I hate writing bad reviews, I try to be fair across the board and had a previously good experience with Andrei's. Used these guys in 2018 and basically did the same move, but this time things were different. I had to reschedule several times due to a move in issue and they were accommodating even though it could have messed with their schedule. On the day if the move three movers came on time and started as usual. The 3rd guy was nice, but went back to the truck after 30 minutes and sporadically helped load things in the house, the other two were OK, but one damaged several items (some I found out after unwrapping) and slowed down. Once we got to the new place I was over it but didn't blow up about it. Made it simple for them to place most stuff in the main area and I'll deal with it later. After I had time to settle and started unpacking I noticed damaged items and I figured I'd get them or their insurance to fix it. This is where it went sideways. I tried contacting the number I had been dealing with sending pictures trying to get things fixed or replaced and then got ghosted, no response, reply, it even sorry. Having to file a chargeback due to damages and would not recommend them to anyone based on how they handled it after if things have gone this bad in a little over a year. UPDATE: After posting my review I get a message on Yelp. Basically trying to blame me for things they wrap and moved. Said in 4 years they haven't had any issues like this... (see Ed P's review...) Inaccurately portraying what happened (relying on their version of the story) and said to take them to court rather than trying to do the right thing. I did tweak my review to give them credit for where they did good, but my main issue is with how they handled my problem, not the move. These guys were the best and least expensive for my in city move. They replied with a quote very fast ( which was WAY under other moving company quotes). Showed them videos of what needed to be moved. They fit me in with-in a two day time frame. I told them about the white carpet on the stairs, they made sure to wear booties. They wrapped everything so no cabinets would fly open. I requested 4 men and a 27 ft truck. Took them 5 or 6 hours to complete the move ( which I thought was fast). Very polite crew, on time and everyone was very careful with my belongings. I would recommend using them. read more

We had used Andrei's Moving about a month ago for a move, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Andrei is super communicative and quick to get back to me with an estimate, and work with us to try and get it all done in under 5 hours. We ended up finishing the entire move (including drive time) in 4.5 hours! Of course, we did pack everything ourselves to help cut down on time. All three guys were so friendly, working quickly AND carefully to get all our furniture/boxes in the designated rooms of the new house, leaving everything in the exact condition it was when they picked it up. The only thing we didn't account for was the double payment for a long commute for that hour of travel but that seems like a standard thing. The guys were awesome, super friendly, and pretty fast. These guys are amazing! I needed help with moving large furniture and I booked them a day before I needed the service. They gave me a very reasonable and quick quote. They came on the weekend in the preferred time for me and they did a great job. They didn't only move the large furniture, but they also disassembled and assembled my king size bed, helped me with moving other things as well, small and large. They required 3 hours minimum, which is absolutely reasonable. They were punctual and very careful when moving the furniture. I have had the good fortune of using Andrei's Moving company twice recently. Charlotte coordinated the moves and Andre and V and Andre and Sergey were my two teams. Everyone worked really hard and quickly, at a great price, and took great care of my possessions. I really wish I could've had the experience that others have had in their reviews, as that's one of the reasons I decided to hire these guys for my move. Unfortunately, my experience was very different and a negative one. First off, I hired two movers and one of them showed up with the flu. I felt for the guy, but come on... this is an hourly and physically taxing job, yet he was barely able to move around, let alone shrink wrap and lift heavy items. Since it was one guy who was doing most of the work right off the bat, I asked to get a replacement within the first 30 minutes, but after initially saying they're unable to, the replacement came after 2 hours were already wasted. The sick guy was supposed to leave, but since he couldn't get a ride home, he ended up staying until the end. Long story short, after 4.5 hours to move one bedroom's worth of stuff 3 miles away, it came time to paying. There was mentions of discounts during the move due to the sick guy's poor performance, but at the end of it, the excuse that was made was that I technically had 3 movers for the job for the second half, but was only being charged for two, and that would be the discount. And one of the guys had the damn audacity to tell me that I can make up for it by giving them a nice tip. GTFO here with that. But still trying to be a decent human being, I tipped them 20% of the final bill. To add insult to injury, I noticed a lot of my items were scratched, dented, and/or chipped after everything was dropped off at the new place. This includes my dining table and chairs, night stand, desk, etc. I'm pretty OCD about my belongings, so I know for 100% that none of these damages were present prior to the move. I really wish I had gone with a different moving company and would've even paid double to do it had I known what I was getting into. I thought based on the reviews and pricing, I was going to get good value, but turns out it was an absolute waste of time/money and an expensive lesson learned. Take my advice and pay extra to go with a bigger moving company, especially if you value your belongings, time, and money. Some things are just worth paying more for to have peace of mind. read more

This company is the best. Great communication with Kristina from the start. I only booked a week in advance and it was no problem. Because I'm paranoid, I checked in and reconfirmed with her a million times throughout the week and she was super kind and happily answered all my questions. I requested 3 movers (Andrei, Claude, and sorry forgot the third guys' name) and they showed up right on time and got started immediately. 3 movers in my opinion is the perfect amount. And they moved my partner and I out of a fully furnished single story home to a second floor apartment with only stairs in only 4 hours!!! We were baffled the entire time at how fast they were!! We used Andrei's Moving Company for our move from Hollywood to Koreatown. It was a bit of a last minute decision to hire help, but they were able to accommodate us the next day, and did an awesome job! We had two movers come. They called when they were close, and arrived on time. After seeing our stuff, they estimated about 8 hours for our move. We were trying to stay within a budget so they worked with us on ways to cut down the time, and we helped move things to speed it up. They were super helpful and friendly, did a great job, and all our stuff made it safely to the new apartment -- And we were able to cut an hour or two off the time estimate. This company is the best moving company that Ive had the pleasure to hire in a long time. Both my sister and I required movers to transport furniture, and while she hired another moving company, I chose to go with this extremely helpful and cooperative business. To start things off, their customer service was amazing. I needed a truck on a very short notice, and Charlotte was a big help in faxing information to my landlord, scheduling, and accommodating for my very late notice.
