I know everyone says their dentist is the best in the valley but I have been going to Dr Kanarki since he took over this practice, and even before that, and it truly is a wonderful place. Every staff member is professional and courteous and, when you've been going there as long as I have, they know you by name, ask how your family is and how your last vacation went. Dr. Kanarki is a kind man and an excellent dentist. It's a pleasure to sit in his chair and I wish my mouth wasn't full of tools so that I could keep up my end of the conversation better! Enter at your own risk. Besides the actual receptionist this office is full of rude people. When you need to rinse you actually have to get up out of the chair , walk over to the sink and spit! How primitive and low budget is that. Forget that the office itself is unclean the Dentist is the rudest of the staff. So walk in, wait two hrs and then have everyone be rude to you? No way, I'll go somewhere where they remember they are in the service business and where I don't walk out feeling like I may have contracted a disease. One star just so the review could be posted. Me and my family absolutely love Dr. Kanarki. That's saying a lot. My son and husband definitely do not like the dentist and they love Dr. Kanarki. He's a straight shooter and doesn't try to force procedures on you that you don't need. He did a great job on my deep cleaning, my husband's tooth extraction and my son's fillings. His staff are very happy and have a great relationship with him, which makes them kind and compassionate towards the patients. I can't recommend him enough. Love Dr Kanarki and his staff! read more

Dr. Kanarki and his staff are the most knowledgeable and caring people. I have extreme anxiety with dentists, and his chair side manner is impeccable. He takes the time to explain everything before and during procedures. He has offered me alternative pain management when needed (which is most times!). Dr. Kanarki is super nice and friendly. I'm new here and I was super nervous about finding a dentist. I'm very relieved I found this place, considering some of the other reviews I've read! One thing I really like about this dentist is that they take pictures of cavities and other problems with your teeth and show them to you! I've had problems with dentists fixing cavities that didn't exist and gladly taking my money, so I really appreciate this. read more

Had the worst experience today with dr kinarki, I'm pulling my family from his practice and going somewhere else. He replaced a few old fillings last week and it was a great experience but when I returned today to get the rest replaced, I let him know of a small concern from the previous week that I only wanted him to look at.. he seemed irritated by me voicing these concerns. The week before he did a great job with numbing me before giving me shots but today he barely even tried and I feel it was in purpose to hurt me because he seemed so irritated. First he told me I was "not a typical patient, overly sensitive" (which there's no reason for him to say this, I actually have quite a high tolerance for pain and never even made a sound last week! But i voiced to him in the past that I'm nervous at the dentist) I still let him proceed and numb me, well he barely let the gel set for 5 seconds (if that) and then pushed the shot in, it freaking hurt cause I wasn't yet numb! He certainly didn't take the same measures as he did last week to ensure I didn't feel anything.. that is why I truly feel he wanted me to feel the pain. I I didn't make a peep, but I had tears pouring down my face, he never stopped and never asked if I was ok, then did a shot immediately in the bottom which he didn't even numb at all!!! So when he was done I said that hurt and he said again "you're just too sensitive" in a nasty tone.. I said to him, you're making me feel bad and I'm not a bad patient .. and he proceeded to yell at me and said " nobody is making you feel that way, you're doing it to yourself, it's in your head!" I was shocked.. so I said that's it I'm leaving and we aren't going to continue anymore, I get up to leave and he Berates me some more and Yells again " what are you, some kind of snowflake?! You just can't handle anything can you?!" I was beside myself and by this point I was bawling my eyes out .. I proceeded to walk towards the front desk, he just followed behind me still insulting me and yelling .. I couldn't understand how a dr could he doing this to a patient. I go to the secretary and tell her to please cancel all my future appointments for my family and asked what I owed her for the numbing, she apologized and said she was so sorry for what was happening (the front desk has always been kind, even though their boss isn't) he continued to stand at the desk and I believe he was tossing around the papers or ripping them up, I can't say which because I couldn't even look at him, he upset me and frightened me so bad. All I know is he was very angry at the desk. And then I left. I have zero clue what I did to set this man off but it is NOT ok that he thinks he can treat anyone like this, let alone a patient, who is trusting them with their body and especially paying them to drill their teeth!!! I'm so disappointed by this experience and It has most definitely affected me emotionally and made me even more intimated by the dentist, which he knew was a fear of mine. Please if you're reading this review in search of a new primary dentist, look elsewhere. read more

