Due to hip surgery one leg is shorter than the other and went to him to get a pair of shoes made to accommodate the difference. Shoes came in - regular tennis shoes with inserts. I was told I HAD TO TAKE TO SHOE REPAIR PLACE AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW MUCH LIFT NEEDEDI refused them and will see a different Podiatrist. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE read more

Setting up appointment was simple over the phone and within a very reasonable time. Went in for my first ever visit and was very happy with the ladies at the front desk. I was seen as soon as I was done filling out my paperwork. Dr.Katz was very informative and right away had them x-Ray my feet. He quickly showed me the issues and set me up. Not happy at all with the surgery on my special needs daughter. Surgery went ok. The after care was horrible. October 19th 2023. So a week later the stitches were to come out. Had gauze wrapped on the big toe nail that was removed. It was stuck to the wound. Then went back Monday October 30th. To take out stitches. He couldnt. Ended up at urgent care to try to remove all of stitches that were left in..almost over two weeks left in..not happy with the service, care from Doctor and staff. read more

I'm sitting in the office as I write this. My appointment was at 2:30 and i walked in at 2:20pm to a full waiting room. 10 minutes later the doctor walked in. There were 3 appointments waiting to be seen before me. I spoke with another patient and she said her appointment time was scheduled at 2:15pm. So essentially the doctor was 35 minutes late to his afternoon appointments. This is unacceptable. I'm a disabled veteran (there was one other veteran waiting in his office) and sitting for long periods are difficult. I'm shocked that the there are 3"Antelope Valley best" awards on the wall. Disgraceful.. because this appointment was set up by the Veterans Affairs i have no options to see another doctor. If you have another option and value your time you might want to see another doctor. read more

Now that I have experienced quality podiatry, I will never return to Dr Katz. I procrastinated going back to another foot Dr because of the pain that I experienced at the hand of Dr Katz. Both my husband & I felt the pain for the procedure was excessive! I just had a similar procedure with a fabulous podiatrist and it was practically pain free!! I felt that Dr Katz found his painful injections amusing, but what I now know was unnecessary torture!!! Stay away. read more

Dr. Katz and his staff were great! They got me right in on the day I broke my foot. Dr. Katz explained what the treatment would be and answered all my questions. If you are wanting to get an ingrown toenail procedure. I wouldn't recommend this place. I had to go twice and my toe nail is still infected. He doesn't use the proper equipment, he didn't put pressure on my toe and there was blood all around my toe and foot. I am currently looking for another podiatrist. read more

Dr. Katz tended to my special needs, non-verbal sons broken foot. Not only was he extremely patient but he was very kind and understanding. Getting a child with special needs to cooperate isn't always easy but Dr. Katz made us feel safe and like family while we were in his care. He is very knowledgeable in his field. We went to another doctor prior to seeing him and Dr. Katz seriously knows his stuff. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The office is very clean. We love Dr. Katz and will continue to use him for all foot related issues in the future. read more

Dr. Katz is an awesome doctor! He performed both surgeries on my 's on when he was 8 & 9 years old. He assured a smooth transition and it was just as smooth as he said it would be. My son is now 17 and things are still running smoothly. I've taken both of my sons to Dr. Katz for the past 11 years, as well as my grandmother. I trust doctor Katz and love his staff! Reading the bad reviews has prompted me to respond. I don't think I know one doctor's office where I go and never have to wait whether you're a Veteran, elderly, young, male or female, we all wait. You really are very lucky to be referred to such an awesome doctor. Secondly, regarding the "procedure comment", I believe you go to a doctor to tell him your symptoms and allow him to properly diagnose you, then treat you, if needed. What I'm hearing from you is that you went in and diagnosed yourself and you stated that you requested the procedure for your convenience, yet you're complaining? From what I can piece together, you let him know what you had and what you needed, therefore you didn't all him to do his job, he probably did it to make you happy, yet you're complaining about a co-pay, when you requested it? That just sounds silly! By reading your rant, I can hear yelling in your posts, you sound hostile. I've never heard the Doctor nor his staff be rude, I'm sorry your perception is so distorted, but he, his staff and bedside manner rock! #PatientForLife. read more

Unfortunately my experience was not a positive one. Yes, there was a long wait, but that is not what I am dissatisfied with. I was referred to Dr. Katz for a specific procedure. When I came he explained that there would need to be a surgical procedure because of an underlying problem. I had requested this temporary procedure for pain relief and so I could wear my shoes without excruciating pain. I left Dr. Katz's office and was charged for a particular procedure that he did not complete. In addition, that night and next day after my appointment I had shooting pains in my foot that did not exist before. I left in more pain than I had before seeing Dr. Katz. I called the next several days to speak to him or get answers regarding the pain, the procedure he did not do, etc. The first several days Dr. Katz was not available and yes he called a couple of times but we kept missing each other. The staff was not helpful and accused me of yelling...I never even raised my voice. Dr. Katz finally called me and spoke to me but was very disrespectful and egotistical. Actually he was talking over me almost yelling and not allowing me to speak. Clearly he did not want to hear that my foot is in worse condition than before I came in to see him. I can not give him any credit as a Podiatrist or doctor. No one should be treated as I have by him and taken advantage of. read more

Take my mother to see Dr. Katz. Nice clean office. Staff is very friendly. Office manager was very helpful. You do have to wait but not too long and it is deffinitly worth the wait. He is a very good DR. read more
