I was involved in a violent crime went in to surgery for multiple stab wounds had a cut on my wrist woke up with a big wrap around my wrist and the whole time I was there never got a visit or explanation what he had done had multiple surgions because of all the stab wounds had to go back for surgery and this is the result a long scare up my arm going for a second opinion.

This is the result of my finger surgery with a 30 degree bend.

Absolutely worst doctor patient experience of my life from start to finish. The surgery made my finger worse. I went in with mild swan neck deformity on my baby finger and after surgery I came out with a 30 degree bend on my finger. The surgery was a nightmare horrible experience and I will never go back to Dr Frankenstein. I remember getting to the Fremont Surgery Center 5am and they pushed all the patients that came in after me ahead of me. They rolled me in the back away from all the other patients to an area it looked like a storage room and left me there. After about 3 hours and having to complain about it I was finally taken in to surgery. I remember seeing Dr. Stein walk by me and I was expecting him to greet me but instead he ignored me with a scowl on his face. It was the most frightening experience of my life. When I met him earlier in his office he had previously lured me in with his politeness and cool demeanor but he's really a demon inside. I was a fool to ignore my intuitions I felt in his office with his staff and surgical team at the Fremont Surgery Center. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. He and his staff are pure evil. They only wanted my insurance money but did not care about me. I'm sure their highly intelligent staff will respond to discount me and my review and blame me for the poor surgery that went terribly wrong. Or my horrible cheap insurance company that according to them didn't have qualified hand surgeon therapists to give me the proper therapy so they recommended I go to their therapists and pay them out of pocket or not have therapy at all and my hand would automatically heal and the 30 degree radius bend would eventually decrease to about 10-15 degrees.

On a side note he has had the same amazing therapists, nurses and PA, Jennifer since the first time I went to him.

My range of motion never returned back to normal despite the false reassurance by Dr. Stein. The therapists requested my insurance for more therapy sessions so they could try something different to see if they could get my full range of motion back. Even though my insurance approved the sessions, Jenn the PA ended up canceling my sessions being adamant saying I didn't need them. Then she unprofessionally kept arguing with me and said there's nothing else they would be willing to do to remedy the situation. I left a very frustrating voicemail for her asking why they would treat me like that. Not only did she not reply, but a week later, I received a discharge letter in the mail. Fast forward to this week, I had another injury to my hand. Knowing I have limited transportation and access to another hand clinic , I tried calling EB Hand again. I explained the discharge history to the receptionist, but she told me there was no record of me being discharged on file. So then I sent my referral to them and proceeded to book the appointment. I get three hasty call attempts maybe an hour later basically telling me they dug up files from 5 years ago saying I was discharged from their practice. I would avoid this practice like the plague. They mostly deal with Worker's Comp patients, and all they want to do is collect money from your insurance. Whether or not you experience a full recovery or they live up to their treatment promises is of absolutely NO PRIORITY to them. Beware! Zero stars for the medical staff. The one star is for Mike and Joe, the therapists, who were always great to me.

The entire team there is so friendly and committed to their work - you can clearly see it in their great attitudes. Kevin was my primary Physio and Julio and Kevin aided him very nicely. I also had a few sessions with France - and she's super! France has a knack to uncover root causes and how to overcome them. Kevin and France set me up with a a good set of exercises and routines that got my achy shoulder back into shape. The surgeon who recommended PT for me was amazed at the rapid improvement in just a couple of months of PT and told me that I no longer needed the surgery that would otherwise be needed. So a huge THANKS to France, the Kevins, Julio and a couple others whose names I didnt catch. Maria from the front desk made making appointments so easy - including via text - and did a great job of reminding me of upcoming sessions. Highly recommend this team for any physio needs!

I would address my accolades specifically to Jimmy, my PT. I was in that exact spot after surgery, but Jimmy didn't just get me walking again he got me back on the court. What makes Jimmy different is that he doesn't use a "one size fits all" PT manual. He actually reached out and worked directly with my surgeon to build a regimen that suited my specific body and my specific goal of playing basketball again. The sessions were high energy and he tailored everything to the mechanics of the game. In addition to your standard ACL recover routine we did other activities I've never seen at other clinics: Rebound Drills: Literally doing explosive rebounding drills off the office wall to rebuild my jumping confidence. The Sticky Note Test: He had me snatching sticky notes off the ceiling to work on my vertical and reach. Lockdown Defense: To test my lateral quickness, he had me defending one of the clinic assistants in live drills. He knows that recovery is 50% physical and 50% mental. By the time I finished my sessions, I wasn't just healed I actually felt like an athlete again. If you are injured and want to play again, this is the place.