i love this place !!!! seriously. best dentist in the AV. dr. kanarki is the sweetest man & walks you through every procedure to make sure you understand exactly what's going on. he also tries to find you the option that will cost you the least amount of $$$ out of pocket as possible. i had an accident resulting in me losing a tooth in the front, they took incredible care of me & the process was seamless. crystal, the receptionist is the sweetest human. the procedure was lengthy so i was there over the course of 2 months & she was like my second mom. she's attentive and more than a receptionist. you can tell everyone enjoys working there. if you're looking as a new patient or just looking to make a change in your current dentist, trust me on this - DO IT!!! read more

I have to say that I have been to many dentists offices and have never felt so welcome as I do here. The entire staff is great, and Dr. Kanarki does a wonderful job. Dr Kanarki and his staff are exceptional in quality and caring. I am from the older generation that used to be righteously terrified of dentists (think of the dentists in Little Shop of Horrors or Running Man). This is from the era before sealants and other modern wonders. I have fillings in every tooth - but thanks to great dental care, I have all my teeth. For the past ten years, Dr. Kanarki has taken excellent care of my teeth & gums. His skill and gentle touch make for a pleasant visit. Dr. Kanarki seemed professional, kind. His support staff needs work, however. Maria, the office manager, misquoted an estimate for the work I'd need done, stating that the procedure would cost me several thousand dollars. I checked with my insurance. My insurance covers the procedure. I called Maria to relay what the insurance told me. She said she'd call to get an estimate. We're going on three weeks. She hasn't gotten an estimate. Further, Crystal, in that office is just plain unhelpful, NASTY and rude. Liked the dentist. His support staff is incompetent and awful. I wonder if Kanarki knows or cares that the women behind his front desk have cost him patients and income. (See other reviews.) read more

I have always feared dentists ever since I was a little girl...I actually avoided going as an adult. When I started having pain I had no choice but to go. My insurance automatically assigned Dr. kanarki to me, and I must say I was so happy with him as well as his staff. Everyone is so friendly. I am no longer scared of going to the dentist, and I completely trust this doctor to work on me. He's very gentle and is always asking if I'm ok during the procedures. I feel very safe with him, that I now take my 4 year old to see him. Dr. Kanarki and his staff make her feel very comfortable. I wanted to write a review for a very long time. I started going to Dr. Kanarki many years ago. I kept him as my dentist due to his wonderful service, but the office after years became a distasteful group of gossiping workers. I understand everyone talks in their own language , but calling in your son and yelling at him while you are working on me is uncomfortable. Apparently it isn't uncomfortable for the "mother son duo." Dr Kanarki although nice messed more than one of my crowns up, he was willing to replace them but when replaced they were color matched with the front teeth instead of the teeth they would be surrounding. Dr. Kanarki came to work on me then said he would be right back, while in the hall (which is two steps away-hello it's a SMALL office) he proceeded to talk bad about my makeup. He was trying to whisper but apparently wasn't capable of a real whisper.The office giggled at my expense, then proceeded to come in to work on me and have a conversation in another language , which was the way they were talking about me without me knowing. Unfortunately for me, I understood most of it. My husband went in for a routine cleaning and as soon as they walked out of the room, the gossip began with him. His appointment was months after mine, I thought they would have been trained properly. In the hall way, Dr. Kanarki talked about how my husband shouldn't be complaining about any tooth pain, because he felt that my husband should have made an earlier appointment if he was so serious about his oral health. Those "whispers" in the hall were all my husband had to hear. Constant rude comments between the staff members, insulting me and my husband, and leaving with an awkward feeling of not belonging. I was in the middle of the movie mean girls and Dr. Kanarki was the most rude of all, not to my face of course. I would suggest some heavy thinking, then to all the staff members- GROW UP. read more
