First, they told us we could just go to urgent care to get my husband medical clearance for his procedure and, of course, we had an extremely hard time finding an urgent care who could take care of this for us. Secondly, we were told that if the procedure took less time than what we prepaid for, we would get credit back on the day of the procedure. It's now days later and they are telling us that we will not be getting any money back because they use an hour and a half as a minimum amount of time. NO WHERE on their invoice does it say that there is a minimum. My husband's procedure was AT MOST 30 minutes in and out, but yet we had to pay for 90 minutes of sedation. This is ridiculous. After speaking to their office staff, I explained how misleading their invoice is and how it is not clear that there is a minimum payment. They had nothing to say to me, except that they were sorry. They had no reason why someone else in their office would tell me that we would be getting credit back on the day of the procedure. On the invoice it says "Flat fee is $0." Then it had other line items underneath that. The whole thing is just absurd. I wish almost $3000 was not a lot of money for us, but it is and any little bit we can save, means a lot to us. I'm happy that all went well with my husband's surgery, most in part to his amazing dentist at the Silverstrom Group, but we will never be using this anesthesia company again.
