I never write reviews. This is to Noreen S. When I read one such as above regarding Dr. Parker from some woman who is upset over the wait time in the office I must interject on his behalf and that of his staff. He is exactly correct in his reply to the comment, if you wait, he is more than likely giving a patient a high level of care, as he does to all his patients that I have known. He may be assisting another doctor in a critical emergent 2nd opinion. I am happy to wait knowing I will get the same level of care that he gives to others. His expertise and professionalism is off the chart and I have seen many Ortho Doctors in this area. I have always come back to Andy Parker because he knows without question what he is doing. I have seen him for YEARS and avoided surgery by his recommendations. I promise, if I need surgery he will be the one to do it. If he is not, it will be because HE has decided there is someone better than him at a particular area of the body. The human body is insanely complex and he is a MASTER in his specific areas. I do not know your situation (this is my reply to the 1 star above) but your pre-judgement allowed you to miss out on the finest care. I will also add that I myself have been late to an appointment. Every doctors office would tell me- Sorry, you are late, reschedule (which is fair). His office has fit me in because they care. You were lucky to get an appointment with Dr. Andy Parker and he was likely lucky you went elsewhere as you simply seem to be an angry/unhappy person. I do accept my statement and know the stress caused over injury alone is enough to have us all on edge. He is the only Dr. I have come across that wants to avoid surgery unless absolutely necessary. The important thing is you found someone that you trust but the negative review is no reflection on Andy Parker. Maybe this is why I do not write reviews, but had to comment on the negative one lacking real substance. You likely needed said MRI to get his professional opinion. Perhaps his staff was stressed that day with whatever was going on? Perhaps Dr. Parker had his own personal emergency. We are all human at the end of the day. And we are all doing the best we can, I am, and I firmly believe he is as well. read more
