has to be the guest trees that held our seating place cards. They were probably the idea I was most excited about. I had this whimsical vision of a tree where guests could pick up their escort cards, shared through one inspiration photo and a lot of me rambling, and Jessica just got it. For the evening reception, she didn't just bring the idea to life, she elevated it into two breathtaking cascading trees that were accessible from every side. It was even more beautiful than anything I had imagined and truly felt like a centerpiece of the entire experience. Beyond the florals themselves, Jessica and her team were simply wonderful to work with. They were organized, responsive, and made the entire process feel easy and calm, which is no small feat during wedding planning. We loved working with Anemone Creative. I was basically sold already when I first talked to Jessica about doing flowers for my wedding (from looking at her blog, which you should check out), but talking to her on the phone very quickly got me to 100%. Jessica very efficiently took a few Pinterest pictures and vague thoughts (...foliage? Different flower shapes? The venue is blue?) and was able to come to a coherent idea of key flowers (blueberry and yellow roses and thistle among others) and color palette and show me pictures of similar weddings she'd done over a short call. Jessica was great at thinking of budget friendly ideas - she designed the flowers so nothing needed to be returned and suggested reusing bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces, for example. While putting together our proposal, she visited our venue and came back with great ideas for additional decoration, but didn't push us to do anything we didn't feel comfortable with. We also really appreciated her eco-friendly approach and how easily she was to work with on tweaking the proposal. Day-of logistics went swimmingly - flowers arrived to our getting-ready location on time, and when we got to the venue everything was already set up and gorgeous. The flowers themselves were totally amazing and perfect for us. After the wedding, we took the bridal bouquet apart to press the flowers and that process really made it clear how intricately and thoughtfully each individual bloom and leaf was selected and arranged. 5 stars, could not imagine better. read more

After having to cancel our wedding in 2020 and eloping instead, we asked Jessica to create some centerpieces and accents for our post-elopement party! Right from our initial meeting she was prepared and was able to incorporate her vision into our celebration without sacrificing my own. I had my wedding on October 24, 2021 and having Jessica as my florist exceeded my expectations. We booked Anemone for our wedding day (Arch, Bridal Bouquet, center pieces, ceremony decoration, sweetheart table, etc.). Jessica is the best. From the beginning she was truly dedicated. The initial communication I provided few pictures of what I envisioned and described what I was looking for on our big day. Then we had a zoom meeting and Jessica shared her suggestions with pictures and her ideas, based on I requested. The zoom call was very productive as I was able to see additional pictures of her work and just by talking to her things would naturally fall into place. I was amazed by her work. She had several ideas and options. You can tell that she love what she does. The floral arch for me was very important. I was much more than pleased with the arch. It was just stunning. Throughout the process, Jessica was very direct, flexible and patient at the same time. I connected really well with her style. She worked with me on many changes and adjustments. We went from doing the wedding ceremony at the church followed by dinner; to having the ceremony and then flipping the room to dinner at the restaurant. I would not have done it without Jessica. What I love the most about Jessica is how straight forward she is. She focuses on what you desire and enhances it at all times. The end result was just perfect. I can't say anything but the best things about Anemone Creative and Jessica! We were going through various vendors for flowers and nothing seemed to match our style/vision or was just not realistic within our budget. However, when I chatted with Jessica, she was AMAZING! Right away, she knew the style I was looking for in our flowers and understood my priorities. She somehow magically made my vague disjointed ideas (and a few random photos from the internet) in to a seamless and classically beautiful design through the personal flowers and centerpieces.
