Matcha plover
Tara A.

Love having Andytown in this neighborhood! I haven't encountered a line yet and it's in a great market. Snowy plover & matcha plover are my faves, though I can't figure out how to mix the matcha plover without it getting way too fizzy lol.

I seen this crew hanging around by the ice skating rink at Union Square in SF trying to flex last year on my social media feed

There are plenty of places to find great coffee in San Francisco. You can find different varieties of coffees and some even with more than one locations. This coffee roaster is known all across the city for its quality. There locations in Outer Sunset, Outer Richmond, The Mission, The Financial District, and Glen Park. It's Andytown Roasters. On a Winter stroll on the first morning of Lunar New Year I went to Diamond street to the newest location of Andytown Roasters. Inside they offer espressos like mochas, lattes, macchiatos, and drip coffee. I have decided to try their snowy plovers. I got the matcha plover and it was made for Don Juan de la Matcha. It was creamy and sparkly juicy, not too sweet and it all on ice. It is my favorite iced matcha sparkling drink. They have strawberry plover and everything scallion cream cheese puff. They also have crusty and flakey treats like some in SF Andytown Roasters. A great new place to grab some quality coffee. It's a hidden gem on Diamond street in the Glen Park Village. In the city that still has Andytown Roasters all "around "which roast their own coffee "ground"and also sell it by half a "pound" at Diamond street in Glen Park "Andytown" It is "wise" to come here after "sunrise" get the plover strawberry or matcha on "ice "because it's a pleasant "surprise"

Really hope Andytown doesn't compromise quality in favor of expansion because I simply love their snowy plover drink. This location is situated inside Gus's near the entrance. They gave me a healthy dollop of their signature whip cream so 5* for me. Prices getting up there though.. I recommend collecting points so you can eventually $5 off your next drink.

A stop at the new Andytown Coffee counter inside Canyon Market has quickly become the favorite part of my grocery shopping routine. I've always liked the Snowy Plover, an iced espresso drink made with soda water, brown sugar syrup, & a dollop of house-made whipped cream, so I'm thrilled it's available in Glen Park. A tasty, one-of-a-kind, effervescent way to get my coffee fix. Although, I did take note of a caffeine-free option I might try sometime. $6.75, one size only. Super nice baristas.

Andytown Coffee is here. Friendly staff Good service I order my usual iced latte, a great coffee refresher anytime. Yes, outdoor seating is available via the parklet in front. I've tried this drink in the past and it's a refreshing version of iced coffee, likely sweet and creamy with the whipped cream. By the way, their whipped cream is fantastic. The store also sells a variety of coffee beans they roast for you to take at home if you desire. Today, I simply ordered the Latte which was good. I've also tried their mocha which I recommend as well, especially with a touch of whipped cream. The downside of this spot is that the cafe has minimal space to sit so not a good hangout spot. You pretty much order your drinks to go. I've been to this location multiple times and often find their baristas lukewarm, barely smiling or even greeting you, especially compared to some of the new cafes popping up all over town.

There are so many matcha options; it was overwhelming in a good way! My companion ordered for us on the tablet while I got a table. I got the Sunny Side Up Matcha Einspänner with Soy Milk. The default sweetness is half, which I kept. The matcha here is really in-your-face! Strong, vibrant, and grassy. I love mango--and it was so cute and aesthetic. The mango was a nice pairing, not too sweet, and a decent amount. Overall, it was a rich, creamy drink, and I'd order it again. I'd love to try other drinks as well.

Love seeing the roaster and beans being roasted. Ordered a latte and it was piping hot, unfortunately way too hot to drink, so be careful. Once cooled down, the coffee was good, medium almost dark roast. Matcha was okay, had good flavor. The baked good is from a starter bakery which is from Berkeley/Oakland area. The baked good were delicious, so wish it can be heated up. Overall, a solid option for well priced coffee that roasts in house beans, but do need to watch milk temperature so that it is not too hot to drink.

I wasn't even aware this low-profile shop was even here because it melts imperceptibly on Taraval's blandest commercial block in the Outer Sunset. This is also where Andytown roasts and packages all their beans. I saw some of this activity happening in a flurry behind the barista. I didn't know Andytown has a Northern Irish heritage but found out their in-house baked goods reflect that lineage. I ordered the $3.50 Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the prominent amount of salt was indicative of true Irish technique (Photo 10).
